  2. ***** Good luck with that. The whole point of precious metal currency is that the materials in it cost as much as the face value of the currency.

  3. ***** Right... Because the fact that gold has a very specific density that's easy as hell to check is completely irrelevant. There's a reason why people used gold as currency for thousands of years. (Also a good reason why counterfeiters were given brutal and immediate executions.)
