  14. agua414 Well, Libya was a clear fuckup with no US interests involved. Saddam violated a peace treaty with the US. That makes how well his country "functioned" irrelevant. Once he kicked out the UN weapons inspectors, it was our job to reduce his country to a pile of rubble, because if we didn't, nobody would have reason to honor a treaty with the US again.

  15. agua414 I can agree that Libya was a cluster fuck of epic proportions. We had no national interest there. Iraq was a matter of proving that the US does not just ignore people who surrender and then violate peace treaties. It had jack shit to do with the "people" of Iraq. Quite frankly, their inability to get their shit together is not our problem.
