  4. Chris Lowther Really? Is that why the states with the loosest gun laws have the lowest homicide rates? (Case in Point: New Hampshire) Guns don't cause crime. They prevent it. Mostly be saving the people the cost of incarceration. Fun Fact: In Chicago most "victims" of "gun violence" have criminal records. In recent years, that majority rose to 80%. They way I see it, criminals shooting other criminals is a public service, not a problem. We just need to let the EMTs know the let them bleed out rather than waste good medicine on sub-human scum.

The problem is that your "fair" punishments are letting human garbage back out onto the street. Then you blame incarceration for the problem. Here's an idea. If you can't be trusted with a gun, you can't be trusted to keep breathing. (Solves the cost issue as well, a bullet to the back of the head costs $0.25.)
