The loan is common sense. If he loses and still has cash, he's less in the hole than he otherwise would have been. Right now, Trump is 70% self funded. No other candidate even comes close. Hell, some other candidates have taken that percentage of their war chests from special interest groups. (Like Hitlary.)

Just because the Democrats sold South Vietnam down the river by arbitrarily withdrawing troops and defunding the military aid we promised them (sort of like they did decades later in Iraq and created ISIS) does not mean we lost.
