  3. Taru The point is that the source of the sample is easy to ID. Planting a cheek swab sample is impossible because the cells in the sample wouldn't be cells normally found at a crime scene.

  14. ***** ... and you think the DNA processing lab will look at an obvious cheek swab sample (HINT: The cells are rather distinctive.) and LIE that it's some sort of trace evidence? If they are going to do that, I repeat my question, why would they need DNA in the first place?

  15. ***** Not likely... The sample composition would be completely different. A spit sample contains plaque, for example. Then there's the fact that the sample is ON A CHEEK SWAB and there is no effective way to transfer it.
