  1. You can't claim to be a sovereign nation and then demand that other people clean up the mess your government helped create. Do you think all these mines were run without tribal approval? Really? Oh, and if you claim that the "Navajo Nation" is a separate political entity from the US government, then any people who reside in that nation are, by definition, not Americans.

This sweetheart deal that the tribes have been getting for decades needs to stop. It's not the job of the American tax payer to subsidize a group of people who refuse to assimilate fully into American society.
