This book saved my life seriously, the amount of years (cough cough decades) I have been chasing mental phantoms and feeling dissatisfied about not having lots of money and success is insane. I used to always think of being rich and famous ALL THE TIME and it was a way of escaping the present, It made me miserable... until I read the power of now and now I can finally live freely.

@DaughterOfWater9278 Np, I think you will do well if you discipline yourself to learn something new each day, knowledge compounds and it allows you to do things others can't over time. I know how you are feeling with the fear of missing out, I'm 28 and haven't done much in my life and I have been going on as if my life is over when in reality it's my brain playing tricks on me because deep down im super young. I have reassured myself and realized that late bloomers do exist. Khalil rafati, Rich roll, natalie jill fit is a few examples of quite famous people who started in their thirties. The brain never loses its ability to learn and adapt but as you get older you generally have more responsibilities so it becomes a bit harder, but thankfully things are a lot easier to get noticed because of the internet. Buy the book personality isn't permanent by Dr. Benjamin Hardy It will work wonders for you. His youtube channel has very short videos with hidden gems of knowledge also, he has spent over a decade researching how humans can change etc.. Very powerful stuff you will love it. Take Care :)

Yeah they do it for the attention.. Gary Vee wants to sound cool in front of his audience saying "EAT JUNK FOOD IN YOUR TWENTIES AND HUSTLE 24/7, so that after you can eat cavier for the rest of your life", yet in another interview he said he wishes he prioritzed his health. It's competition and they like things to sound better, take it with a pinch of salt.

@DaughterOfWater9278 Hi Atlas I understand how frustrating it can be, It can really make you feel empty when you aren't doing much with your life especially if you aren't succesful. You have to realize that the ego wants to always escape the now by focusing on past and future situations, and I know how easy it is to get pulled in like a riptide when the mind gets addicted to certain thoughts, I went through a period of like a year thinking of all the regrets and things I should of done in the past and it drove me insane so that's why I read power of now. I understand being present seems boring and like you aren't doing anything so that's why you need to have small goals that you can slowly work towards so that you always know you are progressing, If you think too big too soon on success then you will always stress yourself out, comparing yourself to others is like fighting the ocean, you will never win. so it's best to focus on small tasks and learn to live in the moment whilst enjoying what you do. That way it's easier to be present.

Yeah I heard that if you just run on autopilot your skill can fade over time.

I understand what you mean but this is good in a way because it refreshes your memory and helps you understand it better.
