@puraLusa Hard to feel 'superior' when you're kept in dirt poor open air concentration camp, pockmarked with enclaves of rich and aggressive Israeli settlers whose expansion you aren't even able to stop. The UN does what it can to mitigate the situation, but the economic statistics show how bad it is and a map of Israel's settlements and checkposts show why.

@ilaibavati6941 You're conveniently leaving out the part, acknowledged even in the video, about Israel acting literally counter to this supposed 'Marshall Plan' (really more a political fund meant to prop up an unpopular leader). There never was a viable Palestinian state for them to look forward to cos Israels' settlements, interference and interventions made such a thing impossible. The only ones being appeased were politicians the west pushed as leaders there, and Israel. The Palestinians were supposed to be mollified by aid money to turn a blind eye to Israeli oppression. That's not appeasing.

And we're going to pretend Israeli settlements - over half a million strong by now - had nothing to do with making the situation worse? Over 250 Palestinians were killed just this year alone BEFORE the war. Hamas' attack literally referenced Israeli crimes in its name. They aren't the ones systematically violating international law for decades, Israel is.

@yeshuaislord6880 Your 'truth' is nothing but empty conjecture. And they have plenty of reason for grievances enough to be motivated to do what they do, Islam or no Islam. Much like Algeria kicking out France or any number of other cases.

@shainazion4073 The OP talked about Palestinians in both. You people want to believe they're so spoiled, and yet I don't see you clamoring to go live there. So many free goodies and no responsibility after all...

@shainazion4073 What part of 'the OP talked about both' do you not understand? It's also telling that you're not complaining about them, probably cos that's the side you're on. Like I said, if it's so great over there, you guys should be moving over.

@shainazion4073 🙄🙄😒😒😑😑

@shainazion4073 You aren't worth wasting any more words on. Your own words are empty already.

Wtf are you on about? Hamas wasn't getting that money. The video made no such claim either. Hamas literally arose against the western installed unpopular stooge, who was getting the money to prop him up. All while Israel undermined even that goal.

@ilaibavati6941 I wasn't talking about Israel doing it, I was referring to the aid from abroad that this video talks about, whose possible benefits were anyway being countered by Israel, leaving it with little potential to achieve anything. And there is no status quo in the settlements, as they're expanding. They are a critical issue btw, as by now they've rendered the 2-state solution all but impossible. It's also worth noting that Palestine has never asked for a 'Marshall Plan' anyway. Even the aid Arafat got was voluntarily sent so as to try to secure him as the wests' chosen leader for them.

Netanyahu doesn't have a consistent strategy. He's literally the most inconsistent Israeli politician of all time. He'll do anything to keep himself in power. If he wanted to bolster Hamas he wouldn't have been sidelining them where it counts - internationally, as he sought to sideline the Palestine issue as a whole globally. It's a weakass attempt to present ye olde divide and rule as a bright new idea. It isn't, and the fact that he announced it just shows it was nothing more than a PR gimmick. As if Hamas is just going to dutifully comply with being a tool of their enemy.

@puraLusa Ah yes, not two comments in before the reductio ad hitlerum fallacy showed up. 🤣

@puraLusa Arab World for Research and Development survey of Palestinians. 65 percent said they saw the war as targeting all Palestinians, with only 18 percent seeing it as being only between Israel and Hamas. All they've done is make the conflict even more intractable.
