Neither BRICS nor Europe has expressed any interest in doing this. You guys are just tossing out provocative ideas for the views.

And on the flipside, BRICS has never asked for Europe to join it either. Its entire purpose is partly aimed at weakening Europe's influence. This is purely VE being provocative for the sake of views.

@kronos7110 As the saying goes - first they ignore you, then they mock you, then they fight you, then you win. Guess you're at stage 2..

@jackshultz2024 Iran is already in brics. And Chi and Ind haven't resolved the dispute, they've just reduced tensions by moving their forces back to where they were prior to the 2020 incident. The border is still in dispute.

@JeffPar50 You could say the same about quad, yet that doesn't stop channels like this one's sister channel VisualPolitik from hyping it up. You're just biased, wanting to see strength on your side and weakness on the other. Go ahead and discount brics if you want, but then also discount quad and most of your other overhyped security alliances too.

@thegreatdane3627 Chi isn't happy with Eur either, they literally just had trade talks fall apart.

No. The EU is about to experience a major shock with trade wars coming from both Chi and the US soon. They'll either have to open up to one or the other, or both, or see both their largest supplier and largest consumer shun them (after already losing Ru).

@looseycanon The EU is about to experience a major shock with trade wars coming from both Chi and the US soon. Coupled with losing Ru as well, this is going to seriously undermine their economies.

It's not an option. BRICS doesn't want them, as part of its goal is to weaken their hegemony too. And they literally just saw talks with Chi on trade fall through, opening the likelihood of a possible oncoming trade war with them as well.

@drscopeify Do you realize that argument is literally backwards? Per your own info, all those countries are the wests' suppliers - and you think the consumers hold power? Without the consumers they can still trade with the rest of the world, even if to a lesser extent. Without the producers you have nothing to eat. That's much harder to deal with. They don't depend on you, you depend on them.

@JeffPar50 Ofc you won't do that. I can already think of some of the excuses you'll make for quad. Just shows your bias more.
