Gonna be honest here - this felt like a hitpiece. You kept bringing up NIMBYs everytime you showed opposition to the various proposals you suggested, but not ONCE did you tell us what the Islanders themselves have said as their reasons for opposing each of those ideas. That makes it come across as just you pontificating airily about sacrifice from above (and afar). If the reasons they're opposed to those plans are poor, let us judge that for ourselves instead of substituting your voice and take for that of the people and speaking for them. There was a very clear through line of trying to demonize the Islanders throughout this video, that doesn't befit you.

@jimjohnson4072 He's right that the video wasn't objective. There was a clear attempt to demonize the islanders, and not once did we get to hear their own reasons for taking the positions they did, only how VE thought about it.

Cos of NIMBYs? VE never told us what the islanders themselves said for each of those ideas, only what VE thought about them.

@zurielsss We know they protested - we don't know WHY they protested. VE never tells us that part, only how they want to interpret it i.e. cos of NIMBYs. The reasons may have been good or bad, but VE just wanted to make them all look bad regardless instead of explaining them to us and letting the audience be the judge.
