Or are you just running off of a script designed for a standard idea of a Trump supporter. I pretty much said he had bad relations with China - Biden hasn't improved that, he's made it worse. At least with Trump it was over trade, now it's a military dispute as well. As for his business, I don't give a shit about his business. That's your problem, I'm more concerned about the world than some two-bit corruption issues. And Biden has achieved nothing with Iran because he refuses to bend - he insists on engaging with them as if Trump never happened, cos he's afraid of looking weak if he has to make any compromises. I don't blame him for that - America itself, nay the west itself, seems to have hardened their attitudes so they can't tolerate the idea of compromise anymore. Biden is merely reflecting that. Ironically refusing to compromise is a hallmark of how Trump behaved, so ironically the whole west is now recast in his image, at least in this respect. I'll say this though - Trump didn't make this all ideological, for him it was America First, Biden has. And that's bad, cos it removes the space for dialogue. This whole 'democracy versus dictatorships' schtick is both hilariously hypocritical (considering US foreign policy past and present) but also geopolitically dangerous. Moral conflicts are actual conflicts just waiting to happen. That kind of language is usually seen in religious wars, and now we're once again seeing its secular version (which was last seen during the height of the Cold War). Trumps' ideological vacuousness meant he was free to make any kind of deal, Biden is busily closing as many doors as he can. Anyway, you're too obsessed with hating on Trump to discuss Biden coherently. It seems almost as if you don't care if ppl like Biden or not so long as they hate Trump. Well Biden is president for now, so that means you've effectively got nothing to say.

  3.  @stumpe9662  His predecessor pushed for leaving Afghanistan, not Biden. Then Biden came in and mucked it up. He passed a spending bill like every other president does, they keep getting bigger every year. And I'm not sure what boon to state govts. you're referring to. The biggest boon to state govts. given recently was by the Supreme Court, and Biden is against it.

  4.  @Davyjones5454  Because of its electoral system - first past the post - naturally tends towards a duopoly. Technically America has more than two parties, but none of the others ever manage to win any elections, nor will they ever win, cos of this system.

  5. The recent turn towards Cold War era politics didn't start with Biden, it started with Trump. The new Cold War isn't about Russia, but about China. And Trump began it, with Biden continuing it cos it was one of Trumps' legacies that Americans seem to love.

  6. ​ @stumpe9662  Mate I'm not here to argue over how good Trump was. The point is Biden hasn't done anything new. He completed Trumps' withdrawal from Afghanistan, and has largely continued with Trumps' aggressive foreign policy (just with more of an emphasis on the US' allies) with the result that Ukraine is being invaded and Taiwan is at a higher risk of being attacked than ever before - none of that is a credit to Trump, rather it's a DIScredit to Biden. Apart from the stupid wall, Bidens' foreign policy has only brought the world more war. Trump ended a war, and while he did start the fight with China (NOT militarily tho) he had better relations with Moscow - Biden has managed to piss off both. Biden could have fixed Trumps' mucking up of Iran, but he's got zilch to show for on that. He's reassured the old allies sure (not any new ones tho), with the result that we're now seeing a new Cold War forming between the west and all its enemies who Biden has also united against them. Trump was 'America First', Biden seems to be 'America Everywhere' with his provocative rhetoric. As for his performance at home, you're seeing it reflected in those approval ratings.

  7.  @stumpe9662  "tried to hold the Ukraine aid in order to get dirt on biden" - boohoo, I'm pretty sure Ukraine would rather not get that aid than what it's going through now. The aid to Ukraine was a pittance compared to the reconstruction cost of the country now that it's been invaded. And you can bet Biden isn't going to pay that - cos no one is going to. The figure is massive, well beyond any aid package that either the US or the EU has ever given out to anyone. Meanwhile poor little Yemen is still being bombed to smithereens by a US ally - one that Biden claimed he was against (not for its war in Yemen mind, just cos ONE WSJ i.e. American reporter got killed) and yet just last week he was fist-bumping the guy.

  8.  @stumpe9662  Are you daft? Zelensky wants aid cos he's been invaded. That didn't happen when Trump was in power, nor look like it would. You don't get to celebrate aid given for an avoidable cause to begin with. And if I was a 'Russian stooge', I'd be calling it a 'special military operation', not an invasion. Just as with Trump vs Biden, you're too blinded with two-dimensional thinking. As if there's only two ways to see the world, akin to only two ways to be political (support Trump or support Biden). The world isn't so narrow minded as you are bub. Bye.
