@answerman9933 Idk. I just figured it out by googling what the OP wrote. I've no idea how much pull he has on the ordinary American, but for what it's worth he is big enough that he has his own wikipedia page which details quite an extensive list of his activities, including political campaigning. Was even feted by Time and Newsweek.

@flowertowerrr Lol no. If Indonesia and Malaysia decided they wished to conquer Singapore, and no one intervened, there'd be little Singapore could do to stop them. They're not trying to do so cos it benefits them more as is, but they definitely could.

@flowertowerrr The only reason they'd fail is cos the conflict wouldn't be left alone. Left to fend for itself Singapore stands no chance. They even have to rely on foreign nations for their air force lol. 😆

@@iloveevil86 Extinction? Lol, like what? Nukes? Bioweapons? Neither requires a nation to be really advanced, so that doesn't give you an edge. Rather it'd be a millstone around your neck cos it would violate international conventions and therefore invite trouble rather than preventing it. You'd end up isolating yourselves in those bunkers, as your neighbours gobble up all the trade and business that would soon bypass you as a pariah state. You're not the US or China to be able to do whatever you want and have the globe look the other way.

surinamesurname Lmao! You people see one war, that isn't even over yet, and think you know everything about Russian equipment. We've used Russian equipment for over half a century, and have a better record of wins - 4 out of 4 lol - than our enemy (Pakistan) that uses American weapons. Hell our military record is better than America itself lol. It isn't about the equipment, which is perfectly fine and currently stopping Ukraine's western supplied tanks cold. It's about the strategy of the army that uses it. Russia was overconfident and chose a poor strategy for its invasion, but their equipment has held up all over the world for over a century now. Russian equipment is also far more economical and easier to maintain, so it's well suited to drawn out conflict if needed. And btw, Ukraine is a big country - it lost about a fifth of its territory to Russia's attack. That is a far larger area than the whole of Singapore. It's also far less geographically isolated than Singapore would be, surrounded as it is by its attackers.

@dehertzbear9588 Switzerland was used as an example to show how important it is to have rich and stable neighbours, which Rwanda doesn't. Also Switzerland as an example of a service based economy is pretty bad. It has banking sure, but apart from that they manufacture and export quite a lot of actual physical stuff. Which, again, Rwanda needs its neighbours for.
