THIS is what I originally subscribed to Caspian Report for - geopolitical analysis of lesser known issues around the world, NOT repeated (and somewhat repetitive) coverage of the most trending and hot button topics in the media. It's been sad seeing this channel move away from that as time went on. Hopefully we see more attention given to stuff like this, as opposed to more bandwagon programming. If people need to hear about those popular topics, they can just turn on the news and get an earful (and then some) from the mainstream media.

  3. Enough about Ukraine, it's done to death on this channel already. BRICS in 2022 is a worthwhile topic in its own right, and there's plenty enough to cover regarding them even without the Ukraine issue.

  4.  @spacecraftcarrier4135  China isn't going to annex any Indian land - they can't and they know it. The purpose of the border tensions is to get India to allocate more of its military budget to its northern army than to its southern navy. There's very little in those lands for China, what is of far more concern to them is India's presence in the Indian Ocean. Specifically via the Andaman and Nicobar islands, which are close to the Malacca Strait. As for Taiwan, the tensions began in 2017 - nothing changed in China then (Xi came to power in 2012), it changed in America with Trump coming to power and launching an anti-China crusade (which has continued after him cos American voters loved it). That situation has remained stable for over half a century, but the Chinese are very against the US gaining influence over the region (much like Russia with eastern Europe).
