Well...getting a tan does prevent sun burn. Tanning is the body's reaction to excessive sunlight to protect itself against burning by putting more melanin in the skin. This is not to say you should deliberately lay out in the sun with no sunscreen in order to tan as a burn protectant, but "getting a tan prevents sun burn" is 100% correct.

@jshowao Just admit that you're wrong and move on.

It's not a conspiracy when you publish a long document explaining what you plan on doing.
19
Except it isn't, because that's exactly what the republican party has been doing for years. Gutting education whenever they can. Constantly promoting religious dominion. Constantly trying to put their thumb on women to force them to be baby making housewives. Massively favoring the rich and ignoring the poor to create 21st century peasants. Those have been the central theme of everything they do. Every. Single. Thing. Whenever a bill is proposed that would help all Americans, Republicans vote against it. No exceptions.
6
Except it has everything to do with him. More than 30 people in his administration had a hand in writing it, and the express listed purpose outlined on the first page of the document is to help the orange smear. The entire purpose of the document is to overcome the flaws they had in 2017 when they complete bungled the transition, so that they can enact one of the most ridiculous, hateful agendas ever put to paper. Try reading it.
5
Project 2025 was written by over 30 members of his administration. He won't endorse it because it's completely toxic. They will still implement every word of it that they can. If he gets into office, there won't be anything to stop him or the pack of sycophantic trolls he will put into government. Why would you trust the word of a pathological liar? There is nothing speculative about it.
5
You're a transphobic bigot. Just because you decided to fill your life with irrational hatred for people who have never harmed you in any way does not mean that those people don't exist or are unworthy of being treated as human beings.
4
It's bizarre that you would ever trust a single word that comes out of that orange smear.
4
Almost half of American voters think that the orange smear is qualified to be president. So there is sizable evidence to think little of my fellow Americans.
4
There is no massive crime wave. That's just what republicans say when they aren't in the Oval to scare people, because fear is the only thing they have to sell. Just like you never once heard any republican complain about the national debt when the orange smear was adding 8 trillion to it, despite making the promise during the campaign that he would eliminate the entire debt.
3
@MelFinehout You're listing a whole bunch of things that were spouted by right wing media bobbleheads in an effort to discredit science.
3
When they try to ban porn, don't say you weren't warned.
3
@jakebocskovits7426 And if he responds at all, it will be to call you one of the dumbest, most gullible people alive. Because that's what you are.
3
Almost every violent incident at BLM protests was started by police. Almost every violent incident at an Antifa march was started by the fascists which Antifa opposes. There were literal masked off-duty cops going along with BLM protests breaking windows to start stuff.
2
Thanks for illustrating the point Dave is making so cogently. You support a guy who sits on literal gold thrones and has been sued more than 6 THOUSAND times in his life for refusing to pay people that worked for him, and you actually have been duped into thinking that he stands for the little guy.
2
You should try actually listening to the orange smear speak in public. He can rarely go more than 3 sentences without either losing his train of thought, changing the subject, or mangling the English language. Every person who used to work for him has described him as having the brains of a small child. I have never in my life heard him discussing any topic where I said to myself "He knows what he's talking about". It's all random babbling, total ignorance, self-aggrandizement, and dumb lies.
2
@Auroldén You are the transphobic wretch.
2
Except he never said that. By all means - name a single right that democrats have even hinted at trying to take away.
2
Before.
2
@jonnowds Yes, in order to be a conspiracy, it needs to be done in secret. That's part of the definition.
2
@777XGang It doesn't matter if it's supported by a majority of republicans. If the orange stain gets into office, the things in there will be put into action. You won't have any input into it at all. He's distancing himself from it because it's bad optics, not because he won't do it. It's not like he has an extensive history of honesty or keeping his word. He'll tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear, and a promise from him means nothing.
2
And we know that he'll put in anti-science and anti-intellectuals because HE ALREADY DID IT. You seem to think that we live in an alternative universe where he wasn't already president and we have no basis to guess at what he will do in the future. Obama's head of the department of Energy was a Nobel prize winning physicist. The orange stain put someone in charge who forgot the name of the department of energy. This isn't a joke or hyperbole. He's a destructive menace.
2
This video was made when Biden was still in the race.
2
Show me a single republican who is not a back wood savage trying to enact the Handmaid's Tale. Just one. And it needs to be a "real" republican - not someone like Liz Cheney who was run out of the party on rails because she dared criticize the orange messiah. If the orange smear speaks his mind, then maybe you can tell me why he repeatedly refused to condemn the Klan. Because he spent 10 minutes on camera refusing to condemn the Klan over and over and over again.
2
The olympics are for the whole world, and christians are outnumbered in the world 4:1. Why should you get any special treatment ahead of the large majority of humanity?
2
You support terrorists and murderers. What a pile of dung you are.
1
When he was in office the last time, the orange stain put a guy into the EPA who has declared in public that our air is too clean and we need more pollution. But tell me again about how wrong Dave is.
1
This video is a snippet from a different video that Dave made when Biden was still the nominee.
1
@Leo___________ Whenever anyone whines about PHAYKE KNEWZ, it immediately tells everyone that whatever it is they are whining about is 100% true.
1
@asyetundetermined Professor Dave lives in California, so his lack of voting for Democrats is functionally irrelevant. In 2020, more Californians than Texans voted for the orange vomit and he still lost the state by 3 million votes.
1
No, he doesn't care. He has no beliefs. The only thing he cares about in the entire universe is himself. It's all the hangers-on who have latched themselves onto his campaign who want it, and know that if he gets into office he'll just sign whatever they put in front of him because he doesn't care.
1
So you demand that people be bound by the law and the Constitution while supporting the people who openly want to get rid of the Constitution and think their nominee is immune to all laws. Is this trolling, or are you truly one of the dumbest people who has ever lived?
1
In his first administration, the orange smear nominated a fellow named Robert Phalen to "advise" the EPA's clean air initiative. This is what Phalen said about clean air: "Modern air is a little too clean for optimum health." The advisory panel under that administration decided that no scientist who received money from the EPA could serve on the advisory board, ensuring that it was filled up with nothing but mouthpieces for industry. We don't have to wonder what the orange stain might do in office - he's already done it.
1
He wants everything to do with project 2025, he just declares he doesn't because it's terrible optics. Have you ever seen the list of 2025 authors and the positions they already held in his administration?
1
The irony is palpable.
1
Helpful tip for you: Not teaching a bunch of right wing nonsense like Moses being a founding father of America is not corruption. Complaining about it just makes you stupid.
1
@Jimbo_Conn Changing the subject, like every other coward. And nothing the UN does matters, even if we leave aside how you know nothing about either of those plans except what you were told by fearmongering right wing media bobbleheads. Project 2025 is what republicans will absolutely try to do. It's not a conspiracy. Stay on subject, if you're intellectually capable of it (spoiler alert: You're not).
1
@777XGang If you want to have a civil discussion, stop being a hateful transphobic bigot. And acknowledge at least a token amount of reality. "He's not anti-science!" you say, of the guy who suggested bleach injections to cure a disease.
1
@soonerjoose No, you're not educated and you just obey right wing media. You're exactly the person you claim to be against.
1
The segment of the video was done before Biden dropped out.
1
You have 0% understanding, and you cannot identify a single lie that he's ever told.
1
Republicans are just evil. And the orange smear is terrible for everybody. How is he good for the country? His lies? His ignorance? Everybody who has worked for him, and isn't still hanging onto his skirt for money and power says he has the brain of an 8 year old. You can tell that by how he speaks. He has never demonstrated any knowledge of any topic of national importance. No country trusts him to keep his word. There is no aspect of any part of him which is a positive for anybody but himself - because that's all he has ever cared about in his entire life.
1
It's not a conspiracy when they publish a 340 page manifesto.
