@vickieden5022 Yeah. The laws are a headache because many do gooders go down for lacking enough knowledge on the law. I don't blame him though because who feels like dealing with the possibility of a murder charge thrown at them. It's silly! If he had shot them he would be within his right back turned or not due to it being his private property like a home. And, a person can shoot indiscriminately while their back is turned. As long as their two feet were within his property, and he didn't pursue he should've been good. I'm sure I'm right on that part. However, it's a scary situation because when a person is defenseless and fleeing we're not allowed to pursue, or attack. So in this case, I'm positive the law would've backed this man because it's his business, and he didn't pursue them outside of the store. I think they could've had trespassing charges thrown at them to help save the store employer if say, he decided to shoot them, and accidentally killed them. Ppl are tired of getting robbed, and seeing ppl killed for less than 500$. That's not even rent money!

Good luck! You're better off becoming a state trooper though. I have an ex coworker I did security with at Temple Hospital who was attending school while working, and went on to become a trooper. I got to know a lot of cops both from the PPD, and the campus PD.

@josephrobinson5452 I believe so even without a license it's considered protecting his private property eventhough it's a public business. Even with their back turned in his business he had the right. Only if they made it out the door, and he followed them would it be illegal if I'm not mistaken.

@oscarjimenez7685 The criminal community of the 18% are at it as well all over Tacony, Wissonoming, Frankford, and Kenzo. They're racking up the hit and runs as well. One turned himself in for hitting that Asian lady in SP. 1 down 2 to go.
