@raven3moon deflection is all politics is now, just 24/7 people talking garbage about each other. Recently watched a discussion on this very subject, and how it mirrors 1930s Germany oddly, Lineaker would be amused. Repeat, repeat, repeat, until it becomes someone's truth and each side is totally divided, insanely repeating their opposing truths. It seems like a virus "with no pfizer cure" Debate isn't even a thing anymore. That journalism can't see where they are heading is pretty amusing. Most answers are somewhere in between two opinions, but the nutters are standing firm shouting at each other ad infinitum .

Always see people talk about Johnson being fired from the newspaper for "lying" but none of them know the "lie" .... people just latch on like lemmings, proper amusing really :) the media spoon-feed people outrage like its chocolate.

@ArtByEmilyHare You think micro-analyzing people at work until you get the result you were looking for in the first place is a cut-and-dry situation. You could apply this logic to every single person in the country, just watch them for long enough and you will find them breaking the lockdown rules..no matter how much they try to say they didn't. It's just mudslinging until something sticks because winning votes seemed like an impossibility. Rishi jumped on the bandwagon once he felt there was enough momentum to complete the undermining and enable him to go for the big job :)

@Glasgow_kiss Imagine how much would get done if governments spent all their time looking to improve the departments they are supposed to run, instead of wasting time defending noise, from the hysterical voters, and the opposition. Imagine how legitimate the opposition could look if they spent all their time talking about the policies they would implement to improve the country if voted into power. That is how people should be elected. Playing the "they are worse than use" toxic mudslinging version takes a decade to gather any momentum and is a waste of everyone's time. The irony of this era which just feeds the tabloid machine is it will turn on Labour instantly. With the demise of papers and the rise of social media, it illustrates that a large percentage of humans are programmed to act in this. almost childlike way.
