This caller sounds a bit thick perhaps he was in an overcrowded state school. Schools are already overcrowded and if a large number of children are forced to leave Private schools because their parents can no longer afford to pay for private school, where are they going to go to school if there are no places for them in state schools.

@simonjones2240 there are a number of people in private schools who will not be able to afford the extra money. When my Father was in the army I was going to go to a private school in the UK because the country he was posted to did not have any English speaking schools to send me to, he was not rich and would have had to pay for me to go there, luckily they had Armed Forces boarding schools in Germany so I went there instead, which was not the country my Father was posted to. My brother went to private school in England though because we moved quite a few times and it would have meant him keep changing school each time my Father was posted somewhere else. Our State schools already have an issue with overcrowding and have no places to take on the children that will have to leave Private schools because their parents can not find the extra money, not everyone that goes to private school is rich and a number of children go to private schools because they have learning difficulties and not all state schools provide the added help these children need. So where would you suggest that all the children forced to leave private schools go if there is no room for them in state schools.
