  1. Children should never have secrets from their parents and schools should not be encouraging children to have secrets from their parents. The parents are the ones responsible for their children not teachers

  2.  @Badtastemamma  totally agree, I always taught my son, never to keep secrets from me, whatever it was, I would not be cross or upset by anything he told me. Even now and he is 28 years old he doesn't keep secrets from me. When someone encourages children to keep secrets there is a problem
