  1. I think Rock retired the way he did in 2003 cuz he had a hunch that if he were to keep going both him and the fans would dislike it. Don't think he's wrong about that either, since a lot of guys coming up during the mid to late 00s were Rock's age so Rock probably thought he'd be in their way. Cena also caught that vibe and that's what led him to do stuff like the open challenge. Only he knew that, in his late 30s, it was time for him to give guys 5-10 years younger than him a chance. Like what Punk wanted to do, actually. If you think about it, Cena did what Punk wanted - Bring up and push younger talent.

  2. Would have been cool to see Hollywood Rock tag with Thuganomics Cena in 2003, and have THAT be the central focus of their 2011-2013 feud.
