  1. Yeah, more and more card shuffle machines are popping up. I've given up on being an AP myself. I'd rather just set amounts I'm comfortable losing, and leaving if I encounter a short losing streak. Blackjack is still way better than anything else in a casino tho, unless you don't mind playing poker for hours.

  2. A 1-8 spread with one unit being $25 is like $2 per hour. Good luck with that. I mean if your bankroll is only like $2000 or so I guess that's fine. Any REAL AP knows that in order to make REAL money with card counting you need at least a 1-10 spread, with $100 being 1 unit and at least $10000 in bankroll. I learned this the hard way ;)
