  1. Meh, I don't think he's selling a dream, but its not the most realistic thing for anybody who doesn't have a lot of money...Kiyosaki isn't corporatist enough to employ pyramid schemes. And let's face it, the original "American Dream" of "Work for the man for 40 years, get gold watch, chill until death" has been dead pretty much since the US decided that it was possible to raise taxes, steal retirement money, among other things, as long as they create an enemy to exploit." Massive federal governments have ended the American Dream in both aspects.

  2. I'd say that any legit entrepreneur worth their salt would maximize both. This way if one form of income breaks down, you'll be able to rely on the other form of income for a bit. This is what I'm beginning to do with my businesses.
