This seems kind of biased for me. She lost me when she starting talking about the same kind of stuff the Girl Power types talk about. I was expecting to hear her talk about how anybody can overcome shame, not just nonwhite chicks. Hell, she'd probably call me "part of the problem" or something by being a white dude, even though I've dealt with probably more shame than her from being sexually assaulted and being accused of harassment. Good for her for overcoming so much stuff, but I can't relate. Oh well.

I DO take some exception to the "we not me" thing. "We not me" can rationalize one to try to aggressively change others to fit ideals that you think will make society better. Contribution is nice, but there should be NO ideals about society and culture about it. A lot of us are forgetting that.

I wouldn't even bother. When it comes to charlatans (and I don't mean that as an insult) like Robbins, his free (or really cheap) content is pretty much all you need. Everything in his books Unlimited Power and Awaken The Giant Within is just as applicable today as it was 25-35 years ago.
