I mean I've been a contractor for pretty much all of 2019 (freelance writing + Uber driving) and made right around 20k last year now the government's like "yo this virus has probably cut your pay, here's 10k on us...?" No. There's no way anyone who isn't in the hospitality or travel industries is going to get that. I know who's gonna get paid first.
