  2. After working at a retail joint and witnessing parents do this kind of shit in public for nearly a decade, I've come to develop a deep cynicism for a lot of parents. What a lot of parents need to understand is that because they have a lot of power over their children (because of the dependency), they need to be very cognizant of this power that they wield. If they are not aware of this, they are abusive. ...and pretty much 85% of parents (including mine) are not aware of this. Parents are abusive by nature, and need to understand that they need to micromanage the levels of abuse that they naturally practice. Sorry not sorry. I don't want to ever be a parent for one reason: I know how abusive I can get when I have power over someone so until I can micromanage that, I am not ready to be a parent.

  3. Alex Becker calls talking about this kind of nonsense "Anger Porn." Its a pretty accurate statement, and it's quickly becoming most of our discourse online. And going into the 2020s it will become a major part of our discourse offline too. Gonna be just like the Civil Rights era only a lot less necessary, a lot more violent, and with a lot less understanding. The "assholes" that Louis is talking about here are Anger Pornographers. If I were an asshole myself I would go on my own crusade to doxx or swat those types (from any angle: tradcon, progressive, men's movements, women's movements, they are all the same), but that in and of itself is anger porn and would make me an asshole myself. So instead I'll just watch and laugh at it and seek out others who do the same.
