  1. I've seen nearly 20 different therapists in my life and tbh I treated involuntary hospitalization as a threat to scare me out of hurting myself or others. I would see that happen to someone right outside the facility yeah, got really difficult to get anything out of therapy/counseling then. Fortunately most of these sessions were cheap or free with my college tuition but still. Kinda sucks.
