  2. Cuz you don't know if the other person is also armed. In the US you pretty much need to assume that everyone around you is packing heat.

  3.  @dylan2860  Think he's right tho. Pretty sure open carry (pulling out a firearm) in any situation is 3-5 now even if you have a permit. Yeah it's really stupid but it's practically a federal law at this point.
