  1. AI alone is not why you should not bother, it's AI plus outsourcing. A software dev in India can use the ever improving AI to spit out the first iteration of the product at pennies on the dollar. Some systems that require security clearance or other in person programming will always exist. But the labor shortage of CS grads is over.
