He deserves it.

Um, He hasn't been knocked out 2 times since Conor. And I agree. At LW. that is a fight that should happen. But Conor will never do it, because he knows it won't go down the same way. Normally, that kind of fluke ending demands an instant rematch. But Conor is too much of a punk to agree to it.

I'll keep saying until I see different. He has never defended a single belt. Not a true champ. Not even remotely close to being in the conversation with GSP, Chuck, Silva, DJ or any single UFC Fighter that defended or even attempted to defend their belt at least once. Just check how many UFC Fighters have at least one successful title defense. They are all better than Conor at this point. Even the ones that have a failed title defense are better, because at least they tried. He won't even try.

Rachel Warmeant You're wrong on so many levels. First off, Boxing didn't beat MMA's best ever. Not even close. Conor doesn't have a single title defense. That being said, he would smash any pro-boxer, including Floyd or anyone in their prime within 1 round in an MMA fight. Neither Floyd or any Boxer can land their jab from their back. This was what the UFC set out to prove when it started and it proved it without a doubt. Boxers are skilled athletes not fighters.

Kiquan Ringo Because he skipped past all the top ranking mismatches at 145, like Ricardo Lamas and Frankie Edgar. And he skipped past "Everyone" at 155, like Khabib, Ferguson, etc etc to get a free title shot he in no way deserved. He lost to a good but journeyman fighter in Nate Diaz the first time, and barely won a controversial decision in their second fight. Conor is by no means a total scrub. He is good. But he is way, way, way overrated. There are at least 6 guys at 155 and 145 that could beat him. But he won't fight them. He will wait for them to fight off each other. Then pick a weaker opponent. These are not the actions of a true champ.

Yes- Obviously Ricardo Lamas - Conor isn't fighting any Flyweights, he probably can't make Featherweight anymore.

Of course anything could happen in MMA. But I would bet on any of these guys at 155 and guys at 145, Khabib, Tony Ferguson, Kevin Lee, Frankie Edgar, Lamas, etc. etc. I would have to look at the Roster for more, plus I would add Aldo could easily beat him in a rematch as well as Max Holloway.

Ahan Rajnish - Seriously? We don't have to compare it to anything. Tyron would wreck him in the Octagon. The only reason why Conor would want that fight or a 3rd Nate fight is he is too scared to lose a belt. Making him the weakest belt holder ever. Not a single defense in his life time. All great champs are judged by total number of defenses. Conor has zero. yes, he has a crap load of money, great for him. But he will never be considered a great champ till he defends his belt, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 10 times. Which he will never do because he is too scared to lose it.
