This idea that more White people are killed by cops is based on what? It's based on a Statistic. Well, let's ask some questions. How far back does that stat go? Does it go back to the 1960's. does it go back to the 1800's? I highly doubt it does. In fact, I don't think there is any official record by any police dept to record the stats of what race was shot and killed. The latest I heard was about 20% were black and 30% were white. But there was no mention of the time frame. That's also only 50%. What about the other 50%. Well about 35% of the rest are also minorities. Not black, but Mexican, Native American, Asian or "Other:" . So now we are up to 55% of minorities killed by cops. Well what about the rest? Well, the fact is the rest is unaccounted for. Meaning no one knows if they were black or white or other. The reason is, as I understand it is there is no official record enforced by any police dept. on what race they shot. So the remaining percentage is unknown. So we have 55% of minorities shot by cops, 30% white and the rest "Unknown" because there is no official record. So the bottom line, anyone that that tries to throw out the stat that more white people are shot by cops than black people is a completely disingenuous argument. It's a complete misrepresentation of the stats to support their agenda.

@khronin Do you have multiple creditable sources for these Stats that go back to the 1900's? - And I don't understand the point about Democratic Controlled Cities. Are there groups of people saying that only Republican Controlled Cities are killing Black people? I never said or implied that at all. So that's just irrelevant to the topic at hand. But even for arguments sake. If it were true, of course more white people would be killed by cops. They make up 85% of the population. And if you think White Cops in Georgia or the deep South were accurately keeping records of Black people they shot....I don't think this conversation can continue if you are going to be that disingenuous.
