  1. I agree. But I think they are primarily referring to dramas and not comedies, especially Network Comedies. Those can go on forever. Then add in Animated comedies? How long has South Park, Simpson and Family Guy been on? I don't think they apply to the conversation.

  3.  @mark33850  "It's pretty good"??? What?. 90% of the show is watching some ugly chick sit on the end of her bed with a weepy look on her face while some melodramatic music is playing. And oh my God, I really hope they are paying the poor guy that has to be her love interest buckets of money. If I was him, I would be demanding for CGI to be used for the sex scenes, or for the use of a stunt double. I like the concept of how the events of this show got to where it is. But it would be a better show if it was about how it got to where it is and not all the pseudo religious crap that happens once they do. A show about how the coup actually formulated, took place and succeeded would be much better than watching Elisabeth Moss cry while sitting on a bed, or laying on the floor of a closet. You can totally tell it's a show written by a Woman for Women. I could tell it was written by a woman just by watching it, before I even knew for sure. I gave it a shot, but gave up and really don't care what happens to anyone in the show.

  4. That's an issue for anyone with any knowledge of a certain subject. I get super annoyed watching shows about guitar players and he bullshit they do. Same goes for Scientists, Actual Race Car Drivers, Divers, people with experience in electronics, etc, etc.

  5.  @SilkySkill  I have stopped watching it regularly a long time ago. But when I do tune in, it seems like basically the same show. If anything, real life is more insane now than South Park. Making it hard for South Park to exaggerate the issues in the World, because the real issues exceed even what they imagined.

  8.  Playlist Dealer  I tried, Playlist. I really tried, because I was totally down for a show where the Government instituted Martial Law and then never lifted it and what led to that (Now more than ever, that is something I can see happening). And I did give it more than a fair chance, and I honestly would have stopped watching sooner if I was watching alone, but once I saw it was just a show to tug on Women's heart strings I was out. Even if it led to a divorce, I was out. It didn't, because my wife didn't fall for it either. It just took longer because she is a woman and this show is made for woman. But She is done too.

  9.  @dylanzrim1011  You're right. Some are good. I didn't mean to imply all guitar or music related movies are bad. I am only referring to the ones that are. Obviously if they get it right I would have no reason to complain. It's only when they don't, that the musician, scientist, fighter, doctor etc have an issue. But if they do it right you won't get any complaints from me or anyone else, I would think.

  13. Yeah, Breaking bad is good, except for the fact that somehow all these people are scared of a middle aged man dying of cancer. Once you get over that, it's good. And once Gus dies, there really is no good villain . Yeah, the Nazi's are bad, but after Gus, they really don't match up, other than just being ultra violent. But there is no intelligence to anything they do and it makes them extremely uninteresting. The show would have been better if they found a way to wrap it up and Hank finding out and Walt killing Gus and the season ends.

I am simply talking about hardened Cartel killers that have melted bodies in barrels being worried about this guy. So what, he can cook meth that is 99%.. As Jesse said "So what, it's not like wer have a discerning clientele" (or something to that effect) Gale could easily make Meth extremely close to that quality without any of the hassles. Being the Smart man Gus is portrayed to be, he would have just killed Walt and Jesse and used Gale. When it comes to Meth, there is very little difference between 94% and 99% pure. Both can be cut to the bone for street level meth and none of the customers would complain. It's not like there is a customer complaint number to call if you're unhappy.
