@jackjon7763 You're right. They are not the same. But a case could be made that long term psychological torture is actually far worse to a person long term. IE: John McCain will being physically tortured, was able to mentally continue and still succeed at life. While many that suffer the psychological versions may never recover.

This guy was never actually Water Boarded without the knowledge that it would definitely stop if he wanted it too. That is a where the entire gap lies from Torture or "Torture Like" experience. It's like I experienced the Torture of having my thumbs in a vice, but I did it knowing the second it hurt too much I could say stop and it would.

@cockyrooster361 There is also a difference between forcing someone into a 3'x3'x3' box and putting them in the hot sun for days vs ripping their fingers off. I mean, this shit sounds like Vlad the Impaler debating if it's worse to saw someone in half when hanging by their feet, Or suspend them and stick a wooden stake up their ass until they slowly impale themselves as they gradually lower down. Sure, one is probably worse than the other. But the fact someone in the US Military is even debating this kind of shit without acting like it's totally insane, shows the US is the Evil Empire the Rest of the World accuses it of being. It's just that Americans haven't been aware. And now that they are, there are 2 factions. The ones that are totally fine with it and the ones that say, if we do this shit, what makes us any better?

@usa5439 Well for one thing Homelander. It's done for no other reason than to find if they are actually a Terrorist or not. And if they determine they aren't, it's like "Oops, are bad, sorry about that" But guess what - You just created a terrorist that didn't exist before you water boarded the fuck out him. What would your Attitude be toward a Country that water boarded you when you did nothing wrong and did nothing against them, but they water boarded you anyway? Would you just be like "No problem bro, shit happens, I get it, you got a job to do, we're good. Thanks for the water boarding, I'll just go home and assume the USA is super great". Can you people not add 2+2?

This guy is the Epitome of (And he himself even uses the phrase) If you'r a Hammer everything is a Nail. This guy sees himself as a hammer and every problem is a nail and the only solution is to drive it into the ground. Let alone the fact that he criticizes various Terrorists groups because they intentionally go after poor young men to recruit them. You know who else does that? THE US MILITARY. At some point Joe Rogan needs to have someone with an opposing view on these podcasts that can stop and say "Whoa Wait a second, let's examine that". Joe himself even criticizes Flat Earth videos for the same reason, they just spew a bunch of info, with no other person that has knowledge on the subject being able to interject and say "Whoa Wait". There are many, many people that are willing to go on Joe's Podcast simply because they know they will not have to defend their platform from any other informed person. So they can just spew and spew and Joe and can be like "Hmm, interesting".

Hmm - Tim Kennedy talking respect about John McCain with respect. That's the same guys Trump said "He doesn't consider people that got captured a hero". Any mention of this on the Podcast?
