@ghostf6321 You say that as if having a Job is optional in the US. Unless you own your own company (Which is impossible for the entire Country) you have no choice but to select the best job available. That doesn't even get into the fact that your health insurance is typically linked to your job and if gone without it. Plus any company can fire you at any time for whatever reason they want. Yes, America is a democracy when it comes to selecting Politicians. But when it comes to employment, it's a bunch of small Tyrannies that can first you at any time, demand what they want from you and if you fight back, you'll probably be fired (Because there is a "Lack of work") People aren't the "Poor Employee's that volunteered to work for a specific company. In most cases, they have no other choice. Otherwise they have no serious paycheck, no serious healthcare and no chance of any retirement. I'm not focused on Whole Foods. This is about the US as a Whole, not this Particular Employer. He may be great to work for, I have no idea. But that is beside the point, that unless you run your own company, you need to work for someone that has total control of your livelihood. There are Unions. But they are not nation wide across all industries. And in many cases they are extremely corrupt. Your concept of volunteering to work vs having no choice to work to pay your bills are different things.
