  1. They have always taken time to travel. They just don't show the trip because it would be boring to watch people walk or ride for a month. The producers have said all these events are shown in one episode, but it doesn't mean they are happening at the same time in real time. The one big one that doesn't make any sense is Gendry getting back to the wall, a Raven going to dragonstone and Dany getting back beyond the wall in one night. That was bad.

  3. He needed him to come back once Dany was available with a Dragon. So that way he could get a Dragon and take down the wall. I guess there is a lot in the books that suggest the Knight King has the same powers as Bran. So this has all been a part of his plan to take down the wall. It all happened on purpose to get a Dragon and Take down the wall.

  4. Well, yeah, he was still alive, but was he being directly controlled by his WW creator still or was he just an dead dude acting on his own now that he was far away from his creator. We don't know. We only know if the creator WW dies, his creations die. But there hasn't been anything to suggest that they will die simply because they got too far away. Unless I am totally wrong. Which is a complete possibility.

  5. True they did. But they didn't say why. Maybe they just didn't want to get their feet wet. And even if they could swim, they couldn't out swim a boat. So really, what would be the point of going into the water at that point?

  6. They didn't try to out swim boats. A, they couldn't do that even if they could swim and B, that wouldn't fit into the Knight Kings bigger plan of getting a Dragon to take down the wall. But if I recall, some seemed to come back to life from within the shallow water the people died in. it didn't seem to bother them
