  1. Why not follow the science, why follow the data? Instead, what do they do? Enforce rules for the sake of enforcing rules. It's not based on science, it's something closer to dogma/religion. Just check the hard data on mask wearing outside, it's an even bigger factor when the weather is hot sunny weather. It's so clear that the virus spreads indoors in certain specific situations. Nobody in Europe wears mask for awhile now, yet hospitals are not filled, nor did we see masses of dead people. The latest data on variants says they're all very mild. I had it recently, it's was a really bad cold, but isolated, it passed and I want back to work after my dokter told me it was fine. Sooner or later you need to continue life as normal. I really get the feeling that some Japanese think Japan somehow is superior to everyone else and that is big mistake.
