  2. Communication is key, doesn't matter what country. I do feel like Japan has extra barriers due to cultural reasons. That women who doesn't want to divorce, she's being selfish and it won't end up well for her or for her child. Again communication is key, just talk it out. Live separately, the dad can still support his kid financially, at worst keep telling people you're still married and divorce later on. Don't live together with somebody you hate.
