Do note, the reason why there's very few Latinos in Japan, Japan is kind of expensive and Latinos don't usually earn that much. Every single person here I can tell, either came from rich parents or they had some exceptional reason why they could afford to go to Japan. I would say most latinos cannot afford to visit Japan, the few that do, like I said, would very likely be the more wealthy type. It's pretty normal for me to see very few Latinos in Japan.
I'm Chilean myself, come from a poor family, but I can afford to go to Japan, because I live in Belgium where salaries are way higher and I got a good education here. If I look at most of my family in Chile, my guess is very likely, very few could afford to go to Japan, most will probably never be able to afford it.
Something else I can tell, these people are wealthy or well educated => latinos who speak english are either Mexican or just well educated, if you forget about Mexicans, the rest of Latin Americans, it's extremely rare to find anybody who speaks English, not just that, here some I noticed speak very well, that is even rarer.
It's not just that, it's also how they behave. Being latino myself, I can safely say, yes some of the stereotypes are true, like it's poor and sadly yes Latin America does have a lot of crime, but at the same time, Latinos are very kind and very family oriented, it's a very social type of people.
Very nice to see my people, thanks for the interview!

The most important is to be open minded about new experiences. The cultural barrier is a real thing, the more videos like these I've watched, I eventually realised I very likely could never be together with a native Japanese woman, the chances would be extremely low, I might be overthinking it, but the language & cultural barrier would be hard to overcome.
Full honesty: I don't think the majority of the Japanese population is open minded enough, just take the fact that most Japanese parents would prefer their daughter to marry their own nationality.
I've lived most of my life being brutally honest, I want to be rational. It's not about right or wrong, it's about doing what's best.
Some people have a problem with it and my close friends love me for those qualities.
Only a few of these woman gave correct answers and they would be a decent match for a foreigner.
While watching the interview, I saw many red flags. I don't think they did it on purpose, but many of these woman just come off as Gaijin hunters, they seem to just want to use a foreigner.
I've travelled a fair bit, there's good & bad people in every country, there's beautiful & ugly people everywhere, each country has their own culture but at the end of the day people are just people.

I think you're spot on about Japan being a country for tourism but not so much for residence (for foreigners at least). Cultural misunderstandings... I've talked to enough Japanese people to get into those situations, speaking the language helps, but you also need to understand their culture, that may even be as or even more important. As for Dating in Japan, I will admit, it's different than here, but I also think japan adds an extra set of layers of difficulties to the concept. Now it's good that you make videos like this one with a realistic approach, I find it really silly how people think dating will automatically mean you'll find a good partner, when that sort of thing happens naturally whether you want it or not. You don't choose to meet the love of your life, it just happens (or it doesn't). The best approach to dating in Japan is probably to just go to Japan and not expect anything, just let it happen, whatever ends up happening.

I think it's not about control, but about leading. In the vast majority of relationships, not all, but most of them, the guy has to lead and the woman prefers it. Even with a strong personality, that doesn't mean you're automatically a (good) leader. When you have control imposed by force, that's not good at all. When you lead well, the person following you enjoys it. From what I see in all interviews on Dating in Japan, girls like the guy planning the date, that's not control per se, that's just planning & leading the date. Control is done by force, leading is done by example, it is gentle in principle.

I don't mean to be rude, but these type of interviews are always so incredibly shallow and completely unrealistic.
Amercans/English are "gentlemen", they're skinny, they're hot. I love going to the UK, never been to the USA yet, but talked to plenty of Americans; Go check football hooligans, you'll see some english ones, they're nuts, they are the polar opposite of gentle. Finding somebody extremely rude is quite easy in the UK, as for people in the USA, yeah talked to plenty of people who just seemed like "aliens". I don't think some people get how different American culture is from the Euro culture and even that isn't fair, culture is different from euro country to euro country, because of the simple reason that they speak different languages and are completely different.
There's beautiful & ugly people everywhere, Europe, USA, Japan, doesn't matter where.
As for the USA, realize that 70% of US men are Obese, that's not just a little, that is severely overweight.
As for muscles, honestly here in Europe, it's not exactly common to find a guy with a big chest and big arms, most people don't work out, lots of overweight people, lots of out of shape people.
This whole thing is about as absurd as saying: all japanese women are beautiful & thin, you know very well that's not true. I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just making a point.
I just wish people were realistic, but I guess they would rather live in a dream.

I think Japan has deep issues to deal with and their porn industry is only a symptom, not the cause of the problems (for the most part, in come exceptional cases they probably are). When you make sex a taboo subject, that is never a good thing, balance is key, don't doo too much or not enough of it (discussion the issue & regulating it). Setting aside all that, purely my personal opinion, fully admitting consuming porn and reading ero manga, I think the Japanese porn Industry is pretty messed up, they go to places other countries don't go, some dark subjects are too common. I know it's a different cutlure, but still, I actually looked into some of these differences and there's some links to actual problems, like so many sexless marriages and lots of singles (& virgins) create a lot of problems, people are really frustrated. I mean at times I watch this porn or read this ero doujinshi and finish the story thinking: wtf is wrong with whoever wroter this? Seriously. Again, mostly symptoms rather than a cause, probably the whole thing is one of the causes of suicides, very likely there's some link, same goes with Chikan, which happens in other countries 2, but seems to be worse in japan amongst the civilised countries.

One of the most realistic videos, got a lot of decent opinions.
I still think they have a distorted view of "Western" men, they expect way too much, they also base their opinions too much on movies (those who havn't travelled abroad)
During the entire video, I wondered: ok sure, but what do you bring to the table? Some women have high expectations, looking for the prince, yet they are very far from princesses themselves.
Some People will call me an asshole, but here's my honest opinion on what Men expect from their Woman: be pretty, be loyal, be submissive and don't cause problems for your man.
That's the trade off we want for all your demands and all your expecatations.
Men don't care about your degrees, don't care about how much you make, don't care about you being independant.
A women could be working at MCdonalds earning minimum wage, if she is super hot, men will want her.
Personally, the one thing that bothers me most about Japanese women isn't the culture or the language barrier, it's something that didn't come up first here: how much the guy makes.
I've heard from plenty of guys who dated in Japan: it's one of the first questions asked. That really makes them seem like golddiggers which is such a turn-off.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
It is pretty clear which ones are open to this idea and who aren't. The ones open minded enough are the only ones who have a decent shot to date & marry a Westerner.

One thing I do wonder about, do 100% Japanese people like the honne vs tatemae culture? You mentioned Japanese people who speak English, generally are more open and that's true, i've met such people. But then the Japanese people who only speak Japanese and never travelled, I do wonder, are they happy with that aspect of their culture?
Along the same lines, would be good to see, if people are even happy with their own culture, but again, the one aspect that bothers me the most about Japanese Culture is the tatemae, it just bothers me when people are "fake". In Europe, you act fake, that's a giant red flag, if one of my friends does that, I might actually break off the friendship if he keeps doing that.

Another great video Nobita-san. I related to a lot of these points, I'm Chilean living in Belgium for most of my life. I speak Spanish, it was the first language I learned, but here's where it gets really complicated; here in Belgium half of the country speaks French, the other half speaks dutch and in the capital you meet a lot of English speaking people, either they're American/British or they're just from some other foreign country. I live in the middle of you country, I basically had a lot of exposure to both languages, in fact I went to school in French at first, then switched to Dutch. Sounds complicated? There's more => this country has roughly about a 35% of the population either direct immigrants or second/third generation immigrants, in practice this means you get to experience a lot of different cultures. Basically in my own case I speak fluently 4 languages (+ some basic Japanese & basic German, there's a germanic part of Belgium too) and in my daily life, I some times am around very different people with different backgrounds. I mean at my own work we got like 20 different nationalities and in practise that takes some adapting. I don't really feel Chilean, when I'm in Chile I'm seen as the foreigner even though I can write & speak the language fluently (I just got a different accent, because of my parents), as Belgian we don't feel proud either, that's just not a thing here. On paper I am both Chilean and Belgian (got both nationalities), but I don't think I feel like half or anything like that, nationality or culture doesn't really matter to me. One last thing I'd like to share: I kinda look white, kinda, but in practice I've had direct discrimination to soft discrimination based on my look. The thing is, I got green eyes, dark hair and I'm 5 7, which is short for europeans it gets weirder with my beard, it has patches of blonde with some very light brown and some black at the edges, it kinda looks scandinavian I've been told. Basically Europeans "notice" I'm not really "from here". I've been called many times by racist pricks, funny enough even been called Japanese & Asian (not that farfetched I got some Asia genes in my ancestry, some direct family members could easily pass as Asians). I'm curious to see how Japanese will react to a person like me, I bet they'll be really confused, even more confused to see me speaking some Japanese :p. (I'm working on improving it)

Here's the thing on female companionship and sex: consider it a bonus in life, under no circumstance should you make it a life goal of yours. Work to improve your own life, that 100% needs to be your primary goal in life. Do stuff that's fun, try to have a good life basically, with or without a girlfriend, either way works.
That guy, I'm not fat shaming, he should lose the weight, get in shape. Not saying this to get girls, though indirectly it would attract women. Same as above, work to improve your own life, the guy is smart, why not improve his body as well? He's a comedian, he's funny, he seems confident, I'm pretty sure if he lost the weight, he would get women without even trying.
Why should he lose the fat and get in shape? Purely for himself, if he gets a GF, that's a bonus. There's too many bad consequences from being this overweight.
As for the virgin thing, it's not only in Japan, we're seeing spectacular numbers in the West as well. I actually started to encounter people IRL who openly would state they're virgin, those I know are actually past 30, going towards 40. It's not just a problem in Japan, brithrates are pretty terrible in the West, the only thing that saves the West is immigration, immigrants tend to have a lot more kids.
Dating is hard in the West for Average guys, it's super easy for the top 20%. In Japan, from everything I know, I would say it's even harder and one of the reasons is because Japanese women have even higher expectations than in the West.
This is not a good thing, men aren't happy, but women aren't happy either, it's a worldwide problem. Depression rates are sky high, never been this high. Divorces are higher than ever, if you leave out older generation, it's extremely rare that a marriage lasts, it's a pretty low %. Another contributing factor that women don't expect to matter, but it does: women, at least in the USA, are usually who demands a divorce (roughly 70% of divorces), higher educated women have an even higher % of getting divorced.
The number of single moms is pretty spectacular and it keeps growning.
Now, Japan itself, if you check the depression rates, they've never been this high, they're even higher amongst women, to add to that, check the suicide stats during covid, it's mostly women.
Both the West and Japan need to change their dating culture or both will end up in a very bad place, Japan seems worse off in the short run.

@xDukii I think you're trying to blame the wrong cause for this problem, their Work culture is a way bigger issue and in many cases it's the exact cause of sexless marriages & sexless single people. I feel like you're convinced porn is the cause when that is not the case nor can you even prove it's the source. Porn doesn't break up families, it really doesn't, porn doesn't make people emotionless, I have no clue why you even think that is even possible. Loneliness and depression has much deeper roots. Porn isn't all bad, some people just use it to let off some steam, I mean, I watch porn while dating/while being in a relationship, I got a high sex drive and when the girl isn't around wtf do I do? I just watch some porn to get off, simple enough. I think Japanese culture in general makes it kind of hard to date and from what I'm seeing, it's becoming harder and harder. You don't have to agree with it, but I feel like a lot of women in Western countries and probably in Japan too put their expectations of men too high. Trying to control & censor sexuality never ends well, you gota accept it's part of society, it's not all bad, it has some positive aspects, I really feel like some people just refuse to look at porn objectively and just see is as taboo. Close-mindedness is a lot more dangerous than porn will ever be. How would I fight all the problems in Japan (, including porn)? Simple, give people proper education, but probably their biggest issue is their work culture which has many roots in their culture and many other problems linked to it.

I'll be purely rational and to some people it will come as brutal perhaps rude, but here it is:
She never loved her husband, it's painfully clear she never did. She never had genuine desire for her husband and frankly speaking, if the sex with him is bad, it means they're not really compatible.
She married way too young, this is a mistake way too many people make. Opposites do attract, but still need great chemistry & compatability, you need to have things in common for the relationship to work out.
It's perfectly fine to be a nympho as long as you don't overdo it, by that I mean; don't end up in the hospital. Personally that is something I can relate to, as I still have a extremely high sex drive as well. It's fine to explore your sexuality, but that comes at a price, it's a different price to pay for men vs women.
Plenty of studies have gone into the subject of peer bonding. It's a sad reality that men and women are not the same when it comes to sex. She very likely slept with so many men, that she is incapable of forming a true deep bond with somebody. The way she talks about her son is not very motherly and I kind of feel bad for the husband. I feel like she only got with him because it was covenient, she has to face the fact that she is using him and it's very likely that he likes it that way. I truly hope she never watches porn with her son, that would be going too far, it's fine with the husband, he's that type of guy, I'd actually involve the husband in her porn, he might learn something from it.
Very interesting interview and she, as a person is very interesting. The one thing I noticed is how she doesn't seem to think like most Japanese people and that is refreshing.
At the end of the day you got to accept yourself. She's not a bad person, but her situation is anything but rational.
I do think it's important to have to regrets in life, I'll wish her the best, though her luck might run out eventually.
The list of Porn stars Notiba knows keeps growing and growing lol. This is a fascinating subject, keep doing these type of interviews Nobita-san!

I really hope she finds what she is looking for, honestly, I'd hang out with her, I've seen some of her longer recent interviews, she's a really fun person. I do think it's going to be a hard ride, people still recognize her, she kind of has to embrace that part of her life, it's never going to go away (at least not any time soon, while she still is recognizable). Dating her, I will admit sounds really hard to do, it's going to take a special guy for her, there's so many obstacles to overcome, my guess is very likely she probably should aim for a foreigner that's more open than your average Japanese guy. Something about this interview and others I've seen, I feel like she is very lonely as a person, though that is only a guess of mine, I'm not judging. Again, I really do hope she finds love, she deserves it, she's an awesome person.

@AnnaKaunitz I sincerely hope you're not a white person lecturing me about my own culture. Latinos or latin Americans is everyone from South and central America. Spanish are european, but the Spanish Language is a Latin language. Guess what, Roman people spoke >> latin, which transformed into Spanish, french, Italian, & a couple or Roman/Latin Languages. And yes it's a reality, whether you go to spain or to france, you won't find too many people who speak English, even harder to find people who speak it fluently. I got countless french & spanish friends, where I live I get to meet people who all over the world, including many many latinos. It's a bit like Japan, sure there's some people do speak english, but it's pretty rare. The real problem is the fact that Learning a Germanic language like english is very hard on a Latin language speaker. The fact that education is not very good in South America doesn't exactly help either. Like I said, it's mostly well off people, I'm very familiar with this subject, it just is what it is. Education is often one major factor. I mean, here you have english classes at a high level from age 10-12 to 18 and past, At University most of my classes were in english. Most of my French friends either never had any english classes or they have 2 years of lousy english and didn't learn a damn. It's a pretty similar situation in Spain. In Netherlands or Germany on the other side, they also learn english early on, but it's also a Germanic language and it's easier for them to learn, same goes for Scandinavians. I speak Spanish, English, French, Dutch, bit of German, bit of Japanese and technically Latin too (yeah very useful knowing a dead language), I get to interact with all these cultures.

Very interesting to see this perspective. I didn't fully realize it's harder to teach your kids Japanese than other Western languages. I'm Chilean, moved to Belgium, I always spoke spanish with my parents and I've always had a fair amount of spanish speaking contacts, basically meaning that I have plenty of opportunities to practise it. Spanish is my mother language, but here I also learn french and dutch and in highschool I got English too. (got some basic german too and I know some basic Japanese, hence why I'm here) To speak, that was easy for me, writing these languages was the harder part, in the last couple of years I even had spanish, meaning that's where I finally learned to properly write Spanish though I wouldn't say I have a good lvl, it's decent at best, but I can read just fine. I do have the luck of having the same Western alphabet for all these languages, kanji that's a whole other thing, I get the feeling even Japanese living in Japan struggle with it at times. Tv is in english here and I got access English speaking friends too, which in practise means in a single day I may end up speaking Spanish, french, dutch and English. I'm even lucky enough to have friends who speak all 4 of these languages and that is pretty hilarious to see, we can switch in between languages depending on the mood. The dreaming part is very interesting, in my case I speak all these languages fluently, to me it doesn't matter one bit which one you pick, going back to the dreaming part => I can dream in either of these languages. Each language is very different even within the same mind you just don't think the same way. There's some words and some concepts that just aren't the same. I think some people underestimate the cultural attachment there is to a language, as a japanese speaker you should know how important it is to know the cultural background to certain words & concepts, I think it's even more important in Japanese than in other languages. You can apply a similar logic to other languages. I've read studies on this subject and yeah it does seem like a different language also means a different way of thinking and expressing yourself. To give you a small example, french vs dutch culture is warm vs cold, dutch folk though usually friendly are a bit colder, less tactile than the french counterparts. I mean the basic way to greet, in the french part you kiss on the cheek, while in Flanders you either just shake hands or just nod at each other. When meeting new people, french folk will instantly act friendly and be open, while dutch will be more reserved and wait a bit to open up. Spanish culture and to be more accurate in my case Chilean culture is a whole other thing, same goes with English culture which in my case adapt to who I'm speaking to. I'm basically a mess of cultures and languages, I think I adapt to whoever I'm with, otherwise I don't really have a default mode. Looking back I did know these 2 (crazy) Japanese sisters and I can only imagine how hard it was for them to grow up here, they probably also struggled with Japanese, I know they did speak Japanese with their parents, not sure when they arrived here though.

As with so many of Nobitas videos, at the very base this is a social problem and there's much resistance to solving this problem because of how Japanese society/culture is structured.
Purely from my personal experience, I've never paid for sex, but I have had one nighters and though they feel nice, nut the best sex is when the girl really but really wants you. You be the prize, let her ask you out, let her confess to you, let her pay/make dinner for you. This is something a lot of guys will never have btw.
How do you get to this point? Be the best man you can be, work on yourself to keep improving your mind & body. Basically work on your body to look your best & find a well paying job that you enjoy doing and girls will flock to you. Let the girls chase after you.
I can't imagine the girls enjoying this sex or they don't realize there's a better version of the same concept. Let's face it, most of these girls don't want to fuck these guys and it's just a performance for them. It may still feel nice, but it's not as nice as the real deal. It's just not the same as Sex with somebody you love and have good chemistry with, somebody that has proven over the years you can trust and has your back, this just so rare and that's why it's so precious. Sooner or later they'll start to realize what they're missing in their life => genuine love. When they finally realize this, that's when depression hits.
As for husbands/boyfriends not enjoying sex with their wives/girlfriends, that's just basic biology telling them: you're not compatible. Either talk it out and try to fix it, but in many cases just break up, you're not biologically compatible and you need to accept this fact.

Been single forever, I had 1 longtherm relationship, it didn't work out, it's fine, I had a couple of flings here and there, nothing serious.
I keep myself busy with lots of hobbies, life is sweet because of the following fact: sure "love" is a nice feeling, but the worst I've ever felt was always due to a girl. There's ups & downs to love, the downs really suck. Now I haven't given up on dating, I'm just living my life, whatever happens. Yes I'm never getting married, that's for sure, in this country you really don't need to.
I think your second part hits home, keep yourself busy, no gf? Just hang out with friends, hang out with whoever. You don't need a gf or wife, but you certainly do need some social interactions.

@AnnaKaunitz What good to you think will come from just ignoring reality and facts, you're just jumping to insult random strangers? It's a fact that both, France and Spain don't have much or any English classes in most of their schools. Doesn't matter what you opinion is, I live here, I go to spain, france often, besides where I live, like half of the cars here got french plates, you go into town and you hear Spanish on every corner. Either I've been on holiday or I was working, in main europe and I just live in it. Your opinion won't change the reality of the education here. Wallonia and France roughly got the same problems with English classes, too few of them or just no English classes, meaning in Holland or Flanders we get English early. Again, don't try to lecture more on my own culture. You can disagree, but at least be factually correct, you're not even close to being correct. I'm surrounded by French, spanish & latinos in my daily life, I keep meeting more every year. I've actually seen their textbooks and classes, it's a subject I've discussed plenty of times before. Do you realise that you're acting like a stereotypical spoiled white girl in the post above? That's not the part that pisses me off though. Your opinion is so far for reality that it's absolutely ridiculous you're even trying to lecture people. I hang out with people of all kinds, unlike you I don't care who I speak to, why do you even remotely think that speaking to "drops outs" is a bad thing? Most of my close friends are all Univeristy educated, I went to a good school and a good university, so what. This type of elitism is absolutely ridiculous in the year 2022, yet people like you still exist. You think you're better than uneducated people? Ridiculous.

I'm never ever getting married, in Belgium, it's not needed, it's fine, it's not the norm, but it's pretty common, more common in newer generations, people are together, faithfully with kids, but not married and it's fine. A couple of years ago I started to ask people around me about prenups and it turns out all my friends had prenups, 2 of my friends got married (same couple), they got a prenup.
A girl opposes a prenup, that is a major red flag, just like another fact that I would never agree to: parents disapprove of your future wife, my younger self would get angry, etc... but my current self: ok mom, you're right, she's not for me.
As said, prenups don't deal with kids, ever. Prenups have to be written by a qualified lawyer, they will remain valid, contrary to internet beliefs. Now granted, there are states that are more favorable for fathers, but I get the feeling you wouldn't want your son to move far away.

Japan & Korea aren't the worst countries, Russia & China are way worse, they will be collapsing faster than everyone else.
Europe & USA are holding mainly because of their immigrant population, but USA is different than Europe and within Europe you have some countries that are doing a bit better with their birthrates.
Now, the West will come after Japan & Korea, it will be very bad.
I don't think politicians & world leaders even realise the consequences of not having a working population & having too many elderly people.
We may be heading towards either a major economical collapse or something even worse.
Some people have already done the math, these a huge population that's about to go into retirement, while at the same time birthrates in the 2 newest generations are catastrofic. The next 20 years will be very ugly for humanity. If it continues like it is now, it's even worse than most people realise. Again, more and more people will retire, in Japan, in the West, there's a huge working population of people over 45, those same people will retire in 20 years, but there's no replacements. The last 2 generation barely had any kids, the generation before that had a bit more, basically we'll be a major drop in working people, but the more time passes, the worse it will get, untill the economy collapses and then possibly everything else falls apart.
It's worse than you realise, we're already seeing the consequences right now, it's not just in Japan where they find old people dead, alone at home for weeks, months to some times even years. In my own area, this old lady was dead in her garden for 2 weeks till somebody tried knocking on her door, to later find her in the garden. While healthcare is better, care for the elderly is only getting worse, it's getting more expensive and less effective. Currently, most young people don't want to take care of old folk, but there will be more and more old people to take care of. Now let's go back to those retired people and all the old people in general, there will be a lot of them, it will be a huge percentage of the population and eventually they will die. We'll see a gradual drop in population in many countries and those people won't be replaced, the economy depends on a sustainable population, because it won't get any support it's bound to collapse.
As far as China & Russia is concerned, those countries will either collapse or have some major changes within the next 10 years, going 10 to 15 years we'll see some major problems in the West. By the time we reach 2043, the entire world might be in big trouble. The worst predictions say humanity will end, the least bad preditions are still pretty bad, the world will change whether people want it or not.
In Japan, the birthrate is to blame on women, but also on men, it's also to blame on stubborn politicians, it's also to blame on society and for sure it's to blame on the toxic workculture.
Some big changes are needed, or the consequences will be extremely harsh.

You can 100% be angry at how negationist Japanese are about their WWII history. Deny the facts all you want, but they exist and they are well documented. Japan did many horrible things during WWII. I don't think it's fair be angry at current Japanese people, though there's lots of problems in your society, this entire channel exposes a lot of those same problems that need some fixing, but old WWII grudges should be set aside for another discussion.
As for Korean society. I'm not racist, never will be, but I'm not a giant fan Korean society. Treating girlfriends like a princess results in a really toxic relationship for both parties, on the one side it creates insane expectations for the woman/girl and on the other side the guy is treated really badly, this is the perfect ground for the women to make impossible demands and even get angry at them. Women in the West already have high expectations, but this is another level.
There's also the make up culture, fashion & plastic surgery being really common. What's so wrong with natural beauty?
Dating in Korea sounds really toxic, it's no wonder the suicide rates are so high and marriage rates are so low.
Unless they want these 2 trends to keep going, they'll have to make big changes to their dating culture.
There's a culture shock West vs Japan, but West vs Korea I feel a bigger culture shock.
I hope you don't take my opinion too harshly, I got no bad intentions posting this. Feel free to disagree and let me know.

1 big flaw in this interview, in part due to the interviewer => Why not go into the actual science? I'm talking going deep into the subject, I've seen Chris do it in previous interviews.
This whole thing sounded too much like bro science. There's several parts I simply didn't buy, but I remain open to any science and I will look up other interviews hoping to find her talking science.
I can't justify getting a book if it's bro science, once convinced, then it's a whole other matter.
She was just telling him all these "facts", but he didn't question anything, he didn't ask for explainations. I was like 40 mins and I started to wonder, this interview is pretty shallow. I finished it all and I still wonder: is this all BS or is there actual science to back this up? In my experience, not all studies follow the proper scientific method, many studies use questionable means to get their results, this is exactly why I would love to see where she gets her data.

This is so heartbreaking. I started following her a bit ever since started seeing her pop up on youtube channels I follow. I actually fully admit to watching JAV, but she was not my cup of tea, on youtube however, I did find her really fun, she's just such a fun person, that's why I've been following her for a bit. She has such a great personality. I don't know about you guys, but personally I would absolutely love to have friends like her. She is really fun, she is interesting, she is smarter than she looks and she is very open minded.
Over time, she did mention her parents and the way she mentioned them and the way she was, I suspect some family member did something, personally I suspected the dad. Considering the pain in her eyes, as soon as she mentioned not wanting to live with her parents, wanting to leave her house asap, that said enough for me to make conclusions. Now, I get the feeling she very likely doesn't want to mention everything her brother did, she's not telling the entire truth.
I really wish her a good life, but considering her past, it will be really hard. I'll just hope she catches a break and is lucky enough to experience a good life. People like her deserve a good life, her parents on the other side deserve to go to hell.
I doubt she'll read this, but I'll say it anyway: Kaho-san, you have all the cards to still live a great life, have no regrets and just enjoy life!

You gota admit, this sounds pretty discriminatory towards foreigners. BTW here in Europe, you call a person a "foreigner", everyone will consider you a racist person, that's already one big difference between Japan and Europe. It's even worse if the person has been living here and speaks the local language.
Here's something ironic you didn't deemed to mention: it's hard to find love for Japanese with other Japanese people :), it's not just hard being a foreigner finding love, I'd say that does add an extra difficulty layer..
Your marriage rates are dramatically low, cheating rates higher than ever, divorces and sexless marriages seem to be more and more common. You also have just like the West more and more Virgin men in their 30ies to even thier 40ies. Japan clear has a love/dating problem, it's too obvious. I would make a case that your high suicides rates are also in part linked to love issues & pure loneliness. Japan has some big societal problems to fix, if you don't do anything about these problem you will face the consequences.

Here's the truth: men much prefer the natural look, this applies to face & body, that's reality. That's not everyone, but it's the majority of men.
As for Japan, and Asia overall, people claim they don't wear heavy make up, I admit it's natural looking and it looks nice, however when the difference is such that you can't recognise the same person before and after make-up, that is considered heavy make up, no matter what excuses you want to come up with.
I think it's an issue stuck in Japanese (& chinese & Korean, etc...) culture, people attach a bit too much importance on your looks. It's harsh, but you got to accept what you got, what these women say is true, you won't be wearing make up all day long, the man will eventually see your real face.
I live in near Brussels, most women & girls I know don't wearing any make up, to me that's natural, they wear make up on special occassions, but it's fairly light as you still recognise them. All the women I've dated did not wear any make up when we first started dating, they might put on some on special occassions. In Europe, some parts are similar, girls/women walk around natural with nothing on their face, but then some parts are mid range to heavy make up, depends on the city/region. I have noticed in the USA, women wear pretty heavy make up, but then you have regions where girls walk around just natural.
I think women need to accept themselves, personally I don't like the fact that some women seemingly hide behind their make up, I don't think it makes such a giant difference. I could not date such a woman, but I'm in luck, most women here walk around with a natural no make up look.

@Japangen lol, usually the interviewers don't talk back in the comments. Yeah, 100% this subject would interest me, never really thought about how latinos are percieved in Japan, it's a special country (Havn't been yet, but I got a trip planned, very likely within a year or two. I was planning a trip, but then covid happened. You can tell your english is flawless. As for Peru, yeah, one of my many uncles is married to a peruvian, that's where I got exposed to a lot of peruvians, my aunt has a lot of friends and siblings. My cousins went to visit that part of the family, who lived in Lima and the first thing they tell me when they came back was: primo, no tenian electricidad en sus casas. Peru is nice, but there's poor parts, same goes for mi Chile. I've gone back to visit my home country and yeah, my own family isn't exactly rich, they're not poor either, but they couldn't possibly afford a trip to Japan. Back In Chile, close to nobody speaks English even most latinos here in Europe don't either. I got many spanish friends, been to spain plenty of times, not too many speak English there either. The Latinos that speak English usually are highly educated and well off.

Not the first time I hear of this, seen several people go at it, several made videos, the one difference with this guy, this guy did his homework, clearly worked for a long time. I heared things I didn't know yet, but the subject wasn't fully new to me.
French journalists have gone at this subject several times on mainstream news, seen this on Belgian mainstream tv several times as well, I do wonder, is the language barrier the problem? I'd like to see a teamup with journalists, this needs to be exposed as much as possible.
I'm fairly sure big tech knows where the cobalt comes from, even then, wtf do you do, how do you solve this? Elon probably knows.
As for the Congo, I've worked with a couple of Congolese guys through the years, they all confirmed, the Congo is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. I don't think much can be done on the local level.
I do hope mainstream media picks up on this guy now, he needs to be heard by everyone.

Absolutely LOVE your final message!
Generalities are one thing, but human nature doesn't change. Japan does have some thing that they prefer when it comes to beauty standards, but in practise, you see different results.
I'm 5 7 (small, yeah), jacked, fairly handsome, losing some of my hair, but I either shave mly head or keep it short, I have a beard, short soem times, longer at times, but always trimmed & tidy. In therms of clothes...honestly, I don't give a fuck, I dress casual to trashy at times (metalhead)
I don't meet standards here, yet I've never been this popular with girls and women :).
Why? I'm confident and I don't give a fuck :). I take care of myself, I earn pretty well, I've got a lot of hobbies and though I never finished University, I still speak 6 languages and let's just say I know a lot of things (computer stuff, university degree was in bio ingeneer, in theory I could continue it I guess, but don't want to, I'm interested in a lot of subject)
I can confirm that based on my looks alone I'm pretty popular :).
BTW In Japan, I follow these guys who have a lot of success with Japanese women, clearly they want some things not in this list. Like being manly, working out a lot & having muscles. A lot of women in Japan some times miss seeing "a real man" in their lives, I heard this a lot from other foreigners dating in Japan, even married women tell them that.
On the looking scary comment, sadly or luckily I do fill that gap myself, I can't help it, it's just genetics. For some reason, I look scary, though I'm a model citizen. It's not a bad thing, world wide, whether women want to admit it or not, a lot of them are attracted to "dangerous men".In the past, such men would protect them, that mentality is still within our genes.
As for Japanese boobs, look into boobjobs stats, they're clearly on the rise :). It's very clear that more and more Japanese women want bigger boobs. Personally I love big boobs, to me this is wonderful news lol.

I'm sorry, but I cannot fully agree with your second point Nobita-san. The thing is in most countries in the world you can get away with speaking english alone, it's an international language. There are so many non English speaking countries in the world, yet you always find people speaking some english, why shouldn't this apply to Japan? Many countries have a very hard time speaking English, but they still try their best, a good example is France, you find plenty of English speaking people (usually with a heavy accent), but most of the french population does not speak english. A lot of countries teach english to be open and welcoming countries for foreign tourists. Now, as far as I'm concerned, I do have a base of Japanese language, but it's because I really love Japan and your culture, but I still wish Japan had a better level of english than it currently has. Having more english speaking people in a country doesn't only improve tourism, but it also opens up education for foreigners and it would make it easier for Japanese people to study abroad. From a purely practical aspect, it's way easier to learn english than it is to learn learn Japanese.

For me, the language thing, I think it has to go both ways, She speaks my language, I speak Japanese, to be that's only fair, but I know too tell well how learning a new language can be difficult. In my own case it's extra hard, cause I live in Belgium and here one half of the country speaks french, the other half speaks dutch and most people are expected to speak english, it gets even more complicated when you know that I'm Chilean and I speak in spanish with my own family (there's a ton of Spanish speakers in this region as well). Not sure how it would work, I think in my specific case, bare minimum would be english and french probably, my parents do speak french.
I don't think I could live in Japan frankly and I realise that moving here is doable, many people have done it, but it's not exactly easy.
I do think like it was said, there needs to be good communication.
Now, many of these points are not Japan specific, some are just female nature, like "she expects too much", that is just normal female behaviour.
I am not against a Japanese wife, but I think the chances of that being possible are extremely low, the culture difference might be too much to overcome, even though I'm very flexible and open and I know Japanese culture very well, I even speak some Japanese, but I just don't think it would be enough, unless she is also very open minded.

Quite simple answer: Stand up is not as widely spread as you think it is and the USA isn't the centre of the world. I've known Eddie for years, Joe I knew as the UFC commentator for years, I started listening to this podcasts because of his super interesting guests and his interest approach to an interview. Here's the funny thing, I didn't know Joe was a comedian till 1 or 2 years after listening to his podcast. OK my my defence, I only listened to some of the more interesting ones, I skipped over the stand up ones, I only started checking out the podcast more regularly in late years, listening to pretty much every single one that comes out. OK, going back to stand up, keep in mind the entire world doesn't speak english either and besides it's a big place, I knew some of the stand up comedians through movies, but didn't know the genre and didn't know the US scene till this podcast started talking about it. So many people don't even know wtf a stand up comedian is lol. Language is a barrier of some sorts, Stand up only recently appeared in some countries and some countries take a whole other approach to humor. Culture is a barrier as well, I mean, I speak english fluently, but I still don't always get some of the references US comedians make, simply cause I never lived in the US.

You really should consider running, there's so many life benefits to being able to run a certain distance without being tired, sooner or later it serves you well, at worst you can just see it as a way to increase your own endurance. You don't even have to run that much truth be told. As for Knee BS running myths, a lot of other sports injure your knees, running really doesn't. 35 atm, I've had knee issues, never due to running, my dad is 61, he runs too, he's fine, never had knee injuries. Sure it's anekdotal evidence, but consider how many old farts run at races and they usually run faster times than so many younglings. 1 thing I see too damn often being a problem with running: running with the wrong shoes...get some good shoes, don't have to be expensive, just good shoes that fit you and feel confortable.

@AndyMatrixTV frankly, my fathers side, all those still alive, they talk to me, they reach out for me. On my moms side, like two handfulls out of a giant family talk to me, the other ones let's not kid ourselves, they're don't give a shit. I don't hate them, but I pretty much consider them strangers. To add to that, my own mom has visited them and they barely cared about her and she is their lost lil sister who moved away. I do the same with friends, if they wanna see me that's good. They reach out of nowhere, etc...
Indeed only bother with people who genuine care about you.

The older she gets the worse this will become. The older she gets the less she has to offer a man, but her expectations are about as high as I expected. (way higher than your average women and she doesn't seem to get it).
The virgin thing may have bigger consquences than she realises. If she ever does it, that bond will be extremely strong and in her case, her demands will probably just escalate.
She either has to realise her demands only work in the anime world or she will end up alone and miserable. She 100% needs to date an otaku, 0 doubt about that, she is right though, it needs to be a not boring guy, my guess is very likely, date a foreigner who's also an Otaku.
As for her confidence. I get the feeling she doesn't have too many girl friends, most women are like this and it's pretty normal. She is pretty decent looking still, a boobjob might boost up her confidence and it also very likely would attract more guys.
Purely a shot in the dark, but I'll take another guess why she is single. Most of the points above point towards "her" being the source of her "problem". That is one way to look at it, but we have to consider the other side, what if it was the guys? What if whoever went after her, barely tried? Basically didn't try hard enough? She might just not be into Japanese guys.
One thing I know from experience, you cannot fake genuine desire. When her time comes, it will just arrive. She might just never have met a single guy she genuinely desired. The funny thing about genuine desire is: women will break all the rules for a man they truly desire. If they make all these crazy rules, it usually means there's no genuine desire.
1 last thing I'll mention: more women should preserve their virginity like this, kudos to her!
Another Great Video Nobita-san!

@lt.dashkov1079 don't be the nice guy, be yourself, focus on your life goals. A GF, wife, that's only a really nice bonus. People who make their wife/GF their lifegoal are horribly wrong. 20 years old is nothing, honestly, not sure how, but I lost my virginity in highschool, in my twenties I didn't have any serious GFs, only towards my 30ies did it pick up again and it's perfectly fine.
Aiming for a good job, for a better position is what any man should do. Now I hope you take care of yourself as well, women don't like dad bodies, but they don't want bodybuilders either. A decent enough body isn't just for health, it's also great for confidence as well. Again be yourself but don't be boring, that's the worst thing you can do to a girl/woman. Picking up one of two hobbies you're very passionate about is not only good for yourself, but also makes you less boring.
Anyways, you're still young, get that good job, take care and life should be good for you, good luck to you!
PS: don't get married too fast too young, even IF you find the right person. Wait years to see her true nature.

The same lie is told here: study, study and study go to university and you'll be fine. The big difference is that university is afforable here and the quality is pretty good too.
In reality, there's other ways to make money and there's other jobs that are needed, some of the jobs even pay very well.
Just take electrician or plumber, those people always have a job and it pays nicely, hours are pretty decent too. You want an easy job that pays really well? Become a welder.
In my own case, I dropped out of college for personal reasons, but at the end of the day I'm still earning 2-3 (to even 4 times during some periods) your average salary. My current job has a higher hourly wage than some of my college educated friends. Here's the other funny part, current jobs I had had quite a lot of vacation days, that means freedom on a scale most people couldn't dream of. That's just such BS if you ask me, the whole idea that if you go to university you'll be fine.
There's well paying jobs without any major degrees.
The student loan thing, yeah, it's a problem in many countries, I'll hope that one day those broken systems will be stopped, but same in Japan, oldschool politicians are keeping the system in place.

I'm kinda of an otaku, I watched a lot of anime, but it's only 1 of my hobbies. I find idols such a weird phenomenon, I discovered it in anime and very late found IRL idols and it find is so damn cringy. Sure the girls are talented and they're cute, but I'm pretty picky with music, that is not for me. The very young idols are even more cringy, the fans are in a way weirder than the idols themselves. In therms of music, I prefer oldschool music, this is about the completely opposite of what I like, I don't like lies, I don't like manipulations, in therms of music this isn't worth much anyways. I've know about all these abuses, same goes with K-pop stuff (which I don't like either, btw I don't like Western pop either). Hopefully conditions will improve with time, these girls deserve to have better lives.

If you check stats, the marriages that work longtherm usually have a pretty fair age gap, but it's not equal, it's usually younger wife, older man. Men and women just aren't the same.
This is due to many biological & social factors and Japan does not escape this dating & marriage dynamic.
Purely in therms of look, there's several studies on this, but they all make the same conclusions: what age do women prefer? What age do men prefer? Men prefer younger women, they prefer youth, while women actually look for older. Youth means prettier, this is important for fertility, but men are also more visual creatures, thusly younger usually means prettier.
As for women, they're less visual, focussed on Hypergamy, they look for the best mate, they care more about status & wealth, potential can also be a major factor, they all boil down to: can I have a good life with this partner? Men on the other side look mostly for: will this women give me good kids and will she be able to take take of them.
A guy that wants kids of his own, has no business marrying an older women, dating casually sure, the opposite, it's unfair, but yeah, an older guy can easily date younger and still have a family.
There's more pros to older man with younger woman, than the opposite. Men gain value over time, women start with value from the start and it fades away.
Personally though, whatever floats your boat, just realise when you're doing.
As for the couples shown: I predict the younger girl will probably be fine, as long as the older guy takes care of her, the first couple, I predict they won't last.
Deep down inside every man wants younger and she may look decent now, but in 10 years, he'll be 34 and she won't look as good anymore, it's also at this point where (younger )women give you more attention. women in their 20ies don't want men of their same age, they actively look for older, that is exactly when the younger girl in this video did, even if she didn't realise it.

Berserk is a noteworthy manga, it's inspired several award winning mangas, it's just went somewhere no other manga went before, mixing extreme viollence & pornography with an exceptional story. A lot of people in the world view this as an exceptional manga, some (me amongst them) call this their favorite manga, when you've read you don't argue with that status. The artwork is mindblowing, it's incredibly detailed, it takes twice at long to drawn than normal manga (a normal manga takes about a week, berserk takes 2 weeks minimum) Another great aspect of this manga is how much it mixes with western culture, as it's essentially a knights tale gone japanese lvl crazy. It's a great fantasy work with vast detailed lore. There's several fantasy branches, some a good, but only a few rare ones are excellent, like the work ofTolkien. Beserk is one of those exceptional pieces, it's truly special.

@DatBoiJrSan408 I don't casually and I have big doubts about trying dating apps, I still managed to get a few girls, every time it just happened naturally, but yeah, as you grow older, it becomes a bit harder. At the same time you gota see the signs faster too, I don't know about you, but I've grown experienced enough to know when a girl is into me, to even know if she actually loves me or not before I even hit on her. The best way to get a new GF is in real life, just gota go out, gota go to different places. Love hits you when you don't really expect and that's how it should always be, it's not something you can create artificially. One of my cousins which I'm close to, he met his current GF waiting in line for the MCdonalds, they're been together for 12 years now and again all he was doing is waiting for some burgers and this older girl approached him and just talked to him, somehow that lead to a long relationship. She is awesome and actually she watches anime like us (my cousin and me). Work is pretty good place to meet new people, atm most of coworkers are girls and there's a lot of them, the only issue I got is some are way too young for me lol. You could say that some jobs are better to meet women, I guess.I do admit, my School and University years were too easy to meet new girls, with age it became a bit harder, but the best way for me at least is through work and I guess it's not the worst thing to find new friends and new friends circles (though I personally on purpose do note date close friends, in part because I know my female friends too well and we wouldn't be good together)

@DaLastMonster a bad boy isn't a criminal per se, not always. It's more about the image of standing out in society and some people see you as "bad". Didn't grow up around surfers, don't leave next to the sea, but still went a fair bit there and I had plenty of skaters around me, Me being a metalhead (still am), I do stand out. It's more about having this bad boy attitude, but esssentially yes still a bad boy in the eyes of society. BTW your pal, does he still skate? Or can he skate if asked? Does he keep in shape or did he get fat and lazy? Basically does he still have the attitutde or is he whipped now? Some ex skaters keep the attitude, I know guys in their 40ies, 50ies still skating, just look at Tony Hawk. Being a bad boy doesn't automatically mean that you're a bad guy, it does mean that if there's a fight, the bad boy will automatically step up without a single doubt.

100% agree, people should travel as much as they can, be exposed to as many cultures as you can, be open minded. That doesn't mean you gota accept everything either, remain rational while being open.
Now, this one is a lot harder to pull off, but if you can, do it: speak more than 1 language.
People don't behave the same way when they switch language, they have a different worldview, also almost a different personality. This subject has been studied, this has been confirmed.
At work I had a clear example, this one boss we had, everyone thought he was an A hole, when when I spoke to him in his language, he was the greatest guy ever, looking back, I can safely say he wasn't the problem, the people worked with were all A holes, thankfully I don't work there anymore.
Now myself, Most of my close friends also speak different languages and those who also speak spanish did tell me: yeah, you're very different when you go into latino mode.
Something else, purely personal experience: I've only date french speaking girls, I'm in Belgium, half of the country speaks french, other half dutch. I don't know why, I just couldn't see myself dating a dutch speaking girl, I speak the language fluently, I just don't like it and when it comes to love, the language feels kinda gross, kinda sterile, Germanic cultures are more "cold hearted".
I speak spanish, french, dutch, english, basic German, basic Japanese. Now with Japanese there you see how much the culture affects the language, it's a whole other game to play, even if somehow you spoke fluently, but you didn't understand the culture, it would create a lot of confusion, out of all the languages I speak, that one has the most unique culture. I mean some words are unique to the culture, you need like 5 mins to explain it in detail, but it's words they commonly use.
Anyway, why I am even going there? Because people are different depending on what language they speak, if you only speak english, I guess you can talk to some, but it's just not the same, it's a bit harder for them to open up, though not completely impossible, in same cases though, people lock up into their shell, until you speak their mother tongue, it's like a cheat code. I mean in quite a few countries, people do not speak english, how do you communicate then? I'm in Belgium, go to Netherlands or scandinavia, everyone speak english, sure, Germany most people speak english though not all. Then you go to France or Spain, trust me, been there plenty, you're lucky if you find somebody who speaks broken english, finding a fluent english speaking is the holy grail.
Actually culture matters more than you think, if you really wanna get deep into the rabbit hole, you speak & understand dialects of a region, that unlocks a whole bunch of new encounters & conversations.

yep, said the exact same thing, cgi is the major problem, noticed it early on, though at times it's fucking good like when he first "runs" (hardly a spoiler, yes barry Allen runs), at other times the cgi is dogshit, I think this can still be worked on for the blueray/dvd release, I certainly hope they do.
The story is way better than I expected. I get why you gave it a 7, I'm willing to go as far as 8, the movie did surprise me many times and the overall story is way better than I expected. I also was expecting pure crap, but it was actually one of the better DC movies, in some circumstances 7 is considered average or MID, I think it's a bit better than that.
Yes, flashes were good, batmen were even better.
The reason I would rate it 8/10, I would have to get into spoilers, it does some really cool comic book stuff and one thing I can say, I do like how they handle the multiverse. Without spoilers I would rate it a 7, with a 8. You know very well, some of these easter eggs were fucking epic.
The Supergirl, I had giant doubts when I saw her promo, but then in the movie she looks dope, that's the only thing I'll disagree with. She fills that particular role "in the story", I think she did the job. Her costume, her look, it's spectacular, I would kill to see this same supergirl with Cavill, that was clearly the original intention.
One last thing: I'm surprised how well it turned out, considering how much the studio messed with it, it had a gazillion reshoots, the ending scene for example, I know they reshot it. James Gunn also came and added some reshoots to fit the new DC. Seriously, we're seen this happen before, it's a miracle this movie still turned out good.

I hope you at least consider this reply, sry I had to write it after reading your reply.
You make 1 crucial mistake: the soul mate myth, it's just not real. Where does it even come from, doesn't really matter. Look at it rationally, statisticly, sure, finding the right partner is hard, super hard for some. In Japan, dating is harder, that's for sure. Very likely there's a couple of people made for you, the real question is: will you ever cross path with them?
Just go with the natural flow, don't fight, don't exagerate, don't isolate yourself, just do what feels natural. For now, 100% focus on your own life, keep improving yourself, usually that's the type of man women flock to. Being in love is fine, but there's no such thing as a soul mate, just remember that.
"the next one is the last one" That's just unrealistic. Next 3 one might not be the one, but then the 4th might be a good match.
Don't be too harsh with others, sure some people just look for sex, but most people want a genuine relationship, don't hate the players, hate the game. Some times you just can't find a good match, at times it just takes time to figure it out.
One last thing and I'll be brutally honest here, don't trying to be an asshole, it's just a harsh but truthful opinion:
7 years and no sex? I can say without a single doubt: she never truly loved you, at least not in the same way you loved her.
In love & dating there's a concept called "genuine desire". This feeling is abolute and cannot be stopped, it's mostly applied to women.
If a women has genuine desire, nothing and no rules will stop her from tearing off your pants.
I've dated & fucked both, I've seen the difference first hand. The one girl who delays and delays, asks you put the condom on... that one, she may fuck you, but she has no genuine desire for you. The opposite is, she jumped you on, you take your pants off and she doesn't care about the condom, on the contrary, she may insist on no condom. You cum into her and she is just happy. This is genuine desire, it's not something you control. If your ex truly wanted you, she wouldn't have waited.
I mean, I've had girls destroy my pants, go at me aggressively to ride me, I've had GFs tell me, they masturbated to me before coming to see me, those are 2 extreme examples of genuine desire. The simpler and more realistic sign of genuine desire: you're both alone at home, you start kissing and hugging and...all the rubbing gets her really wet. I mean, this one time, I was doing this exact thing I described above and I took off her pants and her panties were soaked. I just asked her: did you pee in you pants? Her reply: that's not pee.
We all make mistakes, nobody is perfect. Don't let this trauma define your life. I mean, with friendships, I got friends from 20 years ago, some longer, still friends, still see them regularly, some moved out of the country, I still somehow see them. You make new friends, lose some friends, that's just part of life. You can't control true love, you can't control true friendship either.
Just go with the flow of this river called life.
Ps: at your age, you might want to date younger than you're used to. I hope you take care of yourself, having money is good, but try to look good physically as well, not just a fancy suit or whatever.

These halflings seem to have similar situations to what I've gone through at times, I'm Chilean born, for the first couple of years I only spoke spanish, even having moved to Belgium, later on I learned french, dutch, english, german, a bit of Japanese...but yeah I do notice some people make that difference. He doesn't look like us, that's very rare here, but in my home country I am seen as a foreigner, though that difference disappears fast when I start talking. I grew up differently, but I was born there and both my parents come from there. You know, people don't seem to need too many reasons to differentiate, I could pass as white, but I defintely don't look like your average white person, having black hair & green eyes. I also tan differently, in summer my latino heritage comes out as I go a bit darker. Now in my home country, my eye color really stands out, but then again Chile had a lot of different communities back from the colonial days, a lot of European settlers arrived in Chile, even in modern times you see lots of Chileans with foreign family names. I hope you make more of these series, I'm liking it so far!

Look at history, great people are remember because of what they did, no historical figure is remembered because they banged a lot of people. It sounds cliché, but it's true guys. I'm not a virgin, I have dated, I have had gfs, they come and pass, it all didn't really matter. I got much more satisfaction from accomplishing certain life goals and making some dreams a reality. As great as sex may feel, the feeling of finally accomplishing this one dream you have for years, it's incomparable.
You can't force love, but you 100% can and should improve your own life at least.
Work on yourself, try to have a better life than you already have and if you aren't yet, get in shape, being healthy is needed to live confortably. Self improvement is waaay more important than love or sex.

The last thing she said, about the diamond is a lie told to so many women.
It's been proven so many times before, there's many tests on this exact same subject. Show images of women to both men and women, no age on the picture, just ask: who do you find more/most attractive. This same test has been done many times, you can look it up. Results, purely on phisical appearance, based on a picture, women look best => 22-23
Deny it all you want, women are valued for their beauty by men, that is a fact.
You can tell when a woman is in her 30ies, you can tell in here case she's not a young woman, she looks good for now, that will fade and she will be left alone.
She craves attention, later in life she will have none. Sure you can look good in your 30ies and 40ies, but your fertility past 35 becomes an issue.
She will feel very lonely later in life, at some point or another she will lose male attention and that's she it will hit her like a truck.
Another thing, on the age thing; women looking for older men, that normal, do the same test I talked about, show pictures of men to both women and men, no age, just the picture, all the prefered pictures are: around 37-38. Generally men are wiser, more experience and usually better off in therms of their finances. Younger men are "boring", they have less experience and they're usually broke or have less money, so yeah, I've talked to some really young girls recently and some 18 year olds aim directly for guys 30 & above.
It's very easy to predict where he life will go, to a sad place and I don't think she realises that.

Crucial social developpement happens between 12 and 15, it starts earlier, continues later on, roughly put, this is when hormones kick in and male vs female attraction starts.
How you you enforce such developpement? Have boys talk to girls, as much as possible. Some eventually become friends, some eventually become couples.
What happens when you don't have this? Men in their 20ies, 30ies and 40ies that are virgins and here's the worst part you may not realise, women are not happy either.
How to remedy this? Force interactions at school, have group activities, don't put too much pressure on young people. Yes education is needed, but there is such a thing as too much.
If Japan was doing sucha great job, we wouldn't even be talking about so many issues, Japan has many problems to solve. The school system needs some big changes.
One thing I find really sad: I know there is so much pressure to perform well at school, then there's pressure to go to a good university, but I've seen Japanese salaries, I am not impressed. I am even less impressed with the type of jobs people have after so much stuying.

Keep going boys, whatever it takes, just keep going. It's admirable to aim for the Hero content, it's exactly what such channels should do. I mean Japan itself, they have so many issues going on, that is only 1 asian country with problems. Making people aware of these problems is step 1.
You mentioned Rogan, I would use him as an inspiration to do better, perhaps go a bit in that direction. Not completely stop the street stuff, keep it, but add some longer form honest conversation podcasts on certain subjects. The street stuff is too saturated, I would aim for quality, I would aim higher.

I watch this video because of another addiction I have: plastic crack. Which means model kits, figures, action figures.
I just can't stop myself from buying more. Once they've arrived home, problem is kind of partially sold, once I got an entire series bought, it's solved, but I keep buying more and more, I discover new series and I want this and that, the obvious real downside is the cost of it all. It even had gotten out of hand at times in therms of cost.
It's a really weird addiction, you mentions getting over an addiction relaxing, well building & painting model kits is extremely relaxing and once you're done, it's such a satisfaction. I don't need to do it every week/month/year, there have been times where I was on a break, either not in the mood or just build & painted everything I wanted, I do need this hobby in my life, I can imagine living without it.
Aside the monetary cost, the other struggle I got is just spending hours and hours looking at stuff I wanna buy. Then it's on the way, it's all I think about, I see new releases I'm so excited, but I know it's something I want to buy. I try to budget but at times have gotten into trouble. Now the hobby room does have order, I got displays, it's all relatively clean too, I'm not a hoarder though it may seem this way for some people. Some may think I got too much, I do realize I have a lot, but the concept of too much or enough never comes to mind. It is all stuff I do enjoy, but I know deep inside that I'm so greedy, I always want more cool nerd stuff.

It's not just Japan that has these type of social issues, other parts of the world are experiencing similar problems.
One thing that often goes wrong: young men learn to deal with women in school and then highschool when their hormones kick in. Some men in modern times skip this period and have few to now interactions with females. It is possible to catch up later in life, but this is a crucial period in a young man's life. Sadly, many men don't know how to simply talk to women. How to get over this problem late in life? Just talk to as many women as possible, any age, any appearance, eventually it becomes natural. It's not just about the talking, you learn about female nature by talking to women.
Now, this situation, yes the guy is creepy and women tend to hate this type of behaviour. if he liked her, he could have tried to talk to her casually, if it didn't work out, just leave her alone.

@ninokikira3623 1 thing that's interesting, you automatically assume she's a good person? I said it clearly, I'm purely guessing, either she is or she isn't, I'm fine either way, I'm purely making the observation from a neutral point of view.
As for you, watching anime is awesome, if you have people around you telling you it's lame, you are 100% hanging out with the wrong crowds. My own friends, either they also watch anime or they don't care, but they don't judge me for it, because it really doesn't matter. My bedroom pretty much looks like nerd paradise and guess what? I still take girls into it, I love my nerdy hobbies. I don't hide, I fully embrace what I like.
As for Japanese society, don't get me started there, I find Japan super interesting, but I'm not a big fan of Japanese society, it has some deep issues.
No, men don't need or want a perfect woman per se. I would rather date a nice 8 than a 10 (had both, a 10 is too much work). over the years, the one quality I look in a woman above all: loyalty. Sure it's nice to have a nice looking woman, but she doesn't need to be perfect, she just needs to be loyal.
Nino, I just hope you're happy with your current life. Being alone is what I prefer as well, but it's nice to interact with some people at times.

Racism & discrimnation of any kind are not ok.
It's a bit of a different subject, these historical events need to be discussed and thought at school, I would keep it for the last 2 years of school, because of how harsh they are.
Now, of course you shouldn't blame Japanese for their history, you need to leave most citizens alone, there is an exception to this though: the Japanese government: they cannot turn back the clock, but they should at least acknowledge their wrong and apologise, that has not happened yet. The confort women alone, I know there's 1 or several trials going on, some of these women are sitll alive today. It's purely symbolic, it's not about money, but The Government needs to officially recognise & apologise for their wrong doings and at the same time the people need to know about Nanking, confort women, etc...
You combine both the fact that the Government doesn't officially acknowledge the atrocities combined with the fact that most Japanese don't even know about these events, it feels like denial of the history.
I learned about these subjects very recently, it's a long & complicated history, but I think it's important for people to know.
Now Japan isn't the only country doing this, you Take Turkey to this day in denial of the Armenian Massacre.
I'll go to my own country Belgium. In school we barely studied the Congo, but then later in my 20ies I found out what Leopold did in Congo and started to wonder: why isn't this thought in school? Is it too graphic? Same as for Japan, if I play the devil's advocate, I would almost say it's done on purpose perhaps?
The Nazis did some pretty bad shit, but most of the world knows about it, what Japan did during WWII, also pretty bad, too few know about it. Now what happened in the Soviet Union, what Soviets did during WWII, it's such a complicated but well studied subject, most people still don't know about it, same goes for China after WWII and even the current China, though more and more people are standing up to the current Chinese government. I mean there's a modern holocaust going on right now and it's not being stopped.
At the same time there's Ukraine going on, there we saw the exact same tactics used during WWII, Russian have not changed their brutal war tactics. Go over the history of Stalin alone, the best way to describe is: he created hell on earth, Russia went through many massacres, famine, etc... Now Russians "freed" Europe and "defeated" the nazis, they did in part, the part that most people ignore is the fact that drunk Russian soldiers raped their way from Russia to Berlin.
Now the USA has plenty of forgotten or covered up dark history, I mean in Japan alone, they did 60+ city firebombings. The A bombs were horrific, estimated 200k dead, 2 weeks after they firebombed Tokyo, estimated death 400k. Cities in Europe were destroyed as well, check the History of Dresden during WWII.
Americans liberated both Europe and Japan, but there were still bad apples in the military, they stole stuff, it's a fact that some people were raped.
You can get deep into the history of the CIA, they meddled with a lot of countries, there's also all the illegal wars waged. Iraq to this day is suffering, Libya never recovered from What Obama did to the country.
There's the history colonialism, there's still consequences today, there's modern forms of colonialism today (looking at you China & Russia going into Africa)
1 bit of the video on slavery: for some reason, we only talk about "black" slaves. White people were enslaved as well, Asians, Latin Americans, etc... everyone used slaves. For some reason we only need to look at "black" slaves, that's weird. Europe had slaves in the past, it's was a common practise in most of the world. Now even during the international slave trade era, not all slaves were "black", very far from it.
Now also note how it was African themselves selling their own people as Slaves, there's a burden of responsiblity there. Here's the worst part: there's still slaves in modern times, in fact it's estimated there has never been this many slaves ever as in modern times. Why the fuck isn't that stopped? Here's the really dark thing: you can find videos online of modern slave markets, these people have no remorse or guilt for their actions.

In short it's hypergamy, this can be broken down into several sub cathegories:
Hypergamy, in the oxford dictionary: the action of marrying or forming a sexual relationship with a person of a superior sociological or educational background.
Do note, this apply only to women.
In practise this usually means somebody who either makes more money or has a desirable status, both can be combined or the last possibility, the man has the potential to be a high status man.
This is not guessing, this subject is studied quite well and there's a lot of research on this already. Female nature is not mysterious, men are not complicated either, in fact they're very simple to understand.
What does a guy want in a woman: it sounds shallow but it's the brutal truth: he wants a fertile woman to breed with, in practise that means young & pretty.
In practise you also add loyalty & confort, she takes care of her man.
What does a woman want from a man? Write a book on both genders, this has already been done, the female version is hundreds to thousands of pages long, the male version is not worth writing, it's too short, just a few pages.
Women care a lot more about money or status than they care about physical appearance, they care about different things like: confort, protection, reassurance, all qualities they also need for their kids later in life. Women want leadership, it makes their life much easier.
The other problem is women want different things depending on their age, at 20 they want to have fun, at 30 it's usually, I want to get married, I want to have kids, but they don't realise that having kids is much easier earlier in life and men want a young looking wife.
I found it funny at the beginning: these woman saying I don't want to date, I don't know how to fall in love. You cannot fight genuine desire (basically love, but it's more than that).
Truth is the men they want don't want them. Let's face it, first examples, that groups of girls, we all can tell they're older women. I'm not trying to insult anyone or maky anyone feel bad, but that the exact same group of women, in their 20ies, they would all be more attractive than they are now, take any actress in hollywood, herself in her 30ies or 40ies, her same version in her 20ies is always prettier, that's just a fact.
I do think it's men needing to step up, but women's expectation are also way too high, as stated in the video.
I think it's also the case than men and women don't understand each other, both have different preferences, but aim for different goals.
As I already, men want that fertile, young & pretty woman, woman want that rich high status guy with a lot of future potential.
Think about this carefully, the few things I described mean completely different goals.
If a guy sees a pretty girl working at Mcdonalds, he will want to date her, but the same situation, woman walks into a MCdonalds, the workers are invisible to her because their status are low, salary isn't that high.
Women are clearly attracted to people with good degrees & a good salary, men don't give a single fuck about what degree a woman has, don't care about her salary, all they care is: is she pretty.
Some people call this being shallow, no it's just basic biology, don't fight your own biology, this is how nature works. Just accept the rules of the game and work with it.
Now physical appearance, many versions of this test has been done, something like this: you take men and women of all ages, you show them pictures of men and women, don't show their age, only show the picture, rate them on 1-10. As I said, many such tests have been done before, results are the following: the highest rated men are around 37-40, a bit younger or a bit older in some tests, the opposite women have the highest ratings around 22a bit older, but more towards the younger. Again both men and women rated purely the looks of the person on the picture.
This makes it so clear: men and women want very different things, this also implies very different consequences. Just think about it, most women in their early 20ies are considered the most beautiful and they're treated better, they're desired by men. On the other side men in their 20ies are not desired as much as men past 30, dating for a guy past 30 is easier.
This also means other things: they woman "knows" that a young guy won't make as much money as an older man.
A couple gets married young, at the beginning, woman has "the highest value", but over time, the man makes more money and past 30 the man has "more value", here's the good part: over time both lose their value and can spend the rest of their lives happily together.

I think the middle ground is the best route to go. Some rainbow folk go over the top, but some are pretty normal. Religion is not the answer, not even close, that's just the other extreme end, the answer to an extreme is not another extreme. I'm a latino, let me tell you, latinos are incredibly trans & homophobic and they're even more racist. Sure it's not every single latino, but racism & discrimination are so common it's like going back in time. As for Muslims, same deal, not all are anti gay, & racist, etc... but then do note, there's atm 14 countries with the death penalty for being gay, all Muslim countries.
You need to be fair, give fair rights for everyone, the woke stuff in USA and in English speaking countries is over the top, without a doubt it's too much. Just give them equal rights to regular folk, just don't go over the top, this opposite view in the video is not the answer.

Honestly? Freest country in the world? That's debatable. I'm with you on most things, but you couldn't pay me any money to go live in the US. Beautiful country, don't get me wrong, I've met plenty of genuinely kind Americans, I would visit the country, but living there, no thanks.
I live in Belgium, for the most part, I would debate I'm freeer than I would be in the US. Crime is pretty low, the only few times I had a gun pointed at me, was from cops, you don't see too many guns here. There's few to no school or mass shootings. In very short I'm left alone and it's pretty safe here. Taxes suck, but Healthcare is fucking awesome and afforable.
1 reason why I love Belgium and this one may go unnoticed, but to me it's a big deal: it's one of the most Atheist countries in the world, this has many great implications.
I do agree, the half topless overweight women is being immature and silly, the US is still one of the better countries to live, though personally I would pass on living in North America or in the UK(too much US influence even in Politics)

I'm a lot closer to Jordan than Shapiro when it comes to logic, but I'm still also close to Harris views. I think Shapiro takes some of the genuinely important parts of the bible without analysing them too much, while Jordan wants to know why and how they work. It's like they all own a good car, Ben knows losely how it works, but he mostly insists this car is the best and we should keep it. Jordan and Harris want to know how it works, but Harris goes deeper possibly too deep, wanting to build the car from scratch, while Jordan tries to rebuilt the car fully understanding how the parts work. I do believe Harris is right at the end of the day. The big flaw in Ben's logic is the simple fact that not the entire world is Christian (or any of those religions with the same foundations), Islam and all other religions have very different foundations, hence why I think it's more important to study everything from scratch, it might be a lot harder, but it's not impossible. It's actually not building logic from scratch, Shapiro is right in part saying that Harris does use some "christian" logic in his argumentation, but Ben's case is that most of it is Judeo christian logic, that I cannot agree with.

2 things on this:
1) you're a feminist, that is one of the biggest red flags, instant turn off, so many things are wrong with you to be a feminist. In my experience, all the IRL women that I've met that were feminists, were women coming from very rich parents, that's how they manage to justify that reality. I don't ever want to get married, in this country, there's no need to and it's considered very normal, all my close friends, most of them aren't married and they won't get married, the ones who got married usually just wanted the nice fancy party at the request of the woman. As for kids, I do want kids, but there's no way in hell I'm making kids with a woman that think men are trash.
2) the opposite is a major green flag. Luckily, I do know such women, my mom, my sister, several of my friends and women I've known, all women I dated longtherm were like that: feminism? That's such a stupid idea. That is exactly the answer I'm looking for.

@lt.dashkov1079 You're in the right direction, don't try to run before you walk. Take it slowly.
Humans are social animals, I think we're in luck that we live in more social places. The other day I went to pick up some fries at my local place and basically I ended up talking to these 2 guys, (also picking up fries) for about an hour. We went deep. 3 total strangers talking for an hour. You know what, it felt so nice.
As for girls, yes, basically just need to talk, doesn't have to be dating or flirting, even basic talks help, it helps to get confortable during regular dates.
In the example above, ok, you gota make sure you're not used, that's clear. Don't overthink this too much. Text her, something fairly short. long texts are just not good unless you know each other really well. I don't know if you remember something personal on her, that would help, but don't need it per se. You could just ask her like: I had a lot of fun the other day, want to hang out again?
Send it, and don't overthink it too much. She doesn't reply, just move on, it's harsh, but that's how it goes.
100% don't focus on this, like you are, sry to say. Focus on your own grind. I don't know about you, but working out, hobby, whatever, studies, work, etc... personally when I feel bad working out is the best, running clears the mind.
I'll be honest, it's not easy finding a good women in the West, but that's no reason to give up either. Don't be afraid to try stuff. Certainly don't be afraid to talk to people.
2
-
@lt.dashkov1079 You're overthinking too much, which I'm guilty of as well.
Don't do long distance, that's a really bad call, date somebody near.
Don't complicate your life and justify why, life is short man, too short to fill it with BS you create, keep it simple.
Go on the date if she says yes, but just think of it as a test run. Considering how much you think about her, you need to come back down, very likely nothing will happen, just lower your expectations.
BTW you didn't have many female interactions at school? The key thing is the appear natural when speaking, don't force, don't overthink. Natural translates as confident. Most women prefer leaders, while at the same time you need to not give a fuck, this second part is more about you being completely relaxed and doing whatever you want to do.
It's not easy, especially when you don't have much experience, but just keep trying and don't give up. Doesn't go well? No worries, keep trying, this applies to everything.
Good luck man!

Goddamn, this seems like such a waste. I really hate when this happens, I always think somebody could have saved her, somebody could have helped her out. Cyberbullying is a real problem, at the same time people should start to learn to deal with it, but it's not at all what's happening. I was lucky enough to not grow up in this social media age, these medium expanded exponentially when I was already pas my teen years, giving me head start as I had already matured enough to handle such people. I was bullied at school, I fully admit willingly finding myself in such situations because I absolutely love standing up to bullies, but my teenage year really weren't easy. Now going back to my first comments; I've never been suicidal, but I've been pretty unhappy at times and what got me through rough times was talking to people and just being with people, I really wish somebody had been there for her, in other circumstance this girl probably could have been saved. Now, don't hate me for this next comment, but I feel like it's an important truth to share: I do think Japanese society has a blame in such events, your suicide rates pretty damn high. There's suicides and bullying in all countries, but in Japan it seems to be somewhat worse. Since I do know a fair deal about Japanese Culture I definitely feel like there's a part of blame to put on the way your society is build. You should preserve culture in the long therm, but parts of it that are bad should be forgotten, you can and should always aim to be and to do better. The conservative nature of Japanese Culture works against this, but I do see that some people are open minded and willing to take on problems you face in Japan. I do think Nobita-san tackles this the correct way and the video is well made as always. Governments need better support systems for cyberbullying victims, it's not as simple and you need to have a "thick skin", it depends on the character, some people are mentally stronger than others. As for the freedom of speech issue, myself I would prefer to keep it as open as possible, but there should be some consequences to certain types of speech. Allow the people to express themselves, that's how you get to know what they're thinking, even if it's a hateful or stupid opinion, that's ok. People who bully should be confronted with their actions, granted I'm not completely sure how this would be done and IF it could be done in practise. In my own life, I love to confront bullies any chance I get :), that's my part in this. Fuck Bullies!

I was watching the news (Belgian mainstream) and I was gladly surprised (when I shouldn't be,) they went to interview people in support of Hamas in Lebanon and they openly lied and the journalist after the interviewed said: he just kept lying to us. He asked them about civilian casualties, about the killing of kids, about rapes & about the kidnappings and the Hamas spokesman denied it all.
I think people need to understand the deep hate against Jews & the lies of the Muslim world.
And Yes without any doubt, Israel commited warcrimes, I saw some on the videos I saw of this conflict. The reality is still: if Israel does not defend itself, they'll all be killed, that's the harsh truth.
Not note, there's been many episodes of Jewish hate & attacks in other countries, people were attacked simply for being Jewish, they had nothing to do with the conflict.

Yeah, meet people sooner or later, some will be compatible, there is such a thing. It's similar to being in love, but less complicated.
Work or school "friends" aren't really true friends unless you actually see them outside of school/work and even then it's not garanteed. For me, true friends, I've noticed do things for you without even asking, sooner or later they prove they truly care about you.
I'll give one good example: this one thing, I was loosely friends with, this one day, I was drunk at a party with a bunch fo friends, he was about to leave, he kept asking me: are you ok dude, will you be ok? Me: yeah don't worry. He left to eventually still come back and basically he drove me home, he insisted. He told me, he wouldn't feel right if he didn't do this.
Another good example: they invite you to their home, again, yeah I've been a bit drunk and some friends wil instantly offer: just stay at my place, it's not far away, leave whenever you want man, morning, afternoon.
Basically friends want you in their life and they care about you, they'll even show it on occassion.
The "advanced mode" of friendship, this is something you can also apply to love: reading bodylanguage correctly. This is universal, doesn't matter what culture, do note men and women behave completely differently, you read them differently. Basically there's signs that a person likes or doesn't like, or worse they don't care about you.
With my own friends, my closer friends, when they see me, their face lights up, they smile, can't help but to show happiness.
Now over the years, eventually you do find out that some people you thought were friends, may be aren't your friend (anymore). Maybe you were never friends to begin with or with time you just lost interest in each other, one person got other priorities.
I'll say this though: it's not always easy to make friends and over the years you may lose some friends due to distance or just time (you're too busy, shedules don't align, etc...)

I geniunely wonder if there's just a different type of guy like Matthew who's overall very femine. To me he doesn't seem very masculine. I know a couple of guys like him, I've been friends with similar people for years. At times I wondered is this friend gay or something? He has a girlfriend, but he has way more clothes than her. My guess is being a man is a spectrum, there isn't just one type of man and that's perfectly fine. That may be something the Red pill really gets wrong, it's kind of funny because at the moment there seems to be a lot of different variations of the Red Pill.
Those friends of mine, I do notice, they attract a lot of women, they have way more female friends than you average guy, I mean, I'll go to their Birthday and most people there are female, I mean in my own case, like 3/4 of the people at my B day will be males.

I don't mean to be an ass, but semi pro baker, ok I work in a fancy bakery, I make all kinds of bread and I'm good at it. We got good ratings, we got celebrity clients, etc...
Sourdough, ok, personally prefer these in baguette form, but the technique for shaping baguettes is hard to master and you need extra gear (need the proper baguette placement, there's several ways to do it).
You want a better taste, overall better dough => leave it rising from a few hours to 24 hours, you need to know your stuff. The way to do it for 24 is to keep it in your fridge for a big part of it, you let it rise slowly, when you take it out of fridge, it rises faster. Here's the tricky thing, I know by look and by touch when the dough is ready, too much rising and you kill the dough, it deflates basically and loses it's tastes essentially.
Chris said this was heavy, bread shouldn't be that heavy, this means she didn't let it rise enough. Likely she has the recepy about right, that's the easiest part, but rising it the right way is the hardest part. at that size, if it's heavy, for me that's a giant red flag. If it rises too much, it's not good, if it's not enough, too little is not good either (BTW, very common mistake with sourdough)
My guess is, this same dough is probably 2-3 breads if risen correctly, or 1 very big bread, but I don't recommend this, it adds extra difficulty when you make brea bigger than standard.
OK, other part that goes wrong often: the shaping. Sourdough is tricky, it's one of the harder doughs to shape up. You shape it up too roughly and you end up tearing the dough, it loses air and it loses flavour.
Ok, another thing, We make 2 types of sourdough, but there's more, depends on what weat you use and what ingredients. I can tell this is the cheaper kind, the expensive kind is harder to find, though not impossible and it just looks very different and it tastes way better. The expensive kind does not look smooth like this.
Other thing that's harder to do at home, much easier in a bakery: the oven itself needs to be hot enough, at work, that's like 2 hours, in that time, we're making other stuff in the ovens. Other thing we do extra, right after we put in the bread in the oven, our ovens spread a bit of water on the bread, it's vapor really, it gives it a nicer color at the end, at home you just take like 1/4 of a small glass of water and throw it on the bread right after your put it it, before you close the door.
The short version; It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort to make sourdough right, basically would need to start making it one day in advance, leave the dough in the fridge, in the morning wake up, pre heat up the oven enough, like an hour or two, then 35-45 mins, depends on how hot the Oven was and the color of the bread. Essentially the break needs to be: it just went from some soft parts to hard, but not too hard (burned then), sry to say, I know what feels right by touch. Temp is around 220-225, if the Oven is too hot, we leave the door half open, open it half after 20 mins, but generally the cooking time is 35 mins to 40, 45 min is if the oven wasn't hot enough and we left the door fully closed.
The Oven itself is another fairly important factor, there's better ovens essentially. The quality of the cooking will suffer due to the oven itself.
Bread is best preserved in a closed paper bag. (yes no other materials, only paper)
Ok, the cutting, I hope she uses the proper blade, there's special blades for cutting bread, yes. Too shallow or too deep, depends on the dough, the middle here is too deep, outer marks not enough. The middle cut affects the overall taste, cause she let air escape.
Again, I don't mean to be an ass, I've just been doing this for a couple of years, making good bread is not easy, she picked a semi hard one, something like making ciabattas is probably amongst the harder breads to make.
My advice would be At least let the dough rise more and be more careful when cutting. This is hard bread to make, maybe ask a progessional or semi pro like me.

@Wig4 every single country? That's just not true. Just take the UK, 4 countries, got some differences sure, but lots of similarities. You take Belgium vs Netherlands vs france, sure different in many ways, still similar in some ways. Even Spain vs France may have their differences, but there's lot of similarities. It's just generalisation. Now, if you take English Speaking countries, same problem, lots of differences, but there's some things that you only see in English speaking countries and weirdly enough some aspects are specific to those parts. People talk of "Europe", all the countries do share some concepts. Just take dating while we're at it, you take France vs Spain vs Italy, they're quite similar in style. Then Netherlands and Germany do their own thing while the UK and Ireland handle things their own way. The West is too influenced by the USA and by Tv and some similarities are shared.

I don't know, I do wonder, You may see more Guy with Japanese girl, but still seems rare.
Here's my shot in the dark: I think guys commit more to something and in this case it's the language. In some rare cases the guy is super good looking and he manages to get a Japanese girl, but that doesn't last, the ones I see married or in a longtherm relationship are usually people who speak Japanese, this is valid for bot foreign men and women. I do think men commit more to something, they'll learn a difficult language just to get a girl, some guys go very far to achieve something.
As far as I'm concerned: I'm learning Japanese because of a rather silly reason: I want to be able to read manga in Japanese, yeah it's so silly, but I'm that obsessed. I can already watch Anime in OV, I understand most of it, I also use it to learn new words. Second reason would be because I love Japanese culture. I actually spoke a little to Japanese tourists like 2-3 times, they were really surprised, but they were glad (I heard them speak in Japenese).
As for dating, I don't ever expect to date a Japanese girl, I think the culture difference is just too great. I'm fully open to dating anyone, but I don't think it's very likely to happen (statistically). I'll be frank, my own background makes the culture difference bigger than normal. I think dating in Japan is extra hard, even harder for a foreigner.

This is just dishonest, but I don't think it's on purpose.
Brussels is like most capitals, there's good & bad. You showed a glimpse of the good, showed a lot of a small part of the bad. Gare the Midi sucks, There's lots of good to show, but yeah there's also quite a bit of bad parts, Molenbeek isn't too bad if you act like a normal person, I would say some other areas in Brussels are way worse and yes Brussels has red light districts, the bad parts are usually drug selling areas. There's the good areas of Brussels, there's quite a few, but they're usually more expensive, you go outside of Brussels, it's nice and it is safe. I live right under Brussels, for me as a local, I find Brussels very safe, I speak from experience, from my friends experience.
Food, you can eat very well in Brussels, at democratic prices, you just need to know where, you can go out safely, etc...
A local guide could have shown you the true face of Brussels, good & bad, whatever you wanted to see, I don't think you gave it a fair shot.

They are underpaid, that is very clear. I've looked into the US scene, their pay is very decent, the bigger actors are paid quite a lot, though also less than females.
Gota admit, getting a boner on demand and for long periods of time, it's a skill not everyone has. With a hot girl I wouldn't mind, but imagine the days when you don't like the girl, but you still gota fuck her.
Barely getting paid anything, yeah that is ridiculous. This industry is really big, yet the actors get paid so little.

Looking forward to the full podcast.
Now the problem I got with Both Sam and Jordan: the more you listen to anyone, the more you see their flaws and they start to pop out more and more.
Originally I was more of a Harris fan, still prefer him, but the dude went astray, the whole situation with Bret is only 1 symptom. What bothers me the most is how smart he is and somehow he fell into the trap of the extremists both left and right, which he despises so much: he lost him openmindness on subjects, he closed himself to the world and to certain people. If you live long enough you become the villain type of deal, he used to be moderate, he clearly is not anymore.
Now as for Bret, I do agree with Sam that Bret went a bit overboard with his appraoch with his podcast, the problem I got with Sam is that he doesn't argue based on facts, he can't see through his own cognitive bias anymore.
As for Jordan, he lost me with the religious preaching, the Jesus smugling. I mean, he has a lot of issues, still has many demons to deal with. The dailywire move, not a good move, only made him more into an extremist, same problem as Sam, with through a different route. Nothing good comes from preaching from dogma over reasoning based from logic & facts, if he did he would have noticed the bad influences in his life (looking in particular at Michaela Peterson, Jordan was a better man before she started taking over his operation) Does anyone know why he "crashed"? What are the causes? I suspect it's both a combination of his own issues, combined with being surrounded by the wrong people.
I think both these 2 just got too cocky for their own good.

Basically very similar reasons to do it and similar impossible beauty standards as in the West, I don't really think beauty standards in Japan are higher than here per se. I think Japanese women just take better care of themselves with 1 major factor of influence: being thin. Usually losing overweight kilos results in being more attractive, this matters a lot more than in countries like the USA where like 40% of the people are overweight. There's some genetics in play, I will admit, your average Japanese woman looks prettier than your average Wesern woman. Less sun exposure very likely also plays a role, the more sun you have, the more wrinkles you have on the face and the older you look. In countries were there's a lot of sun, I've noticed people look "older", the further you go in age, the worse it gets. Now, when I check Nobita's videos and other Japanese videos, I do notice, NOT all women are attractive, at best I'd say there's a bit more pretty women in Japan, but it's not too far off the West. Now it's noteworthy how beauty standards are purely a personal taste. If I go by my porn "experience", most girls in JAVs are cute, but very few are truly beautiful. When I watch Japanese youtubers you see "a bit of everything", Japan isn't that much different than other countries. Purely personally, I don't think it matters that much how you look, personality & confidence matters a lot more (for guys how much money you got is probably the best way to have a beautiful wife). As for the bullying, I'm (kinda of) good looking, but I'm short and yeah I was bullied at school too, but there's ways around it, in my own case I just had a thick skin, and I got into martial arts, those were my 2 solutions.

Isn't this whole video just about being a kid? About being immature?
For awhile I thought: having a Japanese gf would be the best ever. Eventually I did realise: that is probably the worst idea ever, very likely wouldn't work out. Not being unrealistic or pessimistic about this subject, I just know that finding a Japanese women who is compatible enough with me, it's not impossible and I'm not against it, but it's very unlikely. When it happens it happens, doesn't matter the nationality.
In any case: I got my very first Japan trip planned for september, I got realistic expectations. Travelled a fair bit, it will be my first time in asia though, done the other continents, there's good & bad people everywhere, there's positive & negative aspects to all places.

@yujitoyokawa8672 very fair point, thanks for answering.
Now do note, Europe, from the foreign perspective does seem to have a different culture, but each country has a culture of it's own. I'm in Belgium, it's not he same culture in France, Netherlands or Spain. I speak fluently Spanish, French, Dutch, English and I've gone to those countries countless times. Even now, cultural differences are still noticable, to the point where I would not like live anywhere else, because I much prefer Belgian culture. Some aspects of culture are the same, some overlap at times, but some cultures in Europe are polar opposites in therms of values. Where I live, there's a local culture, but I also get exposed to a lot of foreign cultures due to all the foreigners living here.
If you don't mind me commenting on Japanese society, from the outside perspective, it does seem problematic. The rates of suicides and depression, the loneliness. You have people with few to no friends, you have 30+ year old virgins (BTW this last one is also a problem in the West, for different reasons). I do think Japan overall needs to open up a bit more and in part it may be to blame on the tatemae culture. At the end of the day, the truth always come out, it's pointless to pretend otherwise. That's why I prefer more honest people.

@yujitoyokawa8672 It's nothing one sided, has nothing to do with my "own culture". This country has 35% of the population of foreign descendance. Basically you have mix of many different cultures. This country, you're not familiar with Belgium I imagine, here's the thing. National pride is not a thing here, nobody cares and there's many reasons for that. Aside the foreigners, there's half of the country speaks French, the other half speaks Dutch, a minor part speaks German and in the Capital (10% of the population) you hear English and Spanish everywhere.
Because of all these reasons I've got different perspective. This is a giant difference in culture. I know it's weird to live in a country with no national pride, few to almost nobody is proud to be Belgian.
There's another reason why I blame the tatemae culture, you don't have to agree, but here's my logic:
Above everything else, I stand by the truth. You can twist it all you want, at the end of the day the truth always comes out.
For business I got no problem with tatemae, but for friends and for family, you need to be honest. That may be a difference in culture and you may not agree. I'm not asking you agree, I'm just giving my own opinion.
I remain open to all cultures, I don't have a singular cultural indentity. I find the Japanese Culture fascinating, it has some good & some bad parts.
I'm glad that you at least you see your society has some problems it needs to solve.

@yujitoyokawa8672 tatemae is very specific to Japan. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's intention is to be polite.
When an American or a European says, you look awesome and don't mean, it can mean so many different things. In rare cases it can be a "white lie" (a lie told in order to not hurt the feelings of the person), in most cases it will sarcasm (told with a very sarcastic tone). This is not about being polite, in example one you're willingly telling a lie, in example 2 you're making fun of the person. In the West telling a lie is the opposite of being polite, this one of those huge cultural difference between Japan and "the West".
In the West you kind of go for social conflicts, because sharing your opinion is encouraged. This is the part that bothers me about tatemae and the reason I think it's such a failed costum. The individual is celebrated, this has pros & cons.
1 thing that bothers me, not telling the truth has consequences, in the end it always comes out. If you have a friend who lies to you all the time, that's a really bad thing here, here that's called being fake. I actually see some lose form of tatemae in the Western work culture, but to be more accurate, I see it in the "high circles" (fancy places & fancy jobs, in other words high paying jobs & expensive places), in such circles you see that type of behaviour and pretty damn fake. Very rarely are such people your friends, real friends tell you the truth. Between friends this is rude behaviour. Very rare are such people liked by others. Basically you do something like tatemae in West, and you're considered either rude or fake, neither is a good thing.
It's not just a problem with friends. In Japan, you go on a date, the girl doesn't like you, but because of tatemae, she won't tell you it went bad directly, she'll find some soft way to hint, she'll say something like: see you soon, but will then never talk to you ever again. In Japan that's being polite, here that's being rude, it's a waste of time. During a relationship, she lies to you too many times and you'll have to break it off.
Here after a date, if you have some doubts, you say it clearly, but if you like or dislike the person, you'll make it clear. The "See you soon" is not a formality, it's a genuine intention, that's a giant difference between the 2 cultures.
In very short, tatemae is polite in Japan, rude in the West. Honne is encouraged, even prefered in the West. I would even go as far as saying the truth is more polite.
Why do I keep insisting on this? Because the truth always matters, there is only the truth, not multiple versions of the truth.
Because of tatemae, people keep to themselves more, isolating themselves from others. Depression & suicidal thoughts have in common the fact that you feel alone and see no escape, you have no real support. I see tatemae as a kind of barrier, which you rarely see here.
I've heard this many times and I've felt it myself: Japanes are kind of coldhearted. This is in part due to this "politeness".
Of course it's not the only factor to explain all the depression rates & suicides, but I would go as far as saying it's a major factor. If you disagree, tell me why Japan is so depressed and has so many suicides?
Don't you think that is a giant problem?

I'd say, there's a right time and place to tell her, like you said, do it when it catches her off guard, don't start with it. Have a conversation, take it easy and then at one point you drop it, to then pretend like it barely matters, that's how you pull it off, gota catch her off guard. Other things that work, but you shouldn't over do them: compliment parts of her she wouldn't expect you to compliment, but again don't over do it either. As far as compliments go, sure even as a guy I've gotten compliments from both females and males, I can't complain :).

I wonder if in some case this isn't just "overthinking" everything. ATM I do have female friends and it's fine. Some have BFs, some don't, I'm single atm, it's all fine. I mean I have like a handful of gf who invite me over and stuff, because they like me, even though they got a BF. Man & female relationships don't always have to be sexual. Videos like these make it sound like every time you put a guy & a woman together they're bound to fuck or at least get attracted to each other, I don't think that's the case. Finding love, finding somebody you're attracted to isn't that easy. Bret Weinstein said something along the lines of: There's a different between a woman that's "hot" and a woman that's "beautiful", the woman that's hot you just want to fuck, while the woman that's beautiful you want to marry (/you truly want to be with). That "beautiful type" of woman is hard to find, the hot kind is easy to find and even easier to forget. If your friend is somebody you find "beautiful" and you want to be with her, but she doesn't like you, you'll eventually just have to drop it, but some of your female friends can be hot. As long as you keep boundaries and have good communication with each other, everything can work out. In my own case the reason why I've been able to keep some of my female friends for 15-20 years is because a long time ago I decided: I don't fuck my friends, no matter how hot they are. I do have one night stands and easy flings, but just not with friends. I've event talked this over with some of my female friends, I know that sex would make things complicated, why bother, just stay friends who respect each other.

It's a social problem and I don't think most Japanese leadership know how solve this problem, but it is solvable. The solution is not so easy, because the culture itself is proving to be part of the problem.
In the long therm, this this applies to everything: Japan needs to adapt to the global market & global social norms. Keep what's good, get rid or correct what's not good.
I do think Japan can keep most of it's indentity, but it needs to start adapting, it's because of this that it's in trouble with the birth rates and it's economy. The real problem are the cities themselves and social interactions between people. Humans are social animals, people need to socialise, people need to work less in Japan too, the work culture in Japan is clearly a major problem, workers aren't happy being forced to work so much and they do'nt have time to socialise. Overall, there needs to be a focus on everything social, on human interactions. People need to talk to each other, they need to spend time with each other, that's how you make friends, that is also how couples are formed. The way Japanese society is build currently clearly people are interaction with eachother enough.

She's doing something good, good for her. I've been following this who pornhub thing through the years, glad it's going well. I've seen french media go into this subject pretty deeply, they go extensively into the pornhub thing, some of those docus are only accessible to europeans and they're only in french, one thing they added: they went after the xvideo folk, which is a similar problem, the owners are french, that platform is a whole can of worms to open.

I get what you're saying, but in pratise, yeah, there's genetics and here in this country. Women don't take care of themselves when young, they do when they become older and some F how look better older. Now this is not always the case. 24 vs 31, both can be attractive, let's face it and both can look like crap. The age thing, for sex, who cares, it's for relationships where the guy who wants kids, better pick a younger one, there you are correct. There's sexual attraction vs relationship material.
Apply this to men as well, some look like crap, but a lot of men simple don't do the work to look good/better. Go check the blackpil guys, how many of them are lazy and fat as fuck?

Besides, if you visit several countries in asia and decide visit Japan too, should you have to learn some basic japanese? Are you travelling or studying? Usually you travel to be 100% relaxed. Personally I speak 4 languages fluently, know some basic Japanese & basic German, sure I can learn a couple of words when I visit 1 particular country, but I don't think I have to per se, I'm pretty happy with speaking English, Spanish, French and Dutch fluently. Take the backwards problem, here in Belgium you speak both french & Dutch, should I ask foreigners to learn some bases of the 2 languages? I don't think so. In the long run, you can't ask people to learn basics of every language of every country they visit. If you go to Japan just once, why should you learn the language? Truth is, maybe a few basic words, but otherwise you really don't need such knowledge. If I turned around the roles, asking Nobita-san to learn the 2 main languages of my own country, he would not enjoy it very much, french & dutch are way harder to learn than English. I'd be fine in Japan as I do speak a bit and I do know the culture very well, but I hate being forced to do something, especially hate being forced to do something during a vacation.

Sry but I got a bad vibe about her. She's single, she dates younger guys who 100% will never marry her, why would they? Younger guys wanna fuck her, that's it, maybe some want her for some time, but eventually they'll want a younger women with no kids.
There's way too many simps in the comments as well.
I suspect most guys who follow her, do it because she's still hot and has some nice tits.
Considering all the differences between men and women, I don't think female dating coaches are the way to go, I mean have they dated women themselves? Do they know what's it like to be a man? I don't think so. Women are known to say something and do the opposite, I see this with my mom, with my sister, with female friends, I've seen this with dates.
The other problem is: lead by example. A dude, he gives advice and he's living the dream, that's what you want. A guy talks about dating and you see his social media, he has several girls each week. Same for being a tough guy, or being motivated, I'd rather listen to Jocko W. whatever other navy seal, somebody who actually is proven a tough mother fucker, rather than listening to some guy or some girl who pretends to be brave online.

Holy shit man, at the same time, I'm not surprised, I'm not sure why the fuck, I keep seeing this BS; guy commits a heinous crime(s), family & neighbours: oh but he was such a nice guy. Usually same dude had an extensive criminal record, but he was such a nice guy. No, real nice guys do nice things, they don't hurt people, people need to stop calling convicted criminals nice guys.
I do wonder, are these people willing liars or are they just terrible at reading people, probably both.
Another perspective, which nobody wants to recognise in this day & age: humans are violent creatures, humans are horrible beings capable of insanely evil acts. And yeah, humans lie, a lot. So every time I see on tv: he was such a nice guy, I automatically take it as: ok, not true.

@matasuki It's too true, as far as male friends, I think about all of mine watch porn, most of my close friends openly admitted, we even discus it some times, lol. (this is also valid for friends in relationships, the gf/wife isn't always there at home) Now, I got some female friends I manage to trust enough for them to admit they watch porn & masturbate as well, it's not just guys, every GF I've had so far also usually admitted to the porn thing, it's probably more common than you think.

You sure you don't enjoy these anymore? Why not sell them? it does happen that you get tired of your hobby, if you do, and you notice you just don't enjoy it any, then just quit and forget about it.
Personally been doing warhammer & gunpla & other similar hobbies since I was 12, nearly 40 now and still enjoy these same hobbies.
I mean, gunpla alone, I still enjoy the kits so much. I saw the very last gundam show, I enjoyed it a lot and I enjoyed building the kits from that series and I look forward to future releases. It's been nice to see the evolution of the gunpla technology. I saw an old G gundam kit in the pile, I have the newer ones, they're incredible.
I fully embrace my hobbies, I got displays to enjoy my kits & figures. Even people who don't know anything about my hobbies are blown away.
Purely from how you talk about these, I would consider selling them, unless you enjoy them and I get the feeling you don't care much about many of these. This room could still be a hobby room, with more space. If you do a hobby, you 100% have to enjoy it.

Obviously you have to work, but at the same time, be fair, be reasonable. Some jobs are shitty jobs, I would say most people work jobs they hate, some jobs are completely underpaid, while other jobs are overpaid.
I was looking at a documentary on carrefour (french supermarkets), those people are underpaid and they get fired for BS reasons, similar things going on in Belgium, workers are losing their rights, they get paid peanuts, it's not right. Meanwhile, I get paid more than double of their monthly salary and I don't even work the entire week, I go hard on work days though.
I don't know about the US, but here in mainland europe I'm seeing workers losing more and more rights, getting closer & closer to being slaves, they work all month and some can barely afford their lifestyel, I'm talking about a normal life, nothing crazy. (not talking about the UK, the UK is something else)

Female nature is female nature. No matter what country or what culture. This is backed by science. 2 good references Dr David M Buss, Dr Gad Saad, it's quite the popular subject to study. Go further into male vs female dynamics, sex, mating, evolutionary psychology, all these subjects make people unconfortable when exposed. Humans are humans no matter where they are or what era they're in. Pick your subject, usually there's a good explaination back by science on why humans do it.
Take the subject of Sex, why women have sex; Dr David Buss wrote an entire book about the subject. When asked why not write the "male" version, he answered: it would be too short, it's not worth writing.
What attracts women, what attracts males, it's not really a secret, it can be summurised quite easily by science.
Another interesting work (he has so many viable studies) from Dr David Buss: his 37 culture study. It took him 5 years, he studied cultures from all over the world, all very different from each other, but the conclusions were all lined up. Completely different cultures from all over the world, but in therms of mating preferences, it was all the same. There's universal sex differences, doesn't matter what culture. Japan, USA, Europe, it's all the same when it comes to female nature.
You seriously think the subject of porn has not been studied? Seriously? It has been studied extensively, it's still studied and it will be studied more in the future. Again, I got nothing against porn, I'm way more accepting of porn than I am religion (because religion is not based on a lot facts, it's mostly faith based). Some people will F hate, but I'll say it anyway: porn is more logical than religion. Somehow you live in a world where you think most pornstars are mentally stable people? Sure some pornstars are happy, but how many of them suffer? I got a better question to ask: how many pornstars regret their life choices? An even better question for Japanese Pornstars: Why do most ex JAV actresses lie about their past? You lie about about past trauma and that fixes it somehow?
Pair bonding is a much studied subject and it is very different for men vs women, it's very fair to say women who had too many partners lose their ability to pair bond. It's an ugly truth some people don't want to face, a woman who has too many partners loses her ability to pair bond and this same logic does not apply to men in reverse.
What type of guy would want to marry an ex pornstar? Sure they lie and that's why some get away with it, but if they knew, would they? Probably not.
You only lie about something you're not proud of, you lie about something you know is wrong, you lie about something you don't want people to know.
Do I even have to explain what happens when a man finds out his wife did porn, what happens if his friends know about it? Usually doesn't end up well for the woman.
Ok, it's pretty unbelievable, Nobita has an entire channel about social issues in Japan, in there he has many interviews with active and retired Japanese Pornstars. For some reason, we're supposed to only retain the positive aspects and completely forget about the negative aspects? That's just dishonest. There's genuine bad aspects to doing porn in any country, any culture. If I was wrong, why do so many women lie about their past? What happens to women who are honest about their past?
OK, let's face reality, most pornstars don't get super famous, most don't don't end up super rich either. How many of these pornstars are happily married? How many will remain married?
Japan has a society that loves to hide away it's problems. Go back to Nobita's interviews, there's plenty of negative aspects.
Ok let's talk stats: I'll expand into general sex work, have you seen the stats? The numbers are quite high, without a single doubt, they're underreported, because Japan loves to hide it's problems (don't worry, it's not just Japan) Still it's painfully clear it's a lot of people. Nobita & others have discussed this extensively. I mentioned sex work in general, many pornstars do/did both, there's illegal sex workers (unreported), furthermore yes some stop (and lie about their past) ,but there's also quite the rotation of active girls in the industry.
OK, go back to basic female behaviour: why did I mention 10-15 years later + "end up in a bad place".
Women want different things in different states of their life, that is normal. A 20 year old won't usually think about having kids, while a lot of women around 30 want kids. A young woman wants to have fun then later in life, she gets serious and usually wants to settle down. Statistically seen, most women reproduce, it's fair to say most women want kids. Humans are social animals, they want companionship, even if they don't have kids, they usually want a partner.
The subject has been studied plenty: men prefer women young and fertile, fertility drops with most women going towards 35, its just biology. A ton of studies studied male preferences on female beauty, the peak age is around 23. A woman in 30ies ,40ies etc will never look better than her own version at age 23 and please don't mention plastic surgery or individual preferences, neither supports women being prettier at later ages. The majority of men don't like plastic surgery (personally got nothing against it as long as it's not too much of it)
OK here comes the fun bit; the conclusion and the real point I wanted to get across:
Regular women have never been this unhappy in history, I don't even have to go to sex workers or pornstars, just regular women aren't too happy. There's a rise in divorce rates globally, there's a rise in depression rates and suicides everywhere.
More women than ever are going to university, I'll stick to USA, USA has roughly a divorce rate of 70%, go to carreer women, it goes up to 90%. I don't know these same stats in Japan, but I bet you women with masters have a harder time dating & getting married. Guess what Nobita has discussed this subject. Japan has some major issues going on: the obvious birth decline. Why aren't people getting married? Why are people having less sex, while at the same time people cheating more? Note, both in the West and in Japan: there's more virgins than ever, both genders. There's also a rise in single moms. I have nothing against single moms, but it's a reality that a lot of single moms end up in the next major issue: poverty.
Japan has some major societal issues to face and the biggest obstacle to fixing such problems is the way Japanese society works: just ignore or hide everything.
Sex & porn shouldn't be stigmatised, it does not need to be a taboo subject, while a the same time , it should be discussed within reasonable limits.
Let me ask you this: if you had a chat with several older pornstars, do you think they're happy people? Sure in Japan they lie about it, those who don't, are they truly happy later in life? Dealing with regular life is hard, would it be unfair to say that life is harder for female pornstars? Some are married sure, but note they can never truly pairbond, in other words, they're together with a friend, but not with somebody they truly love & desire. Some end up alone and then there's the ones in between, some are found out later, some have unresolved issues, etc... I don't need to go stick to Japan to study female human behaviour, it's about the same everywhere. You don't even need depression & suicide rates: how many ex porn stars can safely say they have no regrets doing porn?
The first step of fixing a problem is recognising it's a problem and then try to fix it.
Many girls in Japan get into the sex industry for the wrong reasons to only regret it later in life, this is a heartbreaking problem.
Face the unconfortable truth.

@zddzzdzddz I agree in part, in Japan, the whole subject of sex needs to be discussed a bit more. The bigger issue with sex workers is abuse & trauma. It's not all regulated, it's not all legal, the bigger issue I see though, it doesn't only apply to regular sex workers: the pair bond problem. Regular women, having too many partners lose the ability to pair bond and that becomes a real problem later in life. I'll put it another way, let's pretend it's all legal, the sexworker is taken care of, everything is fine, there's still consequences and I don't think a lot of girls realise what impact it has on their life. I'm talking about regret mostly. Now note, sex workers shouldn't be celebrated either, that's going too far, though I do fully agree they are needed in society, they have a role to play. It is painfully clear that Japan has a whole bunch of social problems they don't deal with. Now, all type of sex workers, the problems they have are pretty clear, they're the same as in other countries, ok Japan may be a bit more aggresive than other countries. Now note, in late years human trafficking is getting worse and worse and that includes illegal sex work. In Japan on the semi legal side, from what I've seen, a lot of girls enter the business for the wrong reasons and when they want to get out, they get stigmatised, it's a vicious circle, while at the same time, people who go willingly into porn, they bear some responsability for their actions.

@mariomaslik I don't live in Japan, but what you're describing I've heard many times before. I know some companies actively discourage coupes being formed, but it still happens, but very likely flourishes after work, probably while having some drinks. I've noticed this with some people from some countries, Japan, Germany, they're close minded and reserved (maybe shy), you get a few drinks in them and you get the real version. In Japan I gota admit, honne vs tatemae is really annoying to deal with, I've had problems with it myself (tourists and Japanese people I just happen to meet here). As you said, she could be smiling to you purely out of courtesy. I live in Europe, nobody gives a fuck if you date a co worker here.

I don't think she's full of BS, but there's some BS still, Chris should have called her up on some of it, but I guess he didn't want to seem rude. At times I do think he could and should be more confrontational.
The real problem, some of her data feels more like her own intuition rather than her opinion being based on data & facts, like when she was talking about trauma, that got messy.
Differences between sexes, that also gets messy, even if you read the data, still isn't always easy to figure out.
The red pill, if you follow the latest drama, something I already knew, but it became clearer than ever for your average guy: the red pill isn't just 1 type of guy, it's several. It's like saying all Muslim men are the same type of people, etc... Funny enough feminism is the same, as much as I hate what the movement has become, you can find very reasonable feminists.
When she talked about men using women to compensate for something. That one topic can get ugly: Can't men and women just be friends? What about different type of men vs different type of women? Is monogamy the only way, polygamy, etc... The soul mate debate vs other such topics as men having harems, etc... I don't think it's a simple as she portrays it, I don't agree with her conclusion either.

Being 100% serious, this is a good subject to cover.
I mean, I've been fascinated by it, to the point where I went into statistics, I went into the psychological aspects to deep evolutive mechanisms of why men like looking at breasts so much.
It turns out that it really is written into our genes; it's round shapes that attract men, not just the breasts but also the behind and the legs, this has been studied even on blind men, even though they can't see, they still enjoy those shapes. Another aspect is the fact that a big chest will easily feed the future offspring, this may seem trivial, but it's not. In thise country, the average boob size is A to B cup, this is problematic when it comes to feeding your newly born, many women have trouble, some can't give their kids breastfeeding. In the long run, it's better to breastfeed your child for some time, some bacteria are given that way and there's several other benefits from it.
I've wondered why breasts feel so nice to touch, why they are so conforting, it's probably some nostalgia from when I was little.
Here's where it gets really fun, it's not just men looking at female breasts and asses, the opposite is also true. So many studies have gone into this, a big chest on a male is regarded as more attractive, in practise it means more strength as well as the ability to defend yourself. The reason why boxes better have a bigger chest is to protect their heart and internal organs. It may seem trivial, but it does provide a barrier from shock within some limits.
I've seem some experiments where both men and women are given glasses with censors and cameras, to see where they look at. It's obvious where men will stare at, it can't be helped, it a deeply instilled mechanisms within us, but women do it as well. Women will also stare at the chest and the ass of men, as well as their shoulders & back.
--------------
Now purely my own personal experience.
I love big boobs and I don't even hide it, not even from my female friends, I even have discussed the topic on occassion. You just have to remain respectful about it. I mean, even on something close to a date, I've managed to casually discuss the subject, somehow and the girl/women was fine with it, again, just be respectful about it.
In my own case, I'm latin american, I've been surrounded by big breasts and I'm probably trying to continue to that tradition.
As for my own physique. I'm average to small depending on some countries, but I got a big chest and big arms, small waste. This 100% attracts eyes and it has gotten me into some trouble. Chikan and unwanted touching was brought up, in my own case, I've been touched many times, my chest, my ass. For some reason it seems perfectly ok for some women. I don't really mind, but it's kind of troublesome to be touched by a strange, not even asking or even apologising for it. When one of my friends does it, it's fine, but that's a whole other matter when a stranger does it.
I mean, I've been to clubs and some random drunk girl starts touching me all over the place and I look at her: wtf are you doing? I am not kidding, the same touching done by a guy on a woman would be treated differently, some of these girls when pretty far in the touching.
When I go to the beach or a swimming pool, I get looks from both men and women, it's too obviously. There is a difference as I can defend myself, while women cannot.
At the end of the day, I think it's pretty fascinating all the interaction between men and women, I really enjoy going into the "why".
For future interviews on this fascinating subject, ask other men and women, men and women of all ages, very likely more open minded people willing to discuss the subject, not everyone is confortable with it.

I didn't know Sam could argue like a politician or relgious leader until this point, I guess he proved me wrong. Now, I do agree with some of his points. I listened to some of Bret's podcast, but just couldn't possibly listen to all of them, thar rabbit hole is way too deep, not to mention just pointless. It's like asking questions for the sake of asking questions. I do think that Sam trusts the vaccines way too much, while also saying he knows the science isn't clear on this topic yet. I got vaccinated, but I'm not too happy about it, in a loose way I was forced to, though I can still say, I loosely trust the vaccines. BTW I am against forcing the vaccine on people. I think that both Sam and Bret went a bit too far towards taking sides on this issue when you really shouldn't.
The more I listen to big personalities like Sam, Bret or somebody like Jordan Peterson, the more flaws I find in those people, hence why it's best to make up your own mind, take the advice, but don't swallow it without quesitoning it.

I understand how you feel, how I react to it myself is different, but feelings are somewhat similar. I do look at it from a very different perspective. I was born in an actual dictatorship (Chile), me, my parents know all the signs of a dictatorship. When we see a fascist law being passed we don't just accept it, we call it for what it is. The gender stuff doesn't reach most of Europe BTW, sure some Euro countries are very tolerant of LGTB+ but the language blocks many aspects like the pronouns. How do you translate made up nouns in 20+ languages ?You can't :). Most people here don't understand the concept anyways and it's mostly a thing in English speaking countries.
The language barrier is real and it makes a huge difference. I'll give you an anekdotal example: I was working in Holland for a week, I speak Dutch fluently, all my other collegues didn't, they only spoke English. There supervisor spoke both, as most dutch do. Now my own interaction was awesome with thre guy, the dude was really nice and he was joking 24/24, I had a blast with him. My other collegues started talking about him during dinner in French, their own native language (I speak 6 languages, I live in Belgium btw). Basically they told me, they thought this guy was a total asshole, he was very strict and overall he was very unpleasant. I found that really weird how differently they percieved him, but then on the next day, I did start to notice the difference in his attitude when he was speaking dutch to me, compared to how he was in English vs non native speakers. 1 thing that is worth to mention is how fluent you are in a language, I know it seems trivial, but it does make a big difference. Certain people don't open up to you in the same way. I mean, just take france, if you only speak English you'll only be able to speak with very few people, most French don't speak any English due to their lacking educational system. Me on the other side can speak with them, not just that, I know their culture and I adapt my french to their (Belgian and French French have some different dialects, etc... I do the same in Spanish speakers from other countries). When you speak like a native, you get access to them in a different way than you would if you speak in a foreign language. It some times takes trust for them to open up, speaking their language like them is a shortcut.
Some of my belgian friends who also learned Spanish have told me I am a different person when I speak in my native Spanish, in part that is due to me feeling more confortable in a weird way and also my Chilean roots are are completely different culture. Being familiar with the culture makes a big difference, if you ignore the culture behind a language, you will sound awkward to native speakers, add a thick accent to it and it's even more unconfortable. BTW there's studies on this, about language influencing how a person behaves, you have a different personality when you switch to another language.
As for Politics, they're a shitshow no matter what country you are in, it's just a different shitshow. I look at the USA and honestly, it's almost like a different country. I get a similar vibe from a country like Japan, you can almost think they're alien planets, the cultures are just so different. I look at the USA and I see every fucking thing is politisized, every fucking thing. In this country and in most of Europe, you don't do that; climate change isn't debated whether it's true, politicians only argue about how much to spend on it, both sides accept it it, it's not a an arguement.
In part it's also politics & culture that block off some of the crazy English Speaking ideas. I do see a parrallel between all the English speaking countries as they often seem to adopt the same stupid ideas. This same principle does not go smoothly when you got completely different countries. In these covid times we're seeing some crazy laws being passed, but all depends on the culture, because that affects how the leaders react to such a crisis. Just take Holland, Belgium & France. All these 3 countries reacted very differently to the pandemic and they had different reactions to it. You take the covid pass, some Euro countries accept it, some don't. I went on vacation to France a week ago, it was nice, but the attitude towards covid was still different there. They had the stupid covid pass everywhere, even in places where it made 0 sense. It was weird and it was annoying, but it was not a deal breaker. In the Long run I much prefer Belgium who didn't want the Covid pass, because it considered it to be discrimnation amongst citizens. I also see a difference in attitude, here honestly in theory, you gota wear the mask to go buy something, but in practise, I'm noticing some shops don't give a fuck anymore, besides in this small town I live in, 90+% are vaccinated and there's few to no deaths from covid, basically the mask is not needed and most of us know it. You did not see the same in France and they're way less vaccinated folk and overally I'd say people are more "scared" of each other. As for Holland, I have to visited it recently, I do have friends there and do know people there. Basically many citizens there are just left in the dust. Somebody I know got covid, she got 0 support from anyone, she didn't it too badly, but it still affected her and she wanted some help. Even the basic testing wasn't there. Countries are just run differently. Though France and Holland and even my homecountry are different, I still accept them. The USA however, I look at what's going on and think: W T F is going on here, these people are nuts, are they even "human"? I do have American friends who are normal, but still, when I check US news, I often just get angry, frustrated & disappointed.

That woman, her expectations are off the scale and she's not particularly pretty, nor is she getting any younger, the wall is gonna hit her so f hard.
As for guys & jobs: there's nothing wrong with having some ambition, as long as you stay realistic. I lost my job during the bug, cause I worked in event's stuff and everything shut down. Right now, not doing as good as I wish I was, but I'm still getting paid more than I was pre bug, ATM under certain conditions I have a couple of options opening up and yeah those future options, I'll get paid even more. My pre bug job was pretty sweet, it was well paid, it was international at times, fancy hotels, expensive food, but when I lost it, I wasn't crying, I was just like: oh whatever, I'll go somewhere else.

Avoiding the weird people in the train/subway, yeah that happens here as well and I happen to be one of those weirdos lol, I'm kind of large (muscles, I look my a MMA fighter), I got a serious/expresionless look and a beard, I look a bit "scary" lol, I do notice some people avoid me, but it's not always the case. Usually other men are fine, but I do notice it's mostly women who usually do avoid sitting next to me and I understand it, I look a bit scary. Space is a concern, I admit, but I bet it's worse in Japan. Now as for myself, I don't like sitting next to others, that's why 90% of the time I prefer to just stand, I usually sit when I'm with friends who prefer to sit down. The odor thing: yes, I fully agree, different races do smell different, but I've kind got used to "the different smells", BTW asians do smell, they 100% do, my guess is this is due to diet. This country has 35% immigrants of people with immigrant origins, you basically get to experience "all races" (including some Japanese on some occasions). Now here, at certain hours and during some periods (summer mostly) our trains & subways smell bad, it's a sad reality how some people just don't bother with taking showers, yes it's disgusting and I don't think I'll ever get used to it, I just try to avoid taking the subway at those hours in summer.

I won't deny the sexual frustration amongst men and the frustration when it comes to finding a decent enough female partner, but I'm pretty sure there's some of that on the other side as well. I'm starting to hear some women take the bi route, because men just seem hopeless and they prefer to open up possibilities. There's a lot of sexual frustrated women as well, depends on the country and depends on the part of the population. It's not because you have sex or that you have lots of sex that the quality is guaranteed. I'm pretty calm when it comes to the dating scene, though I lost my virginity early and I had my fair share of action, but I check my more active friends and the stories I get are about frustration alright, even when they do get some. Quantity doesn't mean quality, some of the stories I get told are just sad or just hilarious (in a bad way usually). One trend I see in many countries is hosuewives being extremely frustrated sexually, some cheat, but some don't and remain frustrated forever. Now It's also fair to note the differences in scale/rating, lower tier men and women don't sleep around as much, some women and men actively discourage dating by their behaviour and appearance/looks. Considering the increasing amount of porn, cheating and all kinds of sex related topics, I'd say lots of societies all over the global are growing more and more sexually frustrated.

Family is nice, I got a bit family, my living family three is 100+ people. I mean some of my cousins are grand parents, most of my uncles & aunts are still alive, but man, the older I got, the more skeletons that came out and there were some really dark family secrets.
Some of my family members are fine, but some are not good, some I don't/won't even talk to anymore. I do recognise I was tight with all my grand parents when they were alive, I was also younger and I didn't know much. I don't know wtf happened, my mom when you got older she started remember fucked up shit that had happened to her and she started telling me some of it. Other times, people are way harsher, some of the makes were way too violent, while some were fine.
I'm really close with some family and other family member, I greet, but that's about it.
I do think that a good friend circle around out kind of acts as a family, but they need to be really good friends.

100% is a masterpiece, not my favorite anime, but it's the top list, same goes for overall stories in all genres. The ending was about what I expected, but while watching it, it hurt, I cried a little, but that wasn't the real pain, what hurt the most was the existencial pain I felt, from life & death, the human cycle of history repeating itself, life & death being meaningless. I've lost a few dear people in the last couple of years, it's never easy, I kind of felt similar while ending this anime. I wouldn't call it good or bad, it's just really hard to swallow, but it is what it is, it is by all means a realistic ending to such a storyline.
I do warhammer and I'm a real warhammer lore nerd, to me this is very 40k ish type of storyline.
As for finishing a great anime... been there a fair amount of times, but indeed it's not something that happens a lot. You saw the end, it's good or bad, it's a shitshow, it's a cryfest at the end. Some animes you finish, but you don't want to let them go, but you have to, because they're finished. I do appreciate when animes end, cause so damn many of them are either on going or they some times even never finish (usually cause the writer died). Without any doubt, this was a really special journey that I'll never forget.
Animes that I had a hard time after they ended: Code Guess, yes cliché answer but it's true, it's not my favorite anime, for sure att on Titan is better, but it was still hard watching the end.
2 of the hardest to watch animes, that tore me apart: Your lie in April, Clannad (+afterstory), that was the roughest ones I ever watched, they're unforgetable. Another hard to forget anime that had incredible animation and also was dragged out: Violet Evergarden.
Fruit basket had a good ending, but I was still left with the same feeling, Golden Time was about the same unforgetable memories.
Not many long animes have an ending, it's rough when a Long anime does end. Currently 2 series that do pop up to mind, they are unforgettable and the ending will be the same I bet: One Piece and Berserk (manga though), now Naruto, HxH and Bleach do still hold really special spots in my heart as well. Bleach kind of ended, Naruto kind of ended the manga though it continued with Boruto which I tried to watch & read, but I just couldn't and Hunter X Hunter, oh that's a rough one, the manga is on going, but I can safely say I don't like the current arc, it's going nowhere ad it's just bad.
My fav manga is Berserk and the author of Attack on Titan has stated he was inspired from Berserk, to me it's the greast manga ever, I was destroyed when the author died, glad the manga continued with his assistent. Now my second favorite manga is Gantz, it's just such an incredible abolsutely crazy ride and this one has an ending too. Third spot I'm not so sure, but there's many contendors.

My view on women and dating: I don't give a fuck
Not against it, barely put an effort in. Girls come to me. I have not been in love in over 10 years and it's wonderful, cause I remember how much it hurt, again, not against it, but I'm in a pretty good place right now. I think I'm fairly good looking, I'm nearly 40, I look good, I work out still, I look younger. I don't mean to be a good guy or a bad boy, I just don't care, I'm myself, I do my hobbies, I my life, I have fun, I have freedom. I do notice, women generally tend to like that.
Rather than being nice, I think what women don't like is a boring guy and as much as people wanna deny it, women do prefer good looking people who take care of themselves.
The one thing I would tell younger guys: be rational & don't ignore red flags.

I know it's a cultural thing, but the whole gaijin thing, is it really necessary? OK the person is foreign, so what? Where's the tatemae? Where's the pretending? I know it's a cultural difference, but here you call somebody a foreigner, that's borderline racist depending on the tone, it's a word you don't hear much, because people know it's rude depending on the context. I don't know the full context from the word gaijin, but in most other countries, people don't go call tourists "foreigners", though I admit some asian countries love to use it, while some asian countries don't use it as much as others. If not racism, it is a form of discrimination, now let's face it, there's plenty of foreign discrimination in Japan.
Why not make foreign guests welcome? I hope this attitude changes in the future.
Now my own experience with "not belonging anywhere": I was born in Chile, I move to Belgium when I was 1,5 years old. My very first language was spanish. Eventually I had to go to school in the local language, that's where I was thrown a completely new language, I had to learn it from 0. I had to go through this twice, cause in this country one half speaks french, most of the other half is dutch speaking (I change schools, I also changed language region.) it was quite the shock but at the same time I learned 2 new languages early on.
Note, Belgium is 35% foreigners origins, this can be single to multiple generations. I do understand, Japan has a much smaller foreigner population, here though it's kind of normal not being full blooded Belgian. Now as I said, there's extra confusion with the 2 main languages. This country doesn't have huge national pride, though some folk love to separate french from dutch speaking, while in the capital, lots of people speak both + English & some other languages at times.
OK back to me: my look. I'm kind of small 1m65 which is average in Latin america, but in Europe it's a bit below average height. At school I was always the smallest, as an adult, I'm still below average, but there's still people below my height, though for the most part I don't care about this, I can't change it anyway.
I used to be more tanned than you average Belgian, but now I pretty much pass as a white dude for most. Through my life I did get the occassional where do you come from? based on my appearance. I am 100% Chilean, but Chile has lots of foreign DNA, plenty of Euro DNA. I got green eyes, black/dark hair, but then my beard is light brown with some touches of blond strains. Basically eyes say european (though still a low percentage of the population, it's still unusual even here), my beard screams: viking ,
but then my hair color and my height tell people something is off. Most belgians have light hair colors, black hair is usually some foreign DNA.
Now my tan, I pass as white most of the time, but I tan like a foreigner, I tan more than usual.
Now In Chile people don't know wtf I am, some think european, some think I'm chilean but with foreign DNA.
OK back to the languages: I speak fluent, I even speak some dialects. 99% of the time, people see me as Belgian, I act & I speak like a Belgian, this is my home country, always has been, I know for a fact I could never ever live in CHile. On some rare occassions, but it does happen, I do get the odd comment: you speak X so well, in my regular life nobody says it though. People who spend enough time with me, usually see me as a Native which I am. Now my parents, they speak only french and some english, but they're still seen as Belgian even though they don't speak fluently (while I do), it doesn't seem to matter much, you live here, you speak the language, you're Belgian. Now yes there's racism, there's discrimination, but it's pretty rare still.
I got 2 nationalities, it's not a big deal. You live here legally for 5 year, you get the right to ask the nationality. (or you get married to a Belgian)
Most of my close friends are Belgian, but I do have friends of all nationalities. Whether and how much you adapt to this country is purely up to you. Some people embrace the Belgian ways and some don't. My parents will die here, but I'm a bit better adapted, for the most part I pass as Belgian, while my parents remain foreign and I kind of feel like it's something they'll never truly change, I mean appearance wise I kind of pass as European, my parents 100% look foreign and it gets a bit worse when they speak.
I am not a giant fan of the way Japan treats their foreigner population, I wish they would be a bit more open & welcoming. It's not just the gaijin thing, it's so painfully clear that Japan has so many social issues to deal with, there's tons of videos on such subjects.
It's unfair how Japan raised people are always discriminated, I get it though, it's a different culture, though I do wish they were a bit more open minded about foreigners. At the same time I do agree Japan needs to preserve their own culture but at the same time they should adapt to the modern world.
1 last thing I will say and this might upset some folk, but it needs to be said: I see a lot of open racism against Chinese, Koreans & other asians from Japanese, it can get really nasty.

Common Tim, more importantly, who is spreading this propaganda? China, Russia, obviously. I confess I didn't really understand the concept of propaganda, I saw it described in books, I heard it being discussed, but it's only in 2022 that I finally saw the concept on tv and on social media, similar techniques used in the cold war, used with modern standards and that when I finally understood the concept. After seeing the Russian propaganda, I went to take a serious look at the Chinese counterpart and in current days you see Hamas employing the exact same techniques, it's no wonder, those folk have made a few trips to Moscow.

@reigee2869 I mean, I don't mind saying, but my own salary, goes from 1k to 4k (can be more actually), depends how much I work truth be told, the average is somewhere in the middle. Most people I know earn between 1,5k to 2K, this is in Belgium, sure some earn more, the average salary is 2,5 in this country according to stats, but that's due to some rich folk making unimaginable amounts of money, my ex boss, I saw his salary, purely randomly saw it, was like 40k (btw talking euros, this is more than US dol). You go to a country like Switserland everyone earns 4K euros and more. France has an average salary a bit lower than Belgium, in practise, I see some people I know only making like 1200 euros working a full month? In spain, it's around 600 and you notice how much cheaper things are. Granted, all these countries use euros, but the same money isn't worth the same when you go buy things. I mean in Spain, you eat extremely well and alot for a cheaper price. Then you go to Scandinavia, I got family there, salary up to 4k, but things are super expensive, when I've been in Switserland things were pretty afforable, more expensive than here, but nothing that crazy. Somebody earning 1,5k in spain is a lot. Now, Back in my home country, my brother in law is a sub officer in the navy, has rised through the ranks and he sadly only earns like 600 euros a month. Plane ticket Chile Spain is like 800-1200 currently, more if you need to travel urgently. I mean, the difference is pretty significant. Some people earn way less. Family only came to visit Europe because they only needed that plane ticket, me & other family members paid for everything here. I've been to South America, travelled to many other countries, talked to so many people. Even Here I know so many latinos and so many other nationalities, such subjects do come up. I come from a poor family, but I'm highly educated, I get exposed to all "classes", I see the clear difference in behaviour alone between a rich & poor person. Personally I prefer hanging out with simple & humble people, doesn't matter how much they make.

@HeartsofPearl That's good, at least people have the will to learn it? Back in Chile I see no will, neither do I see it in Spain or in France, I mean ok sure some wish they could, but they don't make any effort to learn it. What year do your classes start from, how many classes per year and what's the quality. I mean, in my own case, belgium, most teachers speak native level english, 2-3 hours a week starting 10-12 years old. It's enough to speak it fluently byt the end of school. You take Japan, they have more hours of English, but at the end nobody speaks, clearly there is a problem. Spain and France, frankly, every single friend I've asked, they either had like a few english classes in their last 2 years or some no english. Those rare ones who do speak eng, they usually had private lessons. In Chile, I got an aunt who is a teacher and she invited me to her english classes, she speaks it poorly and the content is poor, not much can be expected of those classes. Besides the quality it's the fact that you're slowly forced into the language. First year you're allowed to go back & forth in 2 languages, but less in year 2, in year 3 you're only supposed to speak english and everything is in english. Of course, during the entire time you're doing a lot of dialogues, at first pre written, mostly to work on pronunciation, later you start working on vocabulary. I'd say, there is a way learn english at school in every country, but you need to have good courses and good teachers.

Reasonable position to be in, but I do think this guy needs to work on himself, mostly mentally. His attitude could be better.
I also don't think he lives in the right place and very likely doesn't surround himself with the right people.
I'm in introvert, I really need my alone time, but I still make new friends. I got less friends than I used to, I even had to let some go, cause I noitced they weren't realy friends, but still, I'm human, i socialise and some people end up liking me enough to get to know me better, etc...

yeah, not to brag, but yeah, been called handsome by men and women, at work it's the same. Men don't get many compliments on their look for me it's not that often, but it does happen.
Now, I'm still surrounded by women that I know are trouble, so yeah, it's very hard finding a half decent woman, I know not black pilled, but I know the race is not easy.

@sen touji It is not fair to blame current Japanese people for what happened in the past, that is correct. There is one problem though, there's several situations where victims still alive are asking for explainations and the Japanese governement just denies everything. google "South Korean Court Orders Japan to Pay Compensation for Wartime Sexual Slavery". Note, this is not about Japanese people, this is about something a previous government did and I would say this is a fair thing to ask. What Nazis did was wrong, the current German government fully admits this. That's what's being asked, admit your government did something wrong.
It is not right to hate the entire Japanes population for what happened during WWII.
You have to draw the line between racism and actual war crime commited in the past.
Saying all Japanese people are bad, that is 100% wrong, that's just racism.
I do wonder how familiar Japanese people are with their actual WWII history. I know most gov will prefer to deny or ignore their past in school. I live in Belgium, King Leopold I did some horrible things in Congo, this is not contained in history courses, I only found out about it after school.

@KhoiruunisaRF If I was scared, I wouldn't keep posting these comments in the first place, I'm just trying to be respectful. You can think I'm scared and you may think I'm a coward all you like, if that makes you feel better, go for it! I've been called far worse and still laughed.
Reality is harsh, there's no need to pretend otherwise. It's not about the harshness, it's about sticking to the facts, and that's why it comes out harsh for some people.
On the princess thing, very likely the girl would leave that same guy if he's too good for her. Women, whether they want to admit it or not, they like to be lead by her man. Women say they want nice guys, but in reality they really don't. What they want is a man who stands his ground. Women don't want a prince, they want a warlord :).
I'll put it in another way: women deep down absolutely hate the spoiled rich kid, but they love the business man who build up his empire from scratch. Some still go for the spoiled kid, but they're miserable, even with the money.
Also note, the type of man a woman wants in her early 20ies is not the man she wants past 30.
Culture doesn't matter that much, men remain men and women are just women everywhere. The basic Biological facts remain.

It's a good video, but after watching so many of these, they do feel very repetitive. It makes me wonder if they truly think some of these things like: all westerners speak English??? All Westerners are gentlemen, all Westerners are open, etc.. I mean, I like Japanese woman, but they are not all good looking, in fact the exact same principle applies to all countries in reality, there's good & bad looking, there's average people, etc... Some of these people should just have a couple of chats with foreigners, the West has so many different cultures, so many different habits, so many different looking people, etc... I wonder if deep down they know they're just overgeneralising. I mean, All Westerners speak english, come to Europe, you'll find that most really don't lol. You take a country like France, I'm not kidding when I say: you're about as likely to find somebody who speak Japanese fluently as you are finding a fluent English speaker, very very few people speak english in some European countries.

Groceries & salaries: yes they're cheaper & salaries are also way lower than the US, they're lower than the Euro standard. I mean I've asked Spanish folk, some earn only 600-800 a month, in the richer Euro countries, it's kind of common to earn like 2K a month or more, if you go to scandinavia it's probably more towards 3-4k. Spain is cheaper than France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany.
1 giant difference, if you're fully inside & covered by the healthcare, it's not free, it's not even very cheap, but it is affordable. That is for most common stuff, the rare deseases, in that case you it may be unaffordable even in europe.
The homeless: there's plenty in europe with the migrant crisis, depends on the region, some places are pretty bad.
Security: generally I would say better than the US, but depends where really, some spots in europe are really dangerous. Some spots are insanely safe, but yeah there's some spots where cops can't even enter.
I'll share one piece of experience that's very hard to unlock: when you speak the local language, it opens new doors and you truly get to know the locals & the local culture, it's even better if you speak the local accent. It's a whole new game once you speak the languages in Europe. It's just not the same, you get stuck a bit speaking only English. I mean, take spain or France, sure some people speak English, but I'll be frank, most French & Spanish people do note speak Spanish, I've got a fair amount of friends & people I know of both nationalities; finding a french guy who speaks fluently is rare, most don't speak english, I would say it's even worse in spain.

Japan is no stranger to unethical massacres, they did some evil shit during WWII and the government never apologised, they even hide it in the textbooks. How can you forgive something the country denies? Seen many docus on this subject, to this day, they act like they did nothing wrong. On the other side the German Gov apologised and they took the steps in the right direction, Japan mostly denies why it's military did during WII.
I'm not defending the US, they did some evil shit during WWII, the 2 atomic bombs were bad, but I would argue the 60 cities they firebombed were worse, they firebombed Tokyo 2 weeks after the 2 big bombs and it's estimated they killed way more people then. The US has a history of some unbelievably evil shit. I'm pretty sure the war woudl have ended even without atomic weapons.
Now during WWII, factually the US treated people better than the Japanese government did, while at the time yes, they did also kill a lot of innocent people.
Check out Dan Carlin's Hardcore history, he has a free youtube channel, he has an extensive series on this subject. Japan conquers a big part of asia, they way they do it is pure evil, what happens to the locals is pure evil. Without any doubts, the Nazis & Japan were the 2 most evil factions in WWII (Soviets actually were right up there, I mean today they're still pulling the same crap in Ukraine.
The slavery arguement: oh boy, that's a complicated one which so many get wrong. You had slaves of all races, even white people were enslaved, nobody was spared, why the fuck do some people only focus on black slaves??? Here's the best part: it's calculated that today the world has the most slaves it ever had in any period of history. Yes in 2023 there's still slaves, why not try to solve that issue? Focus on modern slaves, fix this present problem.

Here's my experience on the subject:
Yes some of these beautiful are nuts indeed, I found out the hard way, at the same time some of them are also lonely and not nuts yet, cause due to circumstance men mostly avoid talking to them.
Being slightly autistic, I still go for honesty, some find it refreshing, some hate it, if there's chemistry, she'll like it and it can go further, I do think honesty only works with sheer confidence and likely you're decent looking, it does help if you're good looking. In think the other part of the equation is simply being used to talking to women. Beautiful women are still women, they just have a bonus in life, but over time that bonus fades with time. Now in my own case, I've date beautiful women, I've had a 10/10, if it happens again, it's nice, but I don't make it such a big deal anymore, besides I'm too old to only care about looks, I'd rather have a 7-8 with a nice personality over the beautiful girl that's sooo pretty, but she's boring AF or stupid AF.

@kangtheconquerortheninth3826 very sad to hear, but yeah there's many horror stories with kids, mom or dads fleeing to Japan and not much can be done, then there's the alemony & costudy rules in Japan which are just..so wrong.
Japan has so many societal problems and not many people want to recognise them, fixing them is not for any time soon.
Yeah, at one point I thought it would be hot to date a native Japanese women, but now, very likely I might go as far as to actively avoid such a situation.
As for Korean, personally never been attracted to that country or that society. No offence to Koreans, but their women seem really fake and money hungry, 2 things I hate.
1
-
@MrPurge11 Yeah, attraction alone is for a one night only, but if you want something longtherm, you need 2 things, it has to happen naturally and second, there needs to be genuine desire, both ways, but honestly most from her.
Basically she shouldn't be looking to date per se, but somehow you still get together, that a good start and then basically she is heads over heels in love with you. The hard part is keeping that feeling intact, otherwise that's just a fling, it may be intense at first, but it's just a fling.
Like I said above she needs to be open minded and probably shouldn't be too tied to Japan and the Japanese way.
Realisticly seen, a longtherm relationship with Japanese women is probably VERY unlikely. I'm not saying it's impossible or that you shouldn't do it, but very likely it's not happening.

There's one bigger issue that concerns me about Japan, the education system, which I am not a fan of. The safety component, where I live in europe, it's really safe, at worst you get harassed by cops, but they're just doing their work. While I say this, I am by no means a fan of the US educational system, it's way worse and in the US you also have major problems with healthcare.
Now Japan does have the extra issue of the language, but aside the workculture, generally I do find their traditional culture interesting, ok their dating culture is also pretty problematic, I still could see myself in Japan, but never in a million years would I move to the US, fine to visit, I wouldn't want to stay.
1
-
@patrickfitzgerald2861 The USA, yeah man, that is a giant mess. As for Japan, I'm not sure the change will come, some of these problems became societal norms, or they became something akin to traditions, they seem to be deeply rooted into their society, I'm not so sure it's that easy to change. Sure a lot of the older folk will die in the next 20 years, but even people in their 50ies now, will still be present then and some might still be in leading positions. Japan is changing slowly, some things remain bad though, Nobita has talked about many of these issues. Look at the current US, it's only becoming worse with time.

Everything in the movie was accurate? Did you watch the podcast? I'm guessing no, because otherwise you'd know, James himself actually admitted he got some things wrong, starting with the gladiator rant, there was the Diaz being a vegan (he's vegetarian), James fully admitting he relies on supplements, when there's clearly people who don't need supplements to be healthy. So many points/critics to the movie were completely ignored, because he knows he can't deal with some issue, there's also the simple fact that much of the nutrition science isn't absolute. The science is still evolving and some piece we don't know much about. Now it's also noteworthy how James himself admits that, at one point he reads the recommendations from the USDA; they recommend a mostly vegan diet with some meat. Most of the movie was all about going vegan, there's no hard facts that support going full vegan, there's actually a fair amount of arguements and facts against going for this extreme. One thing not mentioned in this "debate" was the fact that James Cameron who has a vegan food enterprise worked on this movie, that should be a clear conflict of interest, it's a clear case of vegan propaganda. Now that's what bothered me the most about James, how dishonest he was, he came on the podcast pretending that his movie was vegan propaganda, when it clearly was.

@farleygibbs6320 Joe takes supplements, he gets testosterone too, so what? What 1 person does is relevant why? It's anecdotal and it's completely irrelevant, Joe can do whatever he wants. "Everybody takes supplements", ok based on what hard evidence do you say that? None. I don't get why it's ok to repeat generlised statement without any evidence, I guess you don't like hard evidence. Now even IF it was true, how exactly would you even prove this? Not all cows get supplements, that's another generalised baseless statement. You talk about USA like it's the only country in the world, I don't even live in the USA, we got a much different quality in food in Belgium and we have very different food regulations. Belgium has one of the best laws when it comes to animals (not perfect but still better most countries in the world), as for crops, they're small yields, as the country is very small, our grains and local crops are high quality stuff. I've had my blood tested over the years, it's always more than fine, I'm slowly heading towards my 40ies, I've only had 1 minor surgery done on me so far, my wisdom teeth, otherwise never had any problems. I've never broken any bones either. BTW that whole B-12 rant on it coming from the soil and from water, it's not proven, yet he kept repeating it. As for an even bigger question, is meat bad for you? Why? Nearly 4 hours later and Wilks didn't have any hard evidence, to be more accurate there is not much hard evidence to give on that subject, yet Vegans act as if there is. The same logic was used to say gladiators eat vegan while there really isn't hard evidence to prove that either, on the contrary, the same study James used got new info published later on (you can look this up), the same people admitted there was meat in their diet after all. Oh and BTW recently James Wilks wife posted pictures of her shopping cart recently and long story short, his family eats absolute crap processed foods. Considering how hard he defends the vegan diet and how much he insists going vegan is more healthy, he should lead by example, yet his family eats crappy food. His wife deleted the pictures from her instagram later on, but people took screens and you can find them online. You know why this was one of the worst JRE ever? Because James was such an asshole, he did a terrible job of defending his point of view, not to mention he got some of the facts wrong, while he just ignored some of the debunking because it's correct. Too bad for him, he would have been a lot more convincing if he had been polite and had come to convince only with facts and not with rudeness ,aggressivity and personal attacks on Chris. Recently I listened to a couple of videos of this guy called Earthling Ed, now that's a vegan that's convincing, he was reasonable and well mannered, that's how you convince people. The reaction of the vegan community really disappointing and showed me how toxic it is, Wilks attitude was the complete opposite of civil, he is just a bully, but that was celebrated, very stupid move. Vegan don't need any more convincing, non vegans do and with this attitude, the only thing James Wilks achieved with his podcast is portray all vegans like assholes. How many people listen to the JRE, only some of the vegans thought this was a good one, when it was in fact one of the worst. One thing I've noticed and many other people have noticed as well: James Wilks does not know how to evaluate scientific evidence. If the Game changers ever gets a full series or a second movie they should 100% replace James, he is such a toxic person.

I really hope this guy turns around with his podcasting and future endeavours, People like Joe are exactly the opposite of him. Joe had to stop his religious argueing on certain subjects. His argueing on climate change is religious, it's not rational and worst of all he got several facts wrong and Joe called him out on his BS at certain times. I mean, take the car issue, boats polute so much more and so do planes, not to mention China and India not giving a single fuck about climate and there's so many other countries who don't give a fuck either (looks at the middle east and many other places), most of the countries in the Paris group only pretend to be doing something for the planet, but they're not really, all of these countries are failing in therms of fighting climate change, because even amongst people that fully believe the climate change narrative, it still is a major issue, the focus is just turned fully towards budget, how much money can we afford to spend on this? I don't think he means to do be like this, but he is ill informed on certain subjects, like climate change. If you really study the subject, you find out really fast that the climate science is not reliable at all and the so called predictions have failed many times so far, the big picture is still right so far and we are 100% seeing the consequences. There's so many signs that climate change is happening, here in Europe during the summer we're starting to see african vultures in our fields, that is not normal at all. Another fun thing I saw happen last summer; mainland Europe at one point was hotter than the middle East and scientists here are telling us we need to get used to hotter summers like these. There's lots of reliable info on the subject, but I fully admit it's not always easy to find. As for whether we'll survive the climate apocalypse, I'm with Joe on that one, I'm fairly sure we'll survive it, though it could get pretty bad.

5"7, going bald, good beard, jacked, based on how many women I attract, would say I'm attractive. Here's the thing though, in my experience it's mostly the confidence that brings girls and being interesting keeps them at your side.
I think guys (,including myself in the past) focus too much on the fysical attributes thinking that's what girls like, because that's how guys think, but they have different preferences than us.
Here's the thing, I had periods when I felt like shit, still looked the same, yet didn't get any attention. Then when I feel better, they come back, that's not coincidence.
I would say: take care of yourself, work on yourself both mentally and physically, then build some confidence and don't be afraid to talk to girls.
Most girls I've dated were taller than me, though I fully admit, some girls told me in my face: I'm attraced to you, I really like you, but you're too short for me. Whatever, still dated their friend :) and then they came after me :).
Looking good is a good bonus, being confident and having a good salary is more important I'd say. (it's not a money thing, it's status, which often gives confidence and it just allows you to do stuff)
A good way to get confidence is focus on yourself, usually the confidence comes along the ride.
Joker is 100% right, at the end of the day, focus on yourself first. See women as a bonus, forget about women being a life goal.

@astrahcat1212 fair answer, I still do stand by my point, I know it's not easy to process, it's not easy to accept how harsh reality can be. Believe it or not, I am in introvert and I love spending most of my time alone. I build miniatures, I do gunpla & many other hobbies. What you describe in both your answers is friendship not love. Friendship can be really intense, but it's not love.
When it comes to sex, the most intense feeling ever actually comes after, when you just hug. The exchange of hormones is just undescribable, you have to experience it, but I agree with the right person.
The soul mate thing to me, it's the same as proving the existence in god, it can't be done. People change, the difference is just so huge, both people change in a relationship. I'm not even sure love truly last and that's perfectly ok. You can find somebody compatible for the rest of you life, I just don't think you should look at it in a similar way to religion: believe it without needing any proof of existance. I'm a more science based atheist, sry.
I mean, even sexual compatability really matters in a relationship, doesn't matter if you love each other, that also needs to work, it's just basic biology.
I wonder 1 thing though: is she still alone & virgin? Even if she is, just forget about her. I've been lied to before by women, I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't a virgin truth be told. Nevermind, it's not even relevant.
BTW, this whole conversation, you could have face to face with another human, don't be afraid to talk to other humans. Sure some are assholes, but there's OK ones here and there. Talking to people is not so bad, at times it even feels good.
Anyway, I wish you luck in life. I think you still got plenty of time to find the one, but as I said, consider younger, I hope you take care of yourself and this becomes possible. This will only work though if you speak to people and go out from time to time. I don't know if you're still stuck at home, I hope you aren't atm. I genuinly hope you'll be ok!
1
-
@astrahcat1212 Respectfully, I'm older than you, I'm not a virgin either. Let's just say my salary is not average either and I'm in top shape.
I've lived long enough, talked this over so many times. The Soul mate thing never existed except for in some religion, that's where it comes from, it doesn't come from rationality. Love is temporary, whether you want to admit it ot not. Just being purely rational, I accept reality as it is, we can agree to disagree, but sooner or later, reality hits you.

I think more than ever do I notice both sides not really understand what the other side wants, even when you're redpil or blackpil, I notice most guys still don't fully get it. Women don't get that men don't want fat women, men don't care whatsoever about your degree or how much you make. Women also think they want X, but they don't realize the price they need to pay for it, the biggest problem is women are insanely entitled.
At the same time, you got guys calling themselves Redpil, they study it like their life depends on it, but they don't take care of themselves, they're fat, they're not improving their lives.
Neither side makes themselves into what the other gender wants, they think they understand what the other wants, but in truth, they really don't get it.
As for the age thing, I can confidently confirm women boldly go for older. I work with 17-20 year olders, they're not even shy about it, I asked several girls at work, 18 years old, what guy would you like to date? Again, they're 18, they said: a guy in their 30ies. I mean, they're not even looking at guys of their own age, they're not looking at guys 25 years old, because they know they're broke.

This whole Red Pill thing got into Clownworld a long time ago. I don't think there ever was a clear definition.
As for the 4 guys, Sneako, he's young, he's not my thing, I couldn't disagree with him more, besides I did follow him for a bit, the guy changes opinion like the wind.
The 2 sanest in there are either Destiny or Sartain, but both are very different. Sartain has his shit together for now, he's a real man living a man's life. Destiny, you may not like him, not agree with him, but the dude is really smart, like authistic lvl supersmart. The debate itself went pretty well, but as more time passed it got kinda boring. I mean if you check the debate, Destiny made some good points, Sartain & Rollo as well.

I think changing jobs is still the obvious answer, even if at your age in this economy it isn't exactly an easy feat. It is either that or changing where you live.
Is there perhaps some possible problems at your company, if you even attempt to look for another job? Your degree does allow you to work in multiple fields, some of the skills may not be 100% the same, but some so transfer. You also speak Japanese & english, this could be a gateway to a new job. I don't think it's impossible to change jobs, even at your age.
Here in the West, people are forced to change jobs, at any age, even later in life, cause companies don't seem to last long enough. I had change jobs, my dad lost his job 1 year before his pension, he's working somewhere else, he found something else in the same sector, been working there for over a year now. I lost my job during covid, found something else, atm, actively looking for something, granted I am a lot younger than you.
Deep down you do know it is the answer, but it's hard road to take, but I think it might be your best option.
As for the Mortgage, I did not know Japan had such high mortgages, here, a house mortgage is usually around 20 years, my own parents, some of my friends have paid their house over 20 years. You might have picked the wrong house & wrong area to live in. If you don't change jobs, changing house is the other possible option.
The other route that's not exactly easy either, it might even be the harder road; it is have a side job, some other income, youtube, patreon, selling some type of product?
One way to find new jobs is through friends & through people you know

It's way simpler than this; human attraction is a natural thing through a complex biological process, it is however studied & explained in part. They got no chemistry, she doesn't have genuine desire for the guy, but he's supposed to pay 2000 $? Yeah, that sounds like a horrible deal.
Here's the thing, if you have chemistry with a girl, if she likes you, it doesn't matter where you take her, it doesn't matter what you do with her.
Having to pay 2000 to get access to her inner leg region, that certainly sounds a lot like the oldest profession. Again dating is about chemistry, not about monetary exchange for a service, this is ridiculous. Let me put it this way: what if she actually really likes the guy, but he doesn't spend 2000 on her, should she just drop him?

Why can't I fully trust evolutionary psychology? It's mostly the methods used, but what bothers me most is the psychology part. I've talked to so many quacks over the years calling themselves psychologists. The main flaw with this "science" is the fact that the brain and consciousness are mostly unknown regions in actual science. The reason I don't trust psychology is mostly practical; so many ideas coming from psychology simply don't work, or at least they can't effectively be applied to our societies. I mean, it's such a giant difference with for example basic biology or basic anatomy, we know very well how the body works and we can predict and prevent a lot of injuries, but we don't fully understand the body yet, hence why there's still deseases and injuries we cannot cure yet, yet we still can make a case we know a fair bit about the human body. This is not something you can say about human psychology, there's some good ideas and I think some could be considered valid concepts, but we're still very far from being able to say: "we understand a lot about the human mind". In practise it's a fact that we cannot accurately predict how humans behave, to the point where we could prevent certain behaviours or perhaps predict and prevent them. I mean, just take criminality, why isn't it prevented based on psychology? Why can't we predict when somebody is about steal, rape or murder? I think a lot of psychologists pretend to know how humans work, but truth is they truly don't, all because their science is close to being pseudoscience, simply because the actual science is horribly incomplete. I do think Saad is amongst the better people in the field.

Every single couple I know, most of the BTW aren't married, a minority is married, but still have prenup papers, they have everything set up, separated, it's logical, nobody wants to be screwed. Again though most aren't married, won't ever get married, but they still have the paperwork set up for whate they own, just in case, nobody got pissed, everybody agreed.
27? he looks way older. So his dad was rich, got it.

Planning isn't always good, it kills the hype. Some times it's good to be surprised, this is why on my first day of any city trip, I just go on a random walk in the city, not a single transport, just walk around, doesn't even have to be in the center of town, doesn't have to be during the day either, just walk around and look at stuff. Usually though I do try to find a hotel somewhere near the center. Just walk around, when you get tired, go into some random place that looks decent enough and enjoy the great meal. Day 2, that's when you plan/follow the plan.
For Japan, yeah probably should plan at least where you go, but yeah considering their culture, yes probably plan ahead, though at the same time, I would/will leave some days off for random walks.

I baffles me, how most women don't seem to get, past 35 going towards 40, it's not that having kids is harder, for many women it's impossible, to close to impossible to have kids.
My cousin got his 39 year old gf pregnant, by accident, they both didn't want kids (which I don't buy, at least not from her), now many of her female friends who are 37-38 can't get pregnant, they're tired and failed, some were even told in their faces that at 37, they could not have kids anymore. The kid was born without a problem, my cousin is happy for now, still that is the exception, that is not the norm, the reason why I'm ok with this, these 2 have known each other since they were 4, so yeah.
I've had this discussion many times with women and they don't seem to get how their bodies work. I studied biology at university, for me these were simple facts, but I knew this way before university, my mom, my aunts all started having trouble past 35 and I heard this speech so many times from docters: getting pregnant past 35 is not recommended.

"Why Japan's Porn Industry May Go Away Soon"
I don't think Nobita-san understands "male nature". Majority of men want satisfaction fast & easy and porn gives that when it comes to sexuality. Not just that, it gives indirect access to a lot of females. Most men do not have access to a lot of females, this is only a minority in the population, it doesn't matter the country, there's men like that everywhere.
Japan clearly has problems when it comes to dating and I would go as far as saying it's worse than in the West, though some may argue it's as bad for some different reasons.
Porn just fills a gap and as long as the main problem of relationships and dating won't be fixed, this will not go away, it just won't. The demand is always there, always will be.
I wonder if these laws were passed as an extreme reaction to the problem, passed with malicious intent or the people in power passed these laws purely out of ignorance, not analysing the full situation. It's painfully clear that producers also deserve some rights and these waiting periods are ridiculous. Sure the actresses deserve and need to be protected, but it needs to be a win win for both parties.
This will end either way: either the spectacular rise of illegal porn or some will adapt to the system, but I suspect some will adapt to the system by applying illegal methods trying to remain in a grey zone when it comes to the law.
I thing I did notice, I checked this: lots of AVs are still being made, this isn't affecting everyone, clearly.
If I had to bet money on how this will end? My money would be on: the government just made everything worse.

Point num 1 might be underestimated, I think it's a really big problem within society.
My own dad is one of those people who thinks sleep is bad, sleep is the enemy, my mom on the other side sleeps as much as possible, possibly sleeps too much. I really wish my dad didn't fight sleeping, it's pretty clear this has taken a toll on him. During covid my dad and now that he's retired he doesn't work most of the time, he has no excuse, yet I find him sleeping on the couch at noon, same goes for the evening, if he's in the couch watching tv, that's a big chance that I'll find him hunched sleeping. About half of the time or more, he's not able to simply finish a movie without falling asleep, I don't think this is normal.
I sleep pretty well. If nothing went wrong, I'll sleep exactly 7 hours and I'm good. If I'm exceptionally tired, I will sleep more, such times are always because of some intense physical activity. I don't have a regular shedules, however if I go to bed at X time, I will usually wake up 7 hours later. I more of less apply most of the things you advised. Since I was a teenagers, shutters keep the room pitch dark, I do fall asleep even with light, I've tested this, but I still prefer pitch dark, I also do most days try to apply light on my face, if I can direct sunlight when I wake up, I try to do this before anything else, truth is I can't always do this, the sun isn't always there, I'm not always at home, etc...
The routine part I just can't do, it's impossible with my work, the best, the closest I manage is those religious 7 hours of sleep with no interuptions.
I don't drink coffee ever, in late years I barely drink alcohol, last beer I had was in August 2023. I have alcohol on special occassions, but I actively try to avoid it, I only drink with when I'm with friends, but now I just stick to non alcoholic drinks. Temperature & enviroment are good, they're not as extreme as in this video, but I absolutely love my bed, I absolutely love my memory foam pillows. I do admit guilty to doing other things in bed (the obvious 2 people thing and I also enjoy watching tv in bed, these are 2 habits I just enjoy too much)
I absolutely love my bedroom, it's the safest most relaxing place ever, it is my own temple. I do think, in the future I might look for a place to separate bedroom & some other stuff.
I admit to at times being overstimuated by ideas and things in my bedroom.
I do gather data when I can, I test out stuff, etc... this is one of the many reasons why I barely drink alcohol amongs many things.
I thing I do think one thing is fair to mention, which you didn't: some people are easy sleepers and some people sleep less easily. I've fallen asleep in places that weren't confortable, but I slept just fine, best example that comes to mind: sleeping in tents outdoors, I sleep just fine on the ground in a sleeping bad in a tent. I don't fight sleep, I sleep when I can. I am not a morning person, I much prefer evening & night. Through my life, morning is usually when bad things happened, meanwhile evening & night were mostly when good things happened. I prefer night because I'm all alone, nobody bothers me, there's no sun, there's not too much noise either.

@Spiriax I'm not judging per se, I'm only giving my opinion based on facts & stats I know. I'm quite familiar with the subject. yes they're still together, from what I can tell, the husband might even like that side of her, I mean, he knew about it from the start, that's how they met in the first place. Watching porn with her son, you have to admit, that part is weird. Here the reality though, depression rates in people who do porn are sky high. Have you check their suicides rates? Japan naturally has high suicide rates and those got even higher during covid and it's a sad reality that a lot of those were females, often working in the sex industry. There's quite a few documentaries online about it. Covid was really rough for Japanese sex workers. Most guys very likely wouldn't be ok with this, the son part, I'd like to believe most people should be against it. Peer bonding has been studied extensively amongst men and women, enformed opinions can be made on the subject. It's a fact that having too many partners can affect the way people bond with each other. I don't even need to know her background to know for a fact that she very likely grew up with a single parent or either no parents. I just hope she'll be ok in the future, I wish her the best. I don't think she needs to regret her choices, but she certainly didn't pick an easy path in life.

This woman has some major issues. I speak Japanese enough to grasp her intonation, that combined with her bodylanguage. This woman has the characteristics of a sociapath with sadistic tendencies. It so obvious she lied several times, for example, the pregnant bit, yeah, that was herself, it's so painfully clear.
As for the number, it's probably way more than 20, can probably put it way past 40 easily. This one guy hurt her really badly, you don't go on such a crusade for revenge for no reason. I doubt very highly that she has any true friends with her personality, people pick up on the bad signs sooner or later.
As for the type of man she keeps attracting. It's so obviously they use her for sex indeed. A guy who has a good life, he does not need to settle down, it's not about the sex per se, it's about the freedom, some of these guys may have been clueless, but very likely some knew exactly what was going on.
Here's the thing: society filters out individuals like her, considering her past, she will 100% end up alone and unhappy. Her trip to the USA will not go well, it's so obvious.
No, men don't want only sex, I'm a F pervert, I admit it, but there's more to life than just sex, sex is only one of the many pleasure of life.

Yep, good advice.
I'm stuck in this one job, atm got 2 jobs going on, 1 is super chill, my main job... I love the, people there, but the work itself fucking sucks, though I got used to doing it.
I also need to move in the next 1-2 years, that won't be a problem, but I really need to change jobs. I've been sending my info to folks, but so far no luck, but I'm not giving up, I'll eventually find a better job.
SO basically, I need a better job, certainly something more chill to work at and I need a bigger place, I hope in 2 years I'll be there, I'll set new goals once I'm there.
PS: sry about the politics channel, personally did find the subject interesting enough, it affects us all no matter what we think or want. I don't live in the US and never will, but US politics still affect the rest of the world sadly.

@missplainjane3905 Never been to Japan, had interactions with Japanese people here and in other countries, somehow even outside of their own country, they still carry their own cultural manners and that is fine, but it's confusing for foreigners.
The one thing I've noticed with a lot of Japanese people is the fact that they have these weird rules they follow, in society, at work, at school, etc...
But never to rarely do they ask themselves: is this rational? Is this a good rule?
Do you watch Nobita in Japan? He amongst a couple of other youtubers confronts many of these problems.
Japan is extremely modern in some ways, while being stuck in the past for some things. I find it heartbreaking to see some deep issues not being solved and it's like there's no will fix them, just take the fact that Japan is the one country with the most prostitutes in the world, also has a fair amount of sugardaddy girls, which are closely related. This is a giant problem, but it's rooted in many deep issues.
2 things I notice with a lot of Japanese people, actually also the case in the West, but less and for different reasons: there's a lot of lonely people and people are not happy, some times they're even depressed.
As I said, the tatemae culture creates a type of barrier, it makes people seem coldhearted, which they are not, still makes them look that way. As I said, for work this is fine, for normal human interactions, this is contraproductive.
I mean, I'll take one example which I've heard so many times. Foreigners living in Tokyo, they're standing in line, doesn't matter where, but let's just say at a food stand. Nobody will talk to them, everyone keeps to themselves. It's understandable, but it's also a bit sad if this goes on forever.
Here, when I go get some fries & hamburgers, there's a line. Random stanger starts talking to you and it's fun. This one time, I ended up talking with a guy I didn't know for about an hour, when I went home I felt really good. This other time, I was talking with a friend in Spanish and this other guy approached; "oh you guys are also Latin Americans?"Long story short, we talked for awhile, yes we came from neighbouring countries, we exchanged numbers as we don't live too far from eachother, we later did a bbq together. Why did that guy even talk to us? He doesn't know many people in the region, he's a bit lonely, this silly interaction made both our lives better.
All cultures have good & bad aspects, however it's not good to keep the bad aspects. Sooner or later a culture needs to evolve into a better version of itself.
From the outside perspective, also being involved with many cultures, you get a different view and that's why I comment on other cultures.
Before I go, I'll go over 1 subject again, to make a good closing point.
Tatemae used in Dating.
Japan has a problem of childbirth, it's pretty sexless and marriage rates are going down every year.
Presenting yourself as a fake polite person makes dating difficult to impossible. This person you're interacting, you're trying to date him/her. In the long run, you'll get to know this person intimately, it's pointless to lie & avoid your real nature, just be yourself. You fall in love with a person exactly because you admire him/her while fully accept his/her flaws? The whole Tatemae creates a barrier that doesn't let people in. It's not just that, it also wastes a lot of time for the party that's interested.
Humans are social animals, we crave human interactions. I don't think it's good fighting biological urges.

Something I started noticing during covid and it's worse and worse, here in Brussels, I'm seeing more and more young homeless people, it's a mix of foreign ones, but I would actually say the majority are local homeless.
I am not surprised to see so many homeless in Japan, I saw your previous videos, but it's not just that; I buy stuff directly from Japan because it's cheaper and the yen is doing bad and it's been going for awhile. I looked into this and it turns out that the economy isn't doing well and it's not new either. There's so much pressure to go to a good good, a good unviersity, but the salaries are pretty low, not extremely low, actually not too far from what people get paid here, but if you took the same degrees here, you would earn more. It's painfully clear how both Japanese education and the work culture are flawed. As for the Economy, Japan makes the big mistake of focussing only or mostly on Japan and not focus on the global market, while there is plenty of demand for many Japanese products.

Aside the grey hair, you look really good, this also means you're very likely to be healthy. I don't know if you do any sports or work out, I'm sure you eat healthy.
You do look very boring, but being a dad, that is fine, it's not a problem. I don't mean to sound rude, but your attitude also comes over as very boring and there I can tell you're not too happy with your life.
My suggestion: find at least 1 hobby you can enjoy for yourself. Working out, for some people doing sports, some activity is fun, you could try model kits? Gunpla? (it is a very relaxing hobby) Gaming perhaps? Basically keep yourself busy outside of the family life, you still need some fun in your life. It's possible to have fun with the family. If your salary is good as you describe, you should be able to go on occassional vacations, Japan has plenty of good places to visit, if you can afford it, travel to other countries.
It is possible to enjoy life, if you had some hobby, I don't think you would feel as empty, your attitude would also change and your family would see the improvement, your friends would also notice it. People who are happy & busy, they're much pleasant to be around. Your life doesn't have to be boring, it can be enjoyable.

OK, losing friends, not being able to make friends later in life is normal, sorry to say, it's just just Japan, though from what I hear, it is even harder to make friends in Japan.
Before I say anything about the friends, I'll adress the alcohol drinking: you don't need it in your life, in fact for your health it bad to drink alcohol. It's free calories, technically it's a poison for the body, it messes with your sleep, I do I admit I still enjoy the taste of certain alcoholic drinks.
I never had a problem with drinking, my last beer was august 2023. I do still go out, I still meet with friends, I just don't drink anymore. It's not that I will never drink again, I just don't see why I should. If I have a drink, I'll have some soda or something, very few drink, might just only have a coke on a night out.
Ok going back to friends. I mentioned in your other video, having hobbies: some hobbies are 1 on 1, very lonely, but some are group activities. There's certain sports that force interaction due to their nature, whatever hobby done in groups can create new connections and eventually lead to friendship. Perhaps you could try to talk to neighbours? Try to talk to some people are work? There's also the school your kids are at, at times the parents are things in common.
Personally, somehow I'm still friends with people from Highschool, that is the majority of my close friends, I did make some friends at university, which I still talk to 20 years after, but here and there I manage to make a new friend, it is rare, but it does happen.
How to make new friends even late in life: in short, talk to people, if you got thing in common, a friendschip will be automatic, when you got the same hobby, you will want to share that hobby with each other. You could even look online(forums, social media, etc...), if you ever find some hobby you enjoy, see if there's people in the area with the same hobby and meet up.
I changed work, did make some new friends, this isn't the worst idea, at times you may want to change work or even change where you live, in your case, that's probably not possible, but you can find a new work, not because you need it, but because it will be less boring to trying something different.
Some of the new friends I've met through mutual friends. Some very rare cases, I've talked to strangers somewhere and we somehow became friends and kept in touch.
I do think this is a problem Japan has, everyone keeps to themselves, I would try to break costum, I know it's not natural, but I would try it. You make new friends by meeting new people and talking to them. Not everyone you talk to and keep in touch is a friend either, I mean, my neighbours I talk to, I've had drinks with, but we're not friends, because we don't have much in common, but I do still like them as people. The same logic applies to people at work, I regularly talk to some co-workers, but I only visited some of them at home, I know their family, I know their kids, in this case the bonds are deeper than just co-workers.

Good beers, but we got even better ones, I like all these 3, but they are very commonly sold beers, they are mid strong beers for me, there's Kasteelbier which is either 13 or 14°, those you have to drink super cold and you only drink like 1 or 2, again they have to be chill or they're hard to drink.
PS: pour em more slowly, take your time, glass at an slight angle, this avoids de foam.

The political twist is bad, but the situation itself it pretty tricky. Fucking Americans are the best at giving the most fucked up political twist to whatever random situation.
Most people are not trained to face a knife attacker. I've actually had that training, I know what to do, but I'm the exception, I would jump in and stop him, no need to choke, can just lock him, most people don't know shit about leg or arm locks. Would you have stopped him? Would you have done any better than the guy with the bag? I don't know, I just don't know you well enough.
I agree society needs strong men, I do not agree religion is the answer, the world does not need religion. "Religion makes the world a better place" is the biggest lie in history. What happened to europe when religion was at the center of everything? It was called the dark ages, one of the worst times to be alive.

It may be ok in Japan, here you call somebody a foreigner, it's rude or akward in the best case, in the worst case it's just blatent racism.
You don't have to agree, but I do hope Japan eventually changes this akward custom, you know deep down it just doesn't "feel" right.
I'll put it in another way: are you ok with making guest in your country unconfortable for no valid reason? Here's the thing, a tourist comes to Japan, most don't speak Japanese, it's pretty obvious that he's not from the area. Besides let's face it, the context is important, the way it's said is important, you know very well some people say "gaijin" the wrong way.

A slightly different angle, kind of talked about in the video => rejection does set you free. You shouldn't crave it per se, but getting rejecting is 100% a good thing. Why? The way I see, it's avoiding many problems, in short it avoid wasting your time on somebody that doesn't deserve it. Regardless whether you're compatible or not, the girl tells you: ok, we're not meant to be together. That is perfectly fine, accept it and move you, she just did you a favor. That is the best thing she could ever do for you. Now if she lied (and possibly lied to herself), now that's a whole can of worms to open, could be she's a good girl who just made a mistake, which she can pick up later on, or she's a low quality women and she did you a favor, as you now now to avoid her.
Another angle on this same subject: how many girls are you actually compatible? Go even further, how many of those same girls could you actually live a long and happy life with? Probably very few, in fact, most girls/women you meet aren't made for you anyways, so who the hell cares if you're rejected many times, that's just normal.
Some other angle, slightly different subject, but along the same lines: a girl tells you you're ugly. Again, who the hell cares :). I've been told both, been told I was ugly, whatever, then other girls told me I was the hottest guy ever, which one matters at the end of the day? apply the same logic I used above, it's just chemistry, you're not compatible, that's no big deal. It's a hard rejection, it's harsh, but you got the truth and that matters a lot. If you happened to find that girl attractive, but she thinks you're ugly and unattractive, then at least you know.
As Alexander described, the one single most annoying thing is to not know what's going on. Trying to guess wtf she is thinking is the one headache of dating, rejection is the complete opposite of this, in that case you know where you are and in theory you should know what to do next. Move on, don't waste your time on that girl.
In my experience, rejection or being called ugly isn't always the end of the line, at times she comes back on her own, but at least then, you're not putting any effort into it.

I fully admit liking bigger eyes, even though at the same time I do have a bit of "asian fever", I do like asian eyes. On Japanese women, I 100% prefer the bigger eyes, it's just a preference, though doesn't mean there's no pretty women with single eyelids.
As for surgery, I kind of don't mind, as long as it's not exagerated, I don't mind breast surgery either, but again, don't exagerate. I do see a lot of asian women exagerate when it comes to surgery, but it's not just that, there's also the heavy make up and filters. I follow a couple of foreign pick up artists in Japan and basically they girls rarely look like their pictures. Granted here girls don't look like their pictures either, but this country doesn't have a heavy make up culture, nor do young women get a ton of surgery. Very often girls do lie about their age and/or weight, while also using filters or using certain angles to appear more attractive.
Personally I've never dated anyone who had work done, sure I've slept with some, for longtherm relationships, I prefer natural beauty and above everything else, be honest, don't lie. My guess is: very likely a lot of these girls lie about getting surgery done in Japan. Such lies are big red flag, they'll be exposed eventually.

I'm fluent in spanish, french, dutch, English, I speak some basic german, basic Japanese. The first 4 I can switch to some local dialects, to me it doesn't really matter which of the 4 you pick, though I guess in english I got an "unusual" accent cause you can't pick where it's from, I just never picked up any english language accent, the other I can speak to a local lvl with a local accent.
I got a Japan trip planned, no date set, but very likely in a year or two, working more actively on my Japanese. If I ever master Japanese & German enough, I think at that point I would set my next targets on Chinese & Russian probably, it would also be kinda cool to speak some arabic, but I know it's really hard.

It's a topic where you have to be really careful what you say and what you think. Too many statements are xenophobic, some are just plain racism.
Personally, live near our capital, honestly? Normal citizens bother me, there's too many people, that's why I live outside of the city. With or without tourists, there's still so many people around in the city. Tourism doesn't bother me, but I don't stay too long in Brussels & other cities, I fully enjoy being in less crowded, that's why I do the sentiment, but I don't agree with the way it's phrased and the stupid assumptions made, that in truth come out of anything but common sense. It's so stupid to say gainjin this and that, make general assumptions that usually aren't even true.
This said, if we are reasonable, yes, tourism can be contained & controlled, there are some limits, some cities are forced to limit tourism. I used to enjoy Paris 20 years ago, now it's so crowded it's ridiculous.
Now let's turn this around: what if you start complaining about "Asian" tourists? Let's face it, to most people, Japanese or Chinese, they can't tell the difference, I can, because I speak some Japanese, I do know what Mandarin sounds like & Korean, I usually can fairly easily spot the differences. Do "Asian" tourists in Brussels annoy me in some way? No and note, there's a lot of them, still doesn't bother me much, most of them behave anyways.

Is it really that rare for a girl to ask a guy out? Sure it's rare in my own case, no doubt about it, but single digits? I'd put it beween 20-30 girls asking me out seriously, double to triple that if you count drunk girls, you can add some more, the same girl asking more than once, I only counted 1 time for each girl in the first number. every single long relationship I had, she asked me out. Sure I courted, to even judged her in my direction, but the only 2 times I asked a girl out, I got rejected and frankly, I barely consider those 2 times very serious proposals. BTW I only said yes to a few of those.
I guess I'm pretty lucky?
