  1. I remember hearing putin telling Bush about some kind of religious cross that miraculosly had survived a fire but was found and then blessed in Jerusalem if memory serves. Someone did their homework on Bush who was a newborn religious so they came up with this story. He, putin, knows how to take advantage of the fact that other people are religious and makes sure he knows what to do and then make sure he gets filmed. A former colleague thought Saddam Hussein was religious and I protested. He had been filmed praying but someone told me he didn’t know what to do. He also came up with the idea that he should create a copy of the Quran written in his own blood. That was hilarious, even I know blood is considered to be impure, just like urine. I must admit I find it very hard to imagine Trump praying unless he has to or there’s a photo op. Yet, all these people could successfully use religion to their advantage.
