As I listened to this vlog, your ideas became increasingly clear to me. Of course, as you have the mentality and mindset as you describe, you will end up with the same kind of leadership as there’s nothing to prevent them from gaining ever more power. However, it’s been decades since I realised that Polish people are very different. The idea that hordes of polish people would rush to fight a russian war during soviet era felt utterly ridiculous to me. There are some cases where I want politicians to tell what to do and that would be like when covid-19 was a problem. Luckily, most Swedes are a bit like Darth Vader, self isolation comes natural to us and it seems we did well. I think Americans that protested because they wanted rules to be more ”Swedish” completely misunderstood. Swedes trust the government and the lack of shut down didn’t mean that you could behave any way that you wanted or that your ignorance was worth as much as actual knowledge.
