Super interesting radio and if you want to give some feedback to Retevis tell them to incorporate some of those waterproof features in to their normal radios, you need to get a dummy load Lewis you can test in to that and there will be enough signal off the sides to pick up and record on your scanner if you are very close to the dummy load, that way you can test the audio, one thing I have found when listening to some marine handhelds in the past is the audio can be muffled because of the waterproofing affects the mic sensitivity, I know some of the Cobra waterproof PMR radios suffer from this problem, ill have to buy a boat now so i can justify buying marine radios ;-)
