So when fossil fuel runs out your going to walk everywhere are you?
7
yes they do they give you plenty of warning like you saw on the video, most electric cars can travel 10-15 miles past absolute empty.

Yup Tesla model 3 money for a Nissan, the Leaf Acenta is more reasonable on PCP at £200 a month.

@fermitupoupon1754 Yes this is true, you still have to be careful when using a walkie talkie though because the cops can bust you for driving without due care and attention, I use walkie talkies when driving and I admit its still a distraction, I wouldnt be surprised if the law changes with regard to this.

missus has gone a renault megane and ive got a nissan leaf that just is not true, book a test drive in a model 3 performance plus and then tell me that your ford focus is more fun to drive.

Gov tell us its too expensive to change the signage honestly.

@trazac American mile and English mile are denoted as being the same these day, see wiki.

whats your point?

I havent had range anxiety for years, every MSA has chargers dont even think about it.
1
at home its your kwh rating, so if you pay 10p per kwh then on a 100kwh battery its a tenner for approx 370 miles on average although you could knock that down massively charging on economy 7 to more like £5.00, if you have solar panels in the summer it drops even more, its more expensive when out and about though at about 30p, it depends on the operator, the Kia is very efficient, the jag isnt.
1
@AndreR241 Yes good point, Nissan are offering god deals on the std Leaf at the moment the Leaf Acenta, grand down £200 per month thats really very good, we spend £120 a month on petrol alone, Leaf = no annual car tax and cheap servicing, chargers everywhere, charge at home.
1
no they didnt, the battery management systems cut off at a conservative 3.3V per cell which is totally fine for this battery technology, I will agree doing this regularly isnt good for battery long term health but nobody in the real world would do this, these all have minimum 8 year battery warranty as well, most people with deep enough pockets to own these wont be owning them past 3 years to be honest.
1
Nah not true because the batteries are used for none automotive less stressful use at their end of life cycle they arent scrapped or recycled, which can be a very long time and as the grid gets cleaner with more renewables the cars get cleaner unlike fossil fuel cars, its an old assumption this one thats long been debunked.
1
so a 300 mile range cars isnt long enough range for you? have you ever driven 1000km without stopping? ill agree they are still too expensive thanks largely to this attitude that you need massive range when most people actually dont.
1
Yeah because its been a really unpopular video and like if he had your accent it would have doubled its views LOL
