@michaelpearce8661 I know what you mean. It doesn’t really make much sense to me when they’ve already just talked about using a module to collect pieces of debris in space to create new space station modules. I would’ve thought it would make more sense to salvage as many components as possible from the ISS (Solar panels and battery systems being just a few of them) and install them on other stations. Saving both on money and payload space.

Totally. It’s ridiculous the fact that I phone today can cost that much. I really do believe frankly that technology should be priced on the value of its individual components metallic wealth, rather than simply how much the company wishes to charge for it.

That is totally cool. Will definitely have to look out for that.

I truly do hope that inflatable modules will be a thing this year or at least next year. It should’ve happened a long time ago and is entirely feasible yet no one has push forward with it. If anyone can do it, it feels like either the European space agency or SpaceX themselves. I can’t imagine NASA doing it otherwise all that big money won’t be going to all their private contractors, seeing as the inflatable modules are so much cheaper. I also totally believe that Orbital Assembly’s Gateway Foundation project could really work, if they actually show us some physical evidence of the work rather than simply on CGI models, one scene of a real metal frame and constant talking. We want to see actual results to know that this will be a real thing. Then you will actually get our full monetary support. The project could totally work, if we actually get real vocal backing from one of the big launch providers which we have yet to see any.
