  1. Don’t worry, I do the same thing. It helps to keep track of everything as we have seen here, time seems to be moving crazy fast. Without even a basic placeholder name, it just sweeps by too quickly these days. I think it also could be a different nationality thing, as different countries of different experiences for Past decades. Some of the experiences and memories listed here are from American and Canadian experiences, whilst the ones here in the UK where I live are a lot more different. For starters we in the UK do sometimes use the term early 2000s, BUT I do think we also use the term ‘naughties’ quite a lot more. Yes, naughties does sound weird to the ear, but it’s a little bit easier than saying early 2000s constantly.
