  1. I am very ashamed that I think I may have only heard his name before in passing terms. I’ve always been interested a bit in fashion but never fully delved into the world let alone the makers, so to hear that he had brought so many iconic designs and revolutions to the fashion industry is amazing, and I only wish I had known this when he was still with us. it’s also amazing that he had created so many beautiful things, in order to help bring an end to the memory of that day in WWII. I think that will have a lot of weight with many people. There are so many great Japanese fashion designers and other artists that are some of the best in the world in my opinion, and he might very well have been the best of them. Thanks to this, I will be doing a lot more research into his life and the impact he has had on everyday life, not just in the high end fashion industry.
