  1. It definitely seems like the invasion is going to happen now, and quite frankly I think it’s better it does happen rather than this limbo continuing forever. At least when it does start will actually know for certain that Russia truly does intend war. Ukraine has basically been at war with Russia for years now, it’s just that the rest of the world hasn’t been ready to admit it. I can only hope that the UK does truly get involved militarily when it all kicks off, and it seems like we really will now.On that note at least, I am thankful.

  2. I so agree with you. I truly wish this war was not going to happen, but it seems like the wrong generation now is in control of Russia, and there’s no way they are ever going to back down unless they are killed first. I wish was didn’t settle things and a peace can continue to lead on to further peace, but it seems like most the time, a war of the scale generally leads to longer piece than without in that it sorts out a lot of internal issues. It’s not really the same when you compare it to things like terrorist states where the soldiers don’t wear uniforms. Usually with these ones, when the fighting actually stops, it stops for several decades. People are going to die and it is going to be horrible, but have a feeling this war will be over much faster than any of the conflicts in the Middle East. We can only hope that when the smoke clears, enough will be standing for the countries to begin anew much faster.

  3.  @Channel-23s  Let us hope all of us NATO allies can work together to make sure this conflict is short enough that less civilians die than how many have suffered so far. Ukraine cannot be allowed to continue to suffer like this anymore.

  4. I really do wish you were right. Unfortunately I think this was going to happen one way or another, and will only not happen if Vladimir Putin was removed from power, which is definitely not going to happen. It seems like sadly, the only way any of this can all be resolved is through military conflict. Lives will be lost, but it’s better that than this never-ending stalemate and encroaching on other countries territories the decade after decade.
