Well that’s true in many places for Britain. I think it was that after World War II many Jewish parentless children were taken to Wales where they could recover in the countryside and learn to adapt to life after being locked in the camps. Many are alive to this day and it saved in change their lives forever.

@muckraker7942 Well that is just one of the scummiest things I’ve ever heard. What do you think these people are millionaires or something. In the end it is nothing when you put it next to how much is in the British government reserve. You complaining like this is the same almost as people complaining about having to pay for the NHS.

Absolutely massive thank you to everyone in the town who has signed up to allow people to stay with them. The fact the delays are taking THIS LONG and can’t even be processed after the people have already arrived instead when we know they aren’t some kind of terrorists or migrant workers is absolutely appalling. STOP BEING PIG HEADED IDIOTS GOV AND GET THEM HERE NOOOOW. I mean sending weapons to Ukraine is one excuse, but these are human beings who aren’t even in Ukraine anymore and is something entirely different. There is truly no excuse for this. All the excuses that the government is trying to give is nothing but talk and nothing more.
