This is truly the worst outcome. We don’t know what for sure happened stage by stage, and for all we know the implosion could’ve happened after contact had been lost, but we’ve just got to hope. At least, that this inclusion did happen before any suffocation took place. It would’ve been quick and quite possibly painless. Now the next phase of the operation commences. retrieving as many of the fragments as possible back up to the surface for extensive analysis, and, to see if any bodies (or any part of them still remaining) are still in the vicinity and can also be recovered. We owe this to them at the very least. My deepest condolences to the families and friends of these souls.
