The sooner the Congress is no longer majority Republican the better. Although the best would be to make sure that these judges are not allowed to be a monopoly of either party, or elected by the people rather than chosen by a president.Although I’m a little bit confused why Trump was able to get them in but Biden isn’t able to switch them out with Democrats or make it an equal number instead.

It’s absolute horrible to say the least. I knew these judges were bad, I didn’t think they would go this far (at least not so soon after the abortion ruling) it makes no sense to do so. Clearly not only are these Republicans just delusional, but they must also secretly somewhere be in the back pocket or being blackmailed by these Republican states. It can only be the real thing here, unless these judges are also secretly as brainwashed Trump was on so many major issues.

Once again the US Supreme Court shows how out of touch and evil it is by comparison to the majority of the public over there. It’s absolutely appalling that a president (in this case Trump) is able to choose judges in the first place rather than it being required to be an equal split. That is most definitely not democratic. What’s upsetting is that by the time even Joe Biden can possibly fix this, it will still be too late or the damage will be done. Step-by-step, the US is continuously going backwards. It seems very much that once again, as always, Europe including Britain will actually have to lead by example. The US cannot possibly lead by example when itself is the largest hypocrite on so many major issues/

@FlecheNoire07 Yeah it’s bloody ridiculous in the US. The system should really be more like the one in Canada or the UK. Which of course we’ve been saying so for decades without any luck to the Yanks over there. They just keep getting worse and worse.

Yeah I think the US probably would be doing a lot better, even to this day if there was still a member of the Commonwealth or the Queen was the head of state. I mean, just imagine really how different US would be if even the President and the other courts knew that there was actually someone above all of them. They would actually act a lot more carefully and behave. At least better than they usually do.

Another reason why the US is just so F%£& up. Politicians shouldn’t all be allowed to elect judges. They should only be allowed to get the job based on their actual skills as judges or elected by the majority of the people. Not politicians.

It feels like the EPA is supposed to maintain the standards and implement them, which frankly it should still do, but I guess they were brought in because it was taking far too long for new rules in the US Congress to actually get past. Which I guess was the big point as Republicans were just keep blocking absolutely anything they were scared of that was knew that they immediately thought was going to impact jobs at the expense of absolutely anything else. Basically fuck anything so long as they could keep that dimwit voters in jobs at the expense of the planet. They would probably happily blow up another country if it meant the excuse of keeping American jobs at this rate. 😓
