That really did actually rather hit hard. I do hope they do a follow up video to this one someday. It’s not nice the just be left hanging like this. Hope their result were at least favourable to themselves though.

So you studied in South Korea then? I am so sorry so many of you have had to go through this. I study in the UK and I am a university student in my third year and although obviously our exams aren’t nearly as hard or as long I still very much struggled on all of them. It definitely makes me wish just like for Korea and many other Asian countries that exams were more based around practical learning rather than all these different categories. I too after college was going through the stages of wondering who I was and what I want to do with my life. Even at university and having a possible direction laid out in front of me, I still don’t know if that is truly what I want to do for a long period of time and question The nature of my reality. I don’t think that will be changing too much any time soon but I do hope I can start to come to some sort of true realisation.

The length of this test is just too cruel. I can only imagine what it must feel like for those that actually fail. It is good that some of them can still feel even happy or confident in either a result of the exam, but they shouldn’t have to do that in the first place. At least there is still a school or schools in Korea that focus more on teaching practical things rather than emphasis on exams. I think a lot of us can agree we need more of those in the world. Considering the emphasis in this video on units of 10, they really could’ve made this video a little bit longer to delve more into the video’s subject matter and let us see more of their everyday lives and training techniques. BTW, it really is crazy how many people in Korea are called Kim. Hahaha

Exactly. All of that training coming down to a single eight hour block is not good at all. They really should’ve split it up. Actually I think that’s how they do it in China, except I think for them they do it one after another, which I guess is still pretty bad.

@nixxfleet That is so saaad. Considering my ability to retain knowledge, I really don’t think I could ever get into a high level university in Japan if I was raised there. I’m way too lazy or wanting to balance out my work with personal life, but who knows. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to still try living there sometime.
