I do find it a little bit weird that they haven’t recovered it frankly within two days, let alone a week. I mean, I know it’s deep and all, but you’d think they would have the equipment on standby ready to recover it. I guess they are going to have to get a more portable submarine down there to attach any cables if necessary then winch it up. No need to be gentle about it if it’s no longer reusable.

Blimey I’m surprised that just because it in international waters it means fair game for anyone who wants to try and salvage it. Just because it crashed it doesn’t mean it’s no longer property of the US government. This is really shocking. I also didn’t know that a US F35 had crashed in the first place. When people were talking about it a few days ago, I thought they were still referring to the British F35 that failed to land onto HMS Queen Elizabeth and went in the drink a little while back. Still don’t know if we’ve retrieved that one or not. No matter what happens with better bloody well do it FAST.

@MrVioletpandora Actually we are still not sure what happened officially yet with the British pilot of the F35 who was attempting to land on HMS Queen Elizabeth. It feels like it might have been pilot error but it could’ve also been a mechanical issue. Definitely not losing their job though.
