Pretty much. There needs to be a documentary here on exactly what happened. The army was supposed to be trained enough, so why did it fall apart so fast. We know Taliban attacked pretty quick, apparently, but it still doesn’t make sense. Was the army not trained up enough? Did they not have enough equipment? Or were they just simply so tired of fighting at that level that fatigue just meant they didn’t have the will to fight anymore against such a force? So many questions that still haven’t been answered fully. We never should’ve left. It was government mandate started by the US that resulted in us leaving, not military logic.

@ApocalypsesDawn Now there’s a country that knows what to do. Perhaps Ukraine could actually help in the future with this.

This’s absolutely ridiculous and soooo wrong yet again. I know Afghanistan really tired out the worst a lot, but we certainly can’t be okay with this happening again can we? I know many people aren’t going to like this, but we seriously do need to get involved in Afghanistan again. We can’t let the whole concept of war fatigue control our every action.

@xvi1128 Yeah, looking back, it really does seem that Trump was the one who started this knock on effect. He was the one who wanted AND STARTED to pull US forces out of Afghanistan before the country was ready.
